I don't think that's a nice idea. Despite that do not touch the interview dates. Since NVC scheduled interview date on Dec 21st, that means there are no available slots before Dec 21st. You can always postpone interview date (which delays more time) if you want.

Hey guys, my husband had his interview this morning. He passed!!! YIPPEE!! He said the 3 questions they asked were easy, the most trouble he had was remembering dates we traveled out of the country, He actually didn't remember dates, so the officer just asked where he went and was satisfied with that. We did request a name change, because my husband has 2 last names like most hispanics, but they insisted that he did not need to have a judicial ceremony and he can just use one last name. I don't know how his citizenship document is going to come out, it will probably still have 2 last names, and therefore he'll have to have that on his passport. Oh well. I guess it is what it is. I'm just happy he passed and it's over with. His appointment was at 8am and he was done at 8:50. He said the officer was extremely nice; this was in Greer, SC.

Thanks to @AustinCanada for fixing formats.

There is another thing we can do we can complete the application without attaching any evidences docs and once we are done with submitting we can go to evidence tab and upload whatever we want to that won't create any duplicates. this works absolutely fine.

This post is for anyone who wants to apply for the N-400 online. The USCIS website is a bit tricky and doesn't take you directly to the N-400 application portal. These are the steps to online application:
 
1. Go to this link https://my.uscis.gov/apply/naturalization
2. Click on "Create Account"
3. Type in your email  and click on "Sign Up"
4. A confirmation will be sent to your email. Click on the link sent to your email and it will redirect you to a page that will enable you to create a password. Then click "Submit"
5. Go to think link https://my.uscis.gov/exploremyoptions/us_citizen_through_naturalization#benefit-related-content-2 and click the green "Apply" button
6. After this you will be returned to the original log in page where you sign in with your credentials
7. You can take the eligibility test and start your application. 
8. While uploading evidence please be careful because the summary page is still glitchy. Upload the documents in one log in (usually at the end after you have done your final review and before submission) for best results.

Got my parents visitor visa approved from India during GC with extend letter

Checks got debited from account.. Waiting for NOA..

I was wrong calculating 90 days. I thought before 3months of GC anniversary . I mailed my I-751 on 26th but my eligibility date is 29th July. Thanks to USPS for updating my scheduled delivery date to 30th July.

USCIS ELIS fee paid on 20th Oct status is showing "Your application/petition has been accepted and is pending review." what does this mean??

Yes . I already sent to the embassy on 8th October and the case last updated status is 9th October in AP status. VFS guys said it will take 4 to 5 days to receive passport back.

Small suggestion to the applicants.. if you case have a Joint Sponsor and he filing taxes jointly, Please carry ORIGINAL I864A from Joint Sponsor household member(income or no income) [or] must carry Joint Sponsor W2 recent year copies to avoid delays at Interviews..
NVC hasn't been catch this at their stage...

Just now my passport status changed in UStraveldocs to " Still in US consulate" at the same time in CEAC status last updated status changed to Today date (09/10/2014) but status still in AP. What does this mean? did they do any thing on my case.????
