I lost my job last month, they just let me go, now can i claim unemployment or not? i am on conditional 2 year GC which expires in Dec and for which i will apply for a 10 yr GC in Sep. I am in NY state, queens, and was employed since Oct 06 after i recd my employment card?

My DH just got a lay off from his work, i was his sponsor on the AOS in 2006. I am planning to quit my job in July(hope he finds something then) if we both have no work can i apply for welfare? and also do we need a sponsor for lifting conditions? which we are applying in Sep.

If i am without work and he is having a job does he still require a sponsor? My baby is due Aug 3 and planning to go back in Oct if they keep me?

Any idea on this kinda situation!!!

we really luv this thread its a lot of info and the ones like us who are trying dont feel left out. we have been trying since 7/8 months but we never charted anything i have been to gyn and she did some tests and said that i was good. my hubby is gonna do his check next week. just praying all is fine here.
