my case is also at abu dhabi embassy and i have emailed them 2 times but no reply. my husband's case was already approved but they now put him under AP. how long do they put in AP??

anyone from UAE is in AP?? how long will it take?? n did u get ds 5535??

yes n they were giving him visa because they kept his passport in january during his interview n didnt give any 221g slip. they were saying in few days his passport will be returned with visa stamped. but because i was pregnant we told them to hold his visa for one year. so the officer said ok and after june he will need to send new medical n his passport for stamping. this novemeber we did exactly the same but it got return the same day with 221g green slip. only AP was marked on it n passport.

no he is not from those countries but he is from pakistan.

wow what a lucky day, congratulations!!!

i recieved the green letter from the embassy 221g missing document and/or administration process ...

Administration was check marked and from missing documents passport was check marked. so the embassy is asking for his old passports along with new one cuz he only sent his new passport not old ones and they have his old passport number he did change it during the interview but still i got this passport check marked for missing document. im so confused. please help me guys 

so my passport is check marked so do i send my passport cuz my 221g is about missing document? im really confused cuz instructions r not clear. 

one more question that came to my mind. the letter that u guys recieved 221g did they marked passport on it as well or just AP was marked on it?? cuz they marked passport on my sheet so i wanna know if they mark on all of the 221g. 

anyone after interview were given or emailed as urgent ds5535 and how long it took for them to get their visa? im in so much tension dont know what to do. also were u given green slip 221g or what color of slip given?

i will call the embassy tomorrow since today the embassy is close due to american holiday. thank u

one more question i have the form i recieved 221g, missing document and/or administrative process have been met. and only administrative process was check marked on it and passport. so that means my case is at the embassy n they r looking at the case again n hopefully will make decision soon right??

should i send an email to them or will an email delay my case even more??

one more thing they returned my husband's medical as well why did they do that?? its really confusing cuz the same day the returned the passport with the medical.

i emailed them back within 2 hrs with the form completed. so my email was sent as urgent does that means my husband will get his visa soon? for how long r u waiting for?  n which country embassy ??? im in UAE abu dhabi embassy

It sounds like you were approved but since the visa was on hold and a new vetting has come into affect during your hold period now they want you to complete the 5535. I would complete it and have my Congress person follow up on that situation.

one quick questions whoever got the email for 5535 did they write it as urgent? cuz in my email it was written urgent in the subject line.

in january they were keeping his passport for stamping but we asked for hold of one year. so the officer said that they will hold his visa for one year n if my husband send the passport after june then he will need to submit new medical. before june he will need to send in only passport for stamping. so after my delivery this month we decided to send the passport with the medical but they returned the passport with the medical n with green slip 221g only AP check marked on it. Also the same day they recieve my husband's passport the returned it the same day n sentds 5535 form as well which i submitted it within one hr.

no he has never visited the us and he is from pakistan. 

my husband was given this form n we filled it out n submitted it within one of recieving the email. our passport was sent back with green slip 221g n only AP was check marked. how long will it take? my husband was already approved then why no stamping now. we were told to send the passport with medical for stamping but returned our passport without stamping.

my husband's passport was returned with green 221g slip but my husband's visa was approved already n before they were keeping it for stamping n we were told to send whenever we want to get it stamped but now they sent us this green slip. how long will it take ??? they put us in AP

hello, 

my husband sent his passport yesterday n the abu dhabi us embassy sent his passport back the same day but his status is not changed in ceas website. we havent recieved the passport yet so we dont know if the visa is stamped or not. next 2 days are off days here in uae. the embassy will open on sunday n the empost courier company as well. does anybody know if they change the status the same day the send the passport or next business day??  we got an email saying that my husband's passport is being sent with tracking number.

my husbamd sent his passport for stamping as well n at night i recieved notification of passport is sent back but ceac website status is not changed to issue. why? does that mean they returned the passpprt without stamping or they forgot to update the website?

hello yesterday my husband sent his passport for stamping but we recieved an email today saying we need to send ds5535 n email was on urgent. did anybody recieved this kind of email n after how many days the visa was stamped???
