I just finished my interview at Tokyo embassy and I am approved finally.

I cannot believe this long nightmare is almost over.

I just asked them an earlier date. I said I wanna fly by the end of Nov to see my husband and they accepted. It is not email, but the official request form on the website. Hope you can reschedule your date too, good luck!

There is a request form on the embassy website. But it is Tokyo embassy website and so it is only for people who take the interview in Tokyo. Hope you can change your date too:)! Good luck!

My interview date has been rescheduled from Dec 1st to Nov 25th:) I cannot wait!

does the priority date make any difference in getting the appointment? because my priority date is 7/26/2012, my case has been going on forever I never thought I would get to this point!!!

I'm gonna call Monday am and see if hubby's interview has been assigned for Jerusalem yet.

I think.australia and japan are taking the longestyou will be with all of us. . i am sure of that.

I just called NVC and the operator said he doesn't have my interview date yet. Hmm..I thought Tokyo embassy is not that busy since many people could change their interview date to the earlier date like 3-4 weeks, but they decide the interview date pretty late for us? Cannot wait!

Oh no that's because they do a second round of interviews around mid month. Sometimes it depends on the embassies, but I believe there are very selective ones.

I see. I hope we all receive the interview date this week:)

NVC schedules interview either the last two days of the month or the beginning two days of the following month. For this month they will either begin oct 30th, 31st OR nov 3rd and 4th.

I'd say to save yourself the trouble of being on hold for hours and wait until those dates.

Also, once they schedule your interview, you get the interview letter within 2 days. You won't have to wait for weeks to hear the good news, if you decide to not call them.

My Japanese friends received interview dates on Oct 17 for Oct 7/10 cc dates.

When I check CEAC it still says At NVC I'm going to wait a week (if I can last that long) and call again.

Just got off the phone with NVC, no interview date yet Don answered (who by the way is fantastic!! Nicest rep I've spoke to so far!)

He did tell me November is pretty done being scheduled and my interview will most likely be in December but no gaurantee!

Okay lets start predicting. With November being a few days short for Thanksgiving. I don;t think they will start scheduling next week. I think it will start maybe as early as Wednesday,

Many Japanese ppl who got cc on Oct 7-10 received an interview date on Oct 17. It seems taking 7-10days..

Like everyone else, I do wanna know the interview date so bad hehe.

Well from what i saw on the pages on this thread- people who got CC in September (15- 30 sept)got their interviews assigned between 30 sept - 6th october for the month of november. Their papers are in transit now..some have reached and some are getting there.

SO by that same rationale --- i think all CCs between 14 oct - 30 Oct will have our interviews assigned between 30 oct - 10 Nov for the month of December. and so i would assume that our paperwork will move out of NVC somewhere in the month of November (6-25 Nov). Till then we ALL have our paperwork at NVC even though we have CC's. . Which means we will NOT be leaving the "twilight zone" until middle november .

Oh don't be scared or nervous about that. I am sure you have a case complete. Your AOS fees went from PAIN to N/A right. Also you called up and confirmed it. You are in with us. LOL!!

I know of some cases where after the case complete they never got the email and directly got an interview date. Also you got a case complete on Oct 20----- so i would definitely wait till the 27 Oct to get that email.

I hope my case will be moving to the embassy in Tokyo soon.
