Like other have said you'd probably be better just moving on. He left you, he's with someone else, there is no fraud in that.

I had no records either - however - you can ask your GP to take bloods and see which antibodies you have.
Yup that's why I did too. I brought the results of my blood tests to my medical

We received a RFE for not providing both years, we only gave last one. Got all fixed soon after we sent it out

If it's been that long and you have no idea what is going on, I'd fire the lawyer... You can call USCIS yourself and see what is going on. Best of luck

Just curious, for people that received the new card, how long from 'New card is being produced' to receiving it? Thanks
-
what was the RFE about ?
They wanted more common financial liability information
-
We received an RFE a few weeks ago, while we thought we had provided plenty of evidences I guess they wanted more. We hurried to gather everything we could think of to add and sent it out.
I was expecting a reception receipt this week and instead my status just changed to 'New card is being produced'. We thought the RFE(first one we got in the whole process) would have added a few months, so it was a big(and pleasant) surprise!

The interviewer will be more interested to know about your travels to see your current Fiancee. Past travels won't matter

DONT USE LAWYERS FOR CHRIST SAKE!!!!
Comments like yours bring nothing good to the discussion and doesn't help the OP. It's a personal choice and is kind of rude of you to laugh at him and scream. Everyone is different and has different circumstances

We waited 8 weeks after NOA2 to finally have NVC receive and process our case(from California SC), but once the finally said they received it, they processed it and sent to Sydney the day after. I have no idea what the delays were, I'm guessing our papers were sitting on a desk somewhere. In all of our K1 process this bit was the longest for us. Everything else was pretty fast

We did the same, we got married the day after I arrived so we could fill for aos asap then had a big party with friends and family a few months after. You know, even if it was just us and a friend to witness, and we both went dressed in jeans, it still was a very special day, best day of my life.

Almost a week after I have received my green card, I just got a status update that my EAD/AP is being produced. lol
-
I was sent a date, but like razpaz says, you have to reply to email to confirm, or ask to change date.
-
you don't really need it per say in terms of what process is to come, but I would inquire about it if I was you. It's a proof they have received ans are processing your application. Did you receive email and/or sms?

my mom brought us a woolen blanket when she came visit a few weeks ago, there were no issues

I received my green card last Friday . My EAD was still at initial status, I never received it, seems like the i-485 process was faster

Your fiance must provide the I-134. Is she doesn't work you can get your father in law to co-sponsor. As kittythecat said, you will not be bale to work right away, not legally

Hi,
I'm a month ahead of you and Anchorage is my local office as well. We did our biometrics on May 12. We only received the letter, no other form of communication (and we signed up for email and text notifications). Of course our status hasn't changed at all on the site either, so their electronic notifications aren't all that reliable.
I'd recommend calling them and getting your new address into the system ASAP. Things have moved rather quickly for us. We got our interview appointment scheduled the same week we had our biometrics done. Since I'm a month ahead of you, you could very well be looking at a biometrics appointment in just a few weeks with a possible interview a few weeks after that (if it's similar to our timeline).
Thanks for the info. My address has been changed in the system last week, I'm however not sure if the appt. letter has been sent before I did. I called and they didn't want to do much about it until it has been 30 days that they have received the application. My issue is that we don't get mail delivered to our house and I wasn't sure if I could put the PO box address. So I put in the home address but in the front letter indicated that they have to send letters to my PO address, but they didn't. I only got paper receipt for the employment authorization at my PO address. I changed address to PO box, hopefully on time, if not next week I'll call again to chase this up
Is there a way to contact Anchorage directly? I'm not finding a phone number. Thanks

I was wondering , for the biometrics appt, do they send an email as well, or just a letter in the mail? I'm asking because I had to make an address change, and I wouldn't get it if it was sent to what they had.

Good luck!

You're just starting out the process, you might want to relax a bit, or you'll have a heart attack before it's over

For Canada, you can get a police certificate through the mail, as long as you get your fingerprints officially taken at a police station where you currently live:
The issue with doing this with paper fingerprints is that the process time is many months, like up to 5 months. I was in Australia and needed one, you can't do the digital fingerprints when out of canada with rcmp, best way if out of the country is to deal with a 3rd party approved by the rcmp to do this. first go get you fingerprints taken at a local police station with the correct form for the rcmp, and send it out to the 3rd party , they deal with the rcmp, and you can get the 3 days processing time for digital prints. I did this and it was very fast , no troubles at all. I dealt with www.fingerscan.ca but there is others
"Married" in a same-sex ceremony but not recognized by PI GVT - ok to go through with K1 (split topic)
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

Well when I entered on K1 we then had to marry in a state where same sex marriage was recognized or it would not count. (that was right after DOMA was out, but before gay marriage was nation wide). So we had to marry in California then. I would guess that would be something similar. The marriage in the Philippines would just count as a ceremony, nothing legal.
