  1. I whole heartedly agree with your sentiments!!! We were transfered on 02/10, still haven't received transfer hardcopy! No mail delivery since last Wednesday because of all the damn snow in Maryland!

And the lull on the tranfers this past week.. its no fun for all the members still waiting for a transfer!

I want the weather to start behaving and USCIS to start moving their butts!

Oh wow, you were transferred a week ago!! Time for your approval then dancin5hr.gif Forget about hardcopy, some here get approved before receiving hard copy! I hope that happens in your case goofy.gif

My PD is 21 August and no transfer yet for me... It's so frustrating looking at the spreadsheet with no updates cray5ol.gif

You're in Maryland! I'll be in Virginia, we're practically neighbors! Yes yes USCIS move ya butt!

  2. It may be regional, but I know that in Honduras they will accept self certification- I was told that by the local office here USCIS -- I should be careful in dispersing info-- it probably does depend on WHERE.

    btw-

its driving ME NUTS!!! so darn close

Oh tell me about it! I stare at the spreadsheet as if willing it to somehow magically change! Hahaha...

  3. I'm so sorry you feel this way. It must be a terrible place to be in. I know many of us here on VJ look up to you and your strength in fighting to make this process shorter and more bearable for us all. And we truly appreciate all your effort. Perhaps all that work is taking a toll on you and you're burnt out. Three years apart is a lot. I'm not much of an advice giver, but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and many people feel like throwing in the towel at many times. The frustrations get to us all. I will be praying that God help you figure out the best thing to do in this situation. God bless you. *Big virtual hug to you*

  4. This Friday we will get our transfers! goofy.gif I was looking at your timeline and it says August 26th not August 21st. What is the correct one? I hope we are going to celebrate this Friday....Best of luck!

Ops... sorry! I thought I'd changed that, but I apparently did not. My PD is August 21 but the notice was dated August 26. I didn't know the difference when I created the profile so I used the notice date instead. I've changed it (again!) Hope it's captured this time.

Yes!!! Friday!!! Best Valentine's Day gift EVER!!! dancin5hr.gif

  5. I so understand how you feel. It truly sucks and I can relate to the 'dying of envy' part when you see other couples! I've become sort of a recluse myself, opting to stay home rather than go out and socialize. My husband over in the US is the same! It doesnt help that we have a 13 hour difference between us, which makes talking on the phone or Skyping (other than the weekend) almost impossible! I wish I could reach through cyberspace and give you a big hug! But hang in there is all I can say. And pray, trusting that God will make this entire process swift and smooth!
