You have predicted for me today and it worked ... :D Thanks Mate you de best !

  2. 60 days after transfer. I called and told the same "Wait 180 days before inquiring. The Nebraska Service Center is currently processing March 3rd petitions"

I was denied the request to speak with a Tier 2. Like I can't read a ***** website.

Any June filer's from Arizona, this may help...

Senator McCain's office has been getting flooded with inquiry requests and they also are behind (about a week) in submitting inquiries.

Was told that at the first stage (up to 5-6 months) they hold the petition before transfer. Second stage for processing and Nebraska has been taking on average about 3 months. Currently 2-3 months at the NVC. Then about 2-3 weeks to arrive at the Consulate/Embassy... She said she would be happy to submit the inquiry and that of course this is just a generalized time frame. She will email/mail me a response to the inquiry. Very pleasant to work with, but very busy.

Senator Flake's office sounded less busy and was also very happy to help. "Yes sir. I submitted a senate inquiry that afternoon and currently awaiting a response from USCIS. As soon as I receive a response to it, I will most certainly email/mail the information to you."

    Congresswoman Kirkpatrick's office...Not so much tongue.png

"I don't have your request in our system yet, but it usually takes about a week or two to show up. I can check the fax box if you like and give you a call back?" Never mind that I had to submit a request online, print it out and fax it to their office...which I did a week ago tongue.png

    Anyhow, thought I would share...

Also new processing times are posted

    Goal: 5 months,

    Average: 8.3 months,

Nebraska a speedy 9 months [as of 11/30/13]

Nebraska is working on April 5, 2013 petitions [as of 12/31/13]

Watching these processing times is like watching the DOW Industrial Average!

Good Job, Thanks for Sharing ....

  3. Why do I think these things? I am so lonely and desperate. I don't want to leave my wife. But I don't want to stay with her either. Why does the US government do this to their own citizens?????????????

    The Dude,

If you love some one, then have a courage to face the consequences, Loving someone is easy to be with the person you love and facing the issues are different thing, if you love her then keep loving her and bring her here and start your life, things get better, day by day ... keep the Faith ...

  5. Unfortunately, for this group of filers, it seems to be pretty "normal." (Nothing is normal about that kind of a wait!)

It seems like what has happenned is that everybody was backed up like this, and all the offices were slowly slogging through the backlog. NSC got a ton of the early transfers, and maybe was not as experienced in processing this kind of files (it seems as though they weren't processing them at all before) and got REALLY bogged down.

Then early this year, it looks like they changed the gameplan. NSC and TSC (who had the majority of the remainder of the backlog) kept working on the older files, at their glacial pace, and CSC started getting new petitions and processing them right away.

So what we have now is one office working ahead (and I'm sure that has nothing to do with improving their average times) and the other two offices working to catch up. But they're still pretty slow. Picking up speed, but still slow.

It has caught Apr/May/June filers in the middle, still waiting while July and Aug filers are being approved. It really sucks, and as much as I personally (October filer) will probably get some advantage from this (heck, they might actually be caught up by the time they get to me) - I can't imagine how frustrating it is for the early filers still languishing away in NSC/TSC with no relief in sight.

Big virtual hugs to all of you and hopes for speedy approvals and flying through NVC and Embassy stages!!!

Well Said .... ! same feelings same thinking .. mine is june 3rd 2013 NSBC ...... one day I will do visit NSC
