I-130 transferred to local office in SF? Is that a new thing?
-
Congratulations!
-
From the looks of it, doesn't seem like we're getting anything till Jan, unless your file went to CSC you can hope to get something before then

I was pretty pissed off before. Now I've reached a zen-like calm. I think I'll call back tomorrow. I wonder how much money I can waste in phone calls before I get an approval.
I wonder how much I've wasted already? I mean, if they just gave out real and/or accurate information in the first place, they'd probably save themselves a lot of pissed off phone calls.
You had a really frustrating experience. All the customer service reps are there to give you "false encouragement" just as much as they can to cover up all the mess USCIS is in and have bin causing us to be in. I just really hope they do something soon or at least tell us what stage our case is at!

its still early out there.. wait a little more....
Approvals get emailed at all hours. you could get it at 11pm....
yeap its currently 4:52 pm in Cali

Dammit my VJ estimate says today was my last day get adjudicated...well the estimate one...now...hopeless again since even that date has passed..
-
ETA: Should we include proof that he had a return ticket to Ireland, therefore providing evidence that he didn't come over here just to marry me?
You can add it in, also maybe at a note explaining the situation. Although it is up to the adjudicator what he thinks of it and if he will accept it. Send anything you think may cause a confusion or question, although its up to the adjudicator what they make of it.

I also called a Tier 2 yesterday, wasn't helpful at all!! Told me to just WAIT

Everything looks good, are all your documents in English? Otherwise you may need the original document (in foreign language) and also a translated version.

Initial Review
On December 17, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
That is the 2nd time they chane the A number ,anyone have the same situation . Please let me know
Transfered to CSC 12/02
Hmm usually an approval may be coming, although not sure why your A number was changed twice.

Congrats recent Approvals! Hope we all get something before the holidays, something to look forward to and have a big burden taken off our chests...

Wow
Ur file got transferred on nov 14 and still waiting.
Mine made it to NSC on dec 12.
So I have a very long wait.
This sucks.
Yeah, pretty hard to keep my hopes up when there doesn't seem to be much action from NSC. I'm just betting that...they will surprise us with a load of approvals before Christmas...who knows...hah
Mine was transferred on Nov. 7th to NSC, and I still haven't heard anything. Plenty of people after me have gotten approval, but most people right around my PD and transfer date haven't heard anything. I think someone is using our boxes as door stops or something.
Wow, that was before me, and your a March Filer. I don't even know whats going on. Mid April Flers are getting approvals, While April 1 and 2 are no where to be seen on VJ
Hope you get your NOA2 soon. It's so hard to just wait around and enjoy the holidays...just waiting..
the lonely holidays...

UGGGGH NSC!! MOVE IT UP!
-
It has already been so long!
Why request RFE's of things already sent in
-
Seems like CR-1 is the best option for you right now, although be aware that it is not a fast process at all, as of now.
-
Hope this week bring many approvals!
-
Maybe K-3 visa? It may be more expensive in the long run though.
-
I am not sure but I think if you cannot do DCF, filing the CR-1 is the same from anywhere, it just has to reach the USCIS office. Right now CR-1 is taking a long time and there is a lot of backlog. Also, do you have domicile in US? CR-1 is not the fastest option right now. I have been waiting for over 8 months and not NOA2 yet.

Seems like CSC and TSC are spiting out approvals on VJ. NSC is seems to be...sleeping

marriage contract, the birth certificate ,certificate of being US citizen of my son, and in our application they can see that we are leaving in Kuwait together. Pictures of us. Now we are waiting for the letter and see what they are asking for evidences. Actually my hubby is here with me in Philippines for one month vacation. How about you
Hmm I wonder what the rfe is for. Hopefully its something you have and can turn in soon. After receiving a rfe, sometimes approval is quite quick.
I sent in marriage certificate, pictures, affidavit regarding marriage, photocopies of visas when we traveled together. Yup.
-
Thanks a lot. I received an email today..it was RFE ..i dont know what they need more..we live in Kuwait together for 1 1/2 years..we had a onee year and 4 month old son..what else to prove a genuine marriage? Goodluck to you too..
What evidence did you initially send in?
-
Can the packages be sent from abroad or does it have to be from within the US?
Doesn't matter where the package is sent from; NVC just needs to receive it.Will I receive XXXX (initial information package, invoices, instructions, interview letter, etc) by email or snail mail?
As long as you give over the email addresses of both the petitioner and beneficiary (once you have a case number), ALL correspondence from NVC will be sent through email. This does not necessarily mean that YOU can send THEM information by email though. Only those eligible for EP (electronic processing) can email the AOS and IV packages.Source: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/468369-nvc-filers-december-2013/
You can send papers to NVC from anywhere, they will contact you by email. Also, the form DS-230 is no longer used, it is the DS-260 and DS-261.

hope this helps!

Yeah you may have a right, but it doesn't mean they will do anything about your case. They told so many people about the "60 days". They might just point you to the "Processing Time" and tell you to wait some more.![:clock: ClockWatch2.gif](http://static-forums.visajourney.com/public/style_emoticons/default/ClockWatch2.gif)
They seem to "do" their job when they "need" to, they have the potential to work faster, such as when expediting cases from the Philippines....otherwise....they take their sweet time...no pressure...![<_< dry.png](http://static-forums.visajourney.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png)
