  1. My status has not changed yet, but I found that processing time of Nebraska is now 5months. It was 9.4months about a week ago n so I hope all of our cases will be approved soon. I think this 5months is what everybody had talked on this VJ. I was late to notice haha.

On another website, she received RFE from NSC. Her pd date is Sep30, n transferred to NSC on Mar5.

Im pretty worried that Im gonna receive RFE as well.

It's already Monday morning in Tokyo. I cannot wait to hear from good news from USCIS. But well it's still Sunday there hehe.

  2. Hi, Im from Japan n my NOA1 date is Oct7!

Have read all the comments here n glad to know there are some people who got transferred!

    Congratulations:)

I have checked my status everyday this week but haven't got anything yet.

My husband is already in LA n I hope ourcase will be transferred to California center.

I hope all the Oct members will get transferred in March!

I've been to the US twice while applying I-130 already. Will visit again next month. I do hope to get NOA2 soon so that we dont have to spend extra money for the air tickets anymore. I do hate this immigration visa process.

  3. Hi everyone!

I have a question about the changing status.

My husband just sent I-130 last week, and we are now waiting for NOA1.

I found a nice school in the US, and hope to go with a student visa coz CR-1 takes tons of time.

My question here is "is it possible if I got a student visa while applying for I-130/CR-1, and enter the US? And then change the visa status?"

Japanese embassy said that the immigration at the airport may refuse my entering the US with a student visa because I already got married with American, and so they may think I will stay and live in the US illegally.

I do understand that but some people want to study in the US right?

If someone here have the experience like this, please share.

    Thank you!

  4. Thank you so much for your advice!

Yes he's still with me in Japan until the middle of Nov.

He got a job in the US which starts from Dec, n so will move there before my visa is approved.

DCR? I am sorry but could you tell me what it is?

Also, do we need to send my passport copy and his birth certificate?

    Thank you!

    Oh, DCF!

Thank you so much for the link!

  5. Hi everybody!

We got married in Aug 2013, and will move to Los Angeles soon.

My American husband have lived in Tokyo, Japan for 5years.

My husband is going to send I-130 to Chicago today,

and we are still worried about our documents.

We will send the documents as below:

    1 G-1145

    2 cover letter

    3 money order $420

    4 G-325A(American)

    5 one passport type photo(American)

    6 I-130

    7 G-325A(mine)

    8 one passport type photo(mine)

9 a copy of American passport

10 certification of our marriage with American embassy stamp

11 pictures n some other stuff for proving our marriage

Our question here is if we need to send as below:

    1 a birth certificate(American)

    2 a copy of Japanese passport(mine)

This visa processing is a hard work, and I am confused a lot.

Anyone could you tell me the answer please?

Thank you so much for reading my topic!

    Sincerely,

    Iku
