  1. waiting4i130 took care of that for you. :)

I hope you get the approval email next week since you're one of the earliest Oct filers. Fingers crossed!

BTW, you may want to fill out your timeline when you have a chance. Have a great visit in the US! :star:

Thank you for both of them!

And hey I am approved today!

    My husband received email!

On April 15, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

  2. Approved!

My son and I had a high five :)

I got the letter in the mail today, BUT the online status was never updated. The letter says that my husband was approved April 11th. Gee- COULD they have updated it and saved me the stress of the past 5 days? Also, the 129F (K3) as approved as well. Got both the letters at the same time. I'll just go with the I-130 route I guess.

People at the VSC, that's good news. It looks like they are moving on the approvals...and maybe some other people were approved at the VSC and don't even know it.

    NOA 1: 10/1

    NOA 2: 4/11

Your online status has not changed, but how about USCIS account? I mean maybe we can check our last update data on "my portfolio " page after log in. Has it not changed yet as well?

  3. Approved!

    Congratulations!

I am so happy for u!

But that is so weird she did not tell you about your approval when you talked to her.

Im shocked. They should work more seriously!

  4. So I called USCIS today and I did file a service request. I talked to the first person on the phone (tier 1) and the representative did it for me. She just asked me the normal info/ questions and confirmed that I was in fact out of processing time (my priority date is 10/1). There was no mention of waiting 60 days after the transfer or anything. She did it and gave me a reference number

I have no idea if the service request will make any difference, but hey, I tried. Can't hurt. Seems it did work for some people in the September group.

Heyyy, thank you so much for sharing:)!

Service request sounds great. I hope your case will be approved soon.

I told my husband about your story n he said he will try it too. Our PD is Oct7.

I have not heard from USCIS yet today. Please USCIS! Go go go!

  5. I hope so too! I know we have a small sample size here, but it really has seemed slow lately. Hoping for this week to better! Debating whether I should call for a service request since I'm now 6 months 2 weeks since NOA1 (obviously over the stated times)....but not sure if it's worth it because I still have 23 days to wait out of the 60 from the transfer.

When my husband talked to USCIS, they said we have not waited over the average yet:'(

  6. My husband called USCIS today from LA n he told them around our numbers people get NOA2 n even late of Oct filers are approved. But tgey told him it's just taking time.

I wanna cry. They are so unfair!

Also, my husband insisted that the avarage 5months(NSC) has passed, but they said it doesnt.

It was so quick they got $420 from us but after getting money their working speed has been so slow.

  7. LOL. Indeed :)

Hope that the remaining approvals come soon!!

I know it's hard to explain other people wt why we are not in the US yet :(...

Last week an acquaintance told me ( through Facebook) that she went to the US with her EU passport and then adjusted status, and everything took less than 3 months (from filing i-130 to getting a green card). A part of me was glad that she is with her husband and happy, but it upsets me that what she did was 'wrong' and the process was super easy for her...

During the interview she said that she went to visit her boyfriend an he proposed there and they decided to marry 'in a rush'....

I have heard similar cases before. She is lucky that she could get a green card in such a short time, but what she said to the interviewer was lies. We, who have been honest, have waited for getting a greencard for such a long time. Sometimes I feel life is not fair. But I believe that after this crazy visa process, we will be more happier than people who skipped the correct and honest process. We are strong:)

I hope next week will be our week! Come on NOA2!
