I completed my DS-261 on July 18th and when I called NVC, they said they have received it. The problem is that it shows incomplete after I clicked on it. Do I need to resubmit it? I know DS261 will affect when IV bill will be invoiced, does anyone know when they invoice the IV bills?On the guide, it says IV will be invoiced after DS261 is accepted. Accepted =Received? When they say received, do they mean they have accepted it?

When did you click on it? Was it after the 18th? Does it still say incomplete? If you clicked on it after submission, it resets your clock to get your IV fee.

Can you tell me if we can go ahead with our medical before the case complete? If the medical is good for 6 months then we are comfortable scheduling it for a few months from now, we should be close to a CC then and we'll both be in London on our way to Belgium for our much needed time together.

I do not ever recommend getting a medical before Case Complete! You never know what can happen with these jokers!

Edit: Knightsbridge isn't backed up with scheduling either, my husband's medical was a week after he scheduled it, so there's really no point in rushing.

It's not recommended to complete the medical prior to your case arriving in London after interview assignment. You want your documents to already be there because Knightsbridge forwards your results directly. Having a case to match them to minimizes chances of things getting misplaced. Also remember that you have to enter the US within 6 months of your medical date or have another medical performed, as it has to be valid at POE.

At least you're planning on sharing! We have a king sized bed and I swear we only use a twin bed worth of space together. He definitely steals all the blankets for himself though

Funny story, the first time I stayed at Graham's, apparently I was hogging the blankets. He wakes me up at 3am "Oi blanket hog", took some blanket and went back to sleep!

Ohh that's rough!! I hate the "going dark" periods before something big happens. Even when we were just on planes heading to visit each other, any block of time I'm a) not asleep b) not allowed to talk to him is really hard. I hope you can get some rest!

I think I might go for a run tonight, if I exert myself and make myself tired that might be the only way I'll sleep. Or, I'll just be a zombie tomorrow.
