The person from the UK that got an interview on the 11th of August was a different type of visa.. Looks like they go through cr1/ir1 visas afterwards..

How does the nvc work??

Our CC was 7/16 and we don't have an interview, but people with a later CC have an interview date in UK. You would of thought there was some sort of order to it not just completely random. This whole process is ridiculous.

Yes, they had lots of free spots, they are not busy right now. My medical will be on 4th

10th of August. And I've seen people being scheduled for 25th of August

I was approved on Thursday and got an emai with the interview date on Tuesday

ill give you a little background on our case.

Original scan date was 24th April received a checklist for DS-260 dated 21st of may on the 4th of june, however my ds-260 was filed on the 1st of may. having called to find out what was going on i was informed to ignore the checklist however there was a document missing and i would be receiving another checklist after finding out i could use the cover sheet from the false check list we sent the document and got our new scan date 8th of june.

noting that the DS-260 had still not been reviewed. calling a couple of weeks later asking for an update. ds-260 had still not been looked at. having been getting quite annoyed with them i decided to leave it until the review date of our checklist was up.

Calling them on the 30 days so 8th of July. DS-260 had still not been reviewed after them having it for over 60 days. was informed that it was flagged for supervisor review a few weeks ago. i waited patiently for another week untill this week i called every day and asked for a supervisor none where ever available requested a call back. our checklist was put under supervisor review too on monday this week.

and we got our cc confirmed yesterday.

my advice would be if you are over time by a couple of weeks and there is not real reason for it eg, your case is striaght forward call everyday and ask to speak to a supervisor. i have heard of people getting through and getting reviews over the phone etc.

checklist was for me stupidly sending the wrong birth certificate, in England we have two types.

although it did take them from May 1st to review the DS-260

there admin is a joke. hoping for some good news soon..

Any one had any luck of the DS-260 review mine was submitted on the 1st of May, since then I've had a checklist for my birth cert scan date 8th of June, calling this week in the hope of any kind of news and my 260 still hasn't been reviewed this whole thing is stupid. I know we have to wait for the birth certificate to be reviewed which will be the 30 days even tho it's one piece of paper. But surely the 260 should have been done by now. I think the rep put it under supervisor review. I'm just worried there going to say I have to fill it out again cos they are useless.

Why does everything happen so slow at NVC, how does it take them 2 weeks to send out an email it baffles me! I got an email today dated the 21st of May.

So I will be getting a checklist for my birth certificate but on the plus side because I had the false one I can use that cover sheet to send it in and don't have to wait for the new checklist. Wonder if it will take them 30 days to review on piece of paper?

hay guys, so it was a false checklist but ive just been told i will be getting another for my Birth cert, as they do not have one on file even tho i was told everything with the documents was fine i got cut off be fore i had all the information so need on hold again.

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the address provided.

Is that what it is asking for cod I submitted it on the 1st of May.

Jaymain always u call ask to speak with a supervisor they will let u on hold ylthen will say there is not supervisor available. But keep on doing it and u will reach one who gonna complete ur case right away.

Just spoke to them again, DS-260 still not been reviewed I mentioned it had been 32 days since I submitted it. He said he's made a note of it to get it pushed along ? not quite sure what this means. I'll leave it another day then call on Friday I suppose.
