  1. VISA APPROVED AND IN THE WEBSITE SHOWS AS ISSUED....it means it is printed and soon to be deliver? I want to thank VJ family for all the support and encouragement you have giving me! I want to wish all of you good luck and God bless all of you!:dance::dance::dance:

    WHOA!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!! I'm so disappointed today is not the 6th  Ahhh man... it's a good sign that it's already a long week at 10am Tuesday, right? ^_^

LOL!! I'm not going to see my hubby tonight, I have a feeling today is going to draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag!

And now the nerves are hitting - it feels like the day before I got married LOL

  2. I can go stalk him and wait for him outside the embassy for you ;). I am off tomorrow.. hahahaa  You will probably be awake when he wakes up :):dancing::)

I do not expect to sleep much tonight lol He's going to text me when he gets out, he's said it's ok if I break the news on VJ before he gets home LOL You shoukd wait outside with a bag on confetti!!!

THANK YOU!! Yes, I was thinking the same thing. When I heard about it, I did the math and was hoping this ceasefire will stick. We shall see what happens. Thus far, from what I know, none of the ceasefires have been kept. My husband is in the West Bank, which is a different government and different situation from Gaza. However, I worry bc there have been demonstrations that have caused killings in the WB and some bad things are also happening in East Jerusalem. He has assured me he is steering clear of all the protests.

The situation in the WB scares me. The random checkpoints with the IDF holding large automatic weapons. I have been there a couple of times and even during "average" times, it is scary for me. Each time, I was detained for hours, being questioned and told to sit for hours. Until, finally, allowed to pass into the WB and can visit my husband's family. Bc of these conditions, we decided it best not to marry in the WB bc it was most likely I would not be allowed to pass the boarder unless we were married. It was a tough decision bc then no close family members could afford the trip to Jordan for our wedding.

I hope all goes okay and again, Thank you for your kind thoughts. ❤️

Oh my goodness!! Reading your story makes me realize how much I take for granted sometimes. Let's hope this cease fire sticks and he has a safe journey and successful interview! I can't wait tosee your visa approved post!!!

  3. Ooops! Sorry, my internet is so bad, here at work, I double posted that.

    Totally serious question:

Has anyone received their medical unsealed??? My husband got his and it was not selaed. He called the physician and the physician stated that they used to provide them sealed but no longer do.

On the consulate site, it has nothing current that says it should be sealed. Their most current doc is from May, 2014, but it does not say it has to be sealed. They have a write-up from like 2011, that says it should be sealed. I found on the traveldocs state site that it should be sealed, but it is not embassy specific.

My husband said that the physician has been doing this for 25 years, so he knows what he is doing and they know him at the embassy, end of discussion!

    Any advise????

This does not answer your question, but I just heard there's been an agreement for a 72 hour cease fire, naturally I thought of you and your husband. His interview is within that time, yes?

  4. Is tomorrow your husband interview? I thought it was August 6th. Good luck and like you told me "he is going to be fine" . I am going to bed now, let see if I can sleep, having a glass of wine to relax lol :rofl::rofl:

It is in the 6th, my husband and I video chat when I get home from work and since he's 6 hours ahead of me, it's late over there when I get in. So tomorrow when I get ime he will be asleep as he must get up at 5:30am Wednesday morning (I will probably still be awake)!

  5. hahaha.jpg

No-one sees crazy until they go through the US immigration process ;)

    That made me snort! :jest:

Yes that is me, I sent it right away when I found out and it worked, I was lucky! But don't forget I did EP....

MY INTERVIEW IS TOMORROW AT 7:45 am , I am so stressed....please cross your fingers, toes and eyes for me!

Good luck (even though you don't need it)!! Try to get some sleep and don't forget to breathe!!! Lookig forward to the Visa Approved post tomorrow!

  6. If not mistaken I think they are no longer going to continue the DACA program at least it's what it said in the news.

What news source was that? The DACA renewals were due in June of this year and will begin processing in the fall of this year I do believe.... I don't think the DACA waiver was designed to be an ongoing waiver, at least I hope not.

I have nothing to do with this letter writing campaign and my suggestions have fallen on deaf ears (oh well). The I-130 backlog of 2013 was a result of USCIS prioritizing DACA waivers over I-130. If that's going to be mentioned in this letter writing thingy, there really needs to be footnotes or something of data backing up this claim.

  7. I got this from the facebook group, maybe that explains why some people are over 40business days still waiting for their IV bill, even before NVC started their new 60days emails.

*It's possible that an NVC agent opened your DS-261 to update your info and that reset your date. Supervisor Ike had to open my DS-261 when he unlocked my IV fee invoice. That made my DS-261 "Incomplete" and I had to fill it out again. However, it didn't matter because it was after I got my IV fee invoice.

If this is true, then I guess people should stop initiating supervisor requests before their 30 business day (or 60 day) mark?

  8. Can you elaborate on the turbo b, part? What did you say? :)

I still want august interview and planning to call embassy as soon as CC.

That's not how it works. You have to wait for a Case Complete, then you need to wait for the Embassy to receive your package. Then you need to complete the medical. Once the Embassy has the completed medical, then you can ask if they have an earlier date. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but August isn't happening for you.

I only went turbo because I was scheduled on the first day of August scheduling and got the last business day of the month.

Edit: To fix my first statement.

  9. If it is 60 calendar days, I am on 50 by the date on the letter I received. I am starting to wonder I should take a trip to see my wife, who is really heart broken (I know I may seem crazy but you all understand how it is to see your loved one so hurt). Does anyone from the UK have an idea of how long it can take for our interview once you get case closed? Is it massively variable, or reasonably predictable?

Most UK filers have their interviews roughly 6-8 weeks from case complete. Swing by the interview thread and take a look at Dwheels' awesome spreadsheet to get the latest stats. For us, we had CC April 3 and interview May 19.

I concur. Case Complete June 16th, interview date August 29th (I then turned into a turbo bi+ch and our interview was moved to August 6th).

Did you get check listed at some stage? What was your last scan date?

  10. VISA APPROOOOOVEEEDDD!!! :dancing::dance::D:wub:

I will be posting his interview review to our timeline shortly. His interview was at 8am this morning and he was in and out in less than an hour!! MY HUBBY IS COMING HOME ON THE 30TH WITH MEEE!!!! YAYYY!!!!!! :D:luv:

Thank you to everyone in this community who has supported us and been there with us through the frustrations, tears, small triumphs, and finally here at the last steps before we are together permanently (esp my Sept peeps and Brit/American duos - lookin at you guys!). Y'all are the best and for those still waiting on your next step, we wish you the best of luck and we're cheering for you on each of your individual journeys. (F)(L)

I already said it on the Facebook, but I'll say it here, too:

  11. I don't think my complaining helped. I honestly just complained about getting the 60 day email the business day prior to my 30 business day point. I reiterated that that seemed convenient for them. I also mentioned what my checklist was for and how something so minor was holding me up. The supervisor admitted he couldn't help me. I followed up by thanking him for proving to me that our government is incompetent and thanks for not helping me. That was it...I honestly don't think this had anything to do with my case complete. I honestly was due to be today regardless.

You are all sorts of awesome!

  12. If you want more activity, or people to join, you might want to expand a little instead of people joining a random FB page without any info. Just an idea...

    Agree.

Its a LETTER that IS FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE INVESTED IN BRINGING THEIR SPOUSE TO THE US. THIS INCLUDES FAMILY AND FRIENDS. The letter will be forwarded to white house representatives, congressmen, senators, contacts for visa help, media and those in power. The email will be sent to all of them tomorrow morning.

I left that group a few months ago therefore I'm not able to see anything. But if this is the same letter as the one posted here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/508457-lengthening-wait-times-letter/page-1

it needs some serious tweaking before it's ready to be sent out.

TSA, ICE and FEMA have nothing to do with the backlog and if the claims about DACA getting preference are going to be the highlight of that letter it would be a good idea to provide some data to back that up.

  13. Lol. YAY!!!! I am sure everyone will do just splendidly. :). (I like that word.)

I was wondering, did anyone notice this or is it my imagination, when ppl report back their interview experiences, the CO's seem to be nicer in the beginning of the month? Maybe I am just making up stuff in my thoughts, to remain clam.

I just got off the line w my husband. We were going over possible questions. We did not get to finish bc it is quite late there now. (He has an evening/overnight job, so we can be awake around the save times. It helps so much.) :D

GOOD LUCK YOU TWO!!!!!! :D. Please let us know how it goes.

I am scared!! I will be all crazy Thursday. I thought to see the positive side, he should be out of Jerusalem by the time I am ready to leave for work. :). Then, I can either have a happy day or be an emotional wreck!! (Gotta think, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY thoughts. Okay, need to play that 'HAPPY' song now.)

He's going to be just fine. You both will definitely be in my thoughts, he'll be safe and sound and in your arms soon :-)

I like your logic about the COs!!!

  14. CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK!!! :)

I know what you mean by waiting SO long!!! Our interview is Thursday. I cannot go with my husband. He is usually a cool cucumber, but he is a bundle of nerves. I really wish I could go, but I have not yet built-up enough time off, from my new job. (I am not sure if the Israelis would let me pass the boarder anyway.) I worked at one place for close to twelve years, but I got laid off four days after our NVC case complete. It set back us an additional three months bc I had to find another acceptable job that would be enough for the AOS and adequately support the family. Such a struggle has been all of this.

We all have to see the bright futures ahead and count our blessings. A man once said, "When you feel so wronged or deprived bc others have things so easily or so good, stop looking up at them. Look at what you do have. Then, look at those less fortunate and thank God for what he has given you." Those words really help me get by each day.

My husband and I were talking about his interview tonight. I've been completely neurotic and he's been so relaxed since we filed the I-130 and now that the interview is days away I'M cool as a cucumber and he's a bundle of nerves now! We've prepped for this moment and we're ready! We all got this!! :-)
