  1. Hello everyone!

I have not posted in awhile BUT my interview has FINALLY been scheduled. I applied in February and my interview will be on 10/28/2020. I am really nervous about the test. I'm studying but for those who already passed...is it like the app where you have multiple choice answers or is the officer going to ask the questions? I'm scared I won't remember the answers.

I randomly decided to check the uscis account today. It says as of today:

I never expected this to be so fast! Now to keep an eye on the mail to find out when this is, no document uploaded yet with the date.

    Awesome Congratulations!

The Civics test is changing again.

Only December 2020, January 2021, and February 2021 filers will take the new version of the test.....and will have the option to take the previous version. Any interviews after April 19th will have the old version of the test.

They also are reverting to only asking as many questions as needed to pass (i.e. if you get your first 6 questions right, they won't continue asking)

    That's awesome!!!

  4. Congrats to Jewell. Hopefully you'll get the card soon enough and be hassle free. ????

I got my RFIE yesterday for the I-864.

They're asking for proof of the petitioners income, which we'll send

Second point is all the supporting documentation for the most recent tax year (I didn't include the W2 because we didn't have it at the moment of sending it)

The third one is the one I'm curious. They're asking for assets/joint sponsor. Now in the first checked mark it says that the income listed is sufficient, but there's no proof of that. And I know they have standard check marks to write/ask for. My curiosity is: if we send proof of income and the supporting tax documents, we wouldn't have to send/look for a joint sponsor. I saw similar posts but the people got joint sponsor anyway. We don't need one. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks ?

    Thank you!

  5. Wow congrats Jewell London!!!

Okay we planned on going to the USCIS office in Charleston SC today and then I found out that the Army base in Columbia provides a biometrics service, so we went there and we were done in 10 minutes :content: One step closer.. Now we have to start organizing our home and packing our stuff because we are moving from South Carolina to Oregon within a few weeks.

    Thank you!

  6. Oh wow, how awesome is that!

Secretly, I was wishing I'd be one of the fast ones without any extras ? (not like my status is making any progress ?) but I guess nobody can beat you at this point! ?? (....so jeleous!!!) ??

Thanks !Everybody in here is happy for me yet I still can't believe it! I need to have the card in my hands to realize if it is indeed true.
