  1. Hay guys,

ill give you a little background on our case.

Original scan date was 24th April received a checklist for DS-260 dated 21st of may on the 4th of june, however my ds-260 was filed on the 1st of may. having called to find out what was going on i was informed to ignore the checklist however there was a document missing and i would be receiving another checklist after finding out i could use the cover sheet from the false check list we sent the document and got our new scan date 8th of june.

noting that the DS-260 had still not been reviewed. calling a couple of weeks later asking for an update. ds-260 had still not been looked at. having been getting quite annoyed with them i decided to leave it until the review date of our checklist was up.

Calling them on the 30 days so 8th of July. DS-260 had still not been reviewed after them having it for over 60 days. was informed that it was flagged for supervisor review a few weeks ago. i waited patiently for another week untill this week i called every day and asked for a supervisor none where ever available requested a call back. our checklist was put under supervisor review too on monday this week.

and we got our cc confirmed yesterday.

my advice would be if you are over time by a couple of weeks and there is not real reason for it eg, your case is striaght forward call everyday and ask to speak to a supervisor. i have heard of people getting through and getting reviews over the phone etc.

  2. Any one had any luck of the DS-260 review mine was submitted on the 1st of May, since then I've had a checklist for my birth cert scan date 8th of June, calling this week in the hope of any kind of news and my 260 still hasn't been reviewed this whole thing is stupid. I know we have to wait for the birth certificate to be reviewed which will be the 30 days even tho it's one piece of paper. But surely the 260 should have been done by now. I think the rep put it under supervisor review. I'm just worried there going to say I have to fill it out again cos they are useless.

  3. Hay guys I'm confused, just received a checklist email dated the 21st of May asking my to submit a DS260 I think. Here's what it says...

    ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the address provided.

    ______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

All traveling immigrant visa applicants on your case are required to complete and submit the DS-260 Online Immigrant Visa Application. Even if you previously filled out a DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Form, you must now complete the DS-260 in order to be eligible for a visa interview.

You will find instructions for submitting all required forms and supporting civil documents on our website http://nvc.state.gov/.

Please note the applicant will need the following information to access and complete DS-260:

    NVC case number

    Invoice identification number

Beneficiary identifcation number for each traveling applicant

If you are unsure of, or no longer have the required identification numbers, please contact the NVC by email at asknvc@state.gov or by telephone at 603-334-0700 and we will provide them to you.

To avoid delaying your visa(s) we urge you to send the required supporting civil documents, for all applicants, together in a single submission as soon as possible after submitting the DS-260.

Your case may be involved with paperless processes for submitting forms and documents. At this time, the availability of paperless processing is limited to selected U.S. Embassies and Consulates. A list of participating embassies and consulates can be found on http://nvc.state.gov/.

Is that what it is asking for cod I submitted it on the 1st of May.
