  1. Hello Jiya,

If you are having Nikah or Marriage(Ruksati) I would suggest take as much Pics as you can, and when registering your Nikah nama, also ask for English transcript of it right away, Take 3,4 photo copies of that Nikah Nama and Attest them with Goverment officer, also ask your Husband to be to to make his passport and pics ready . and when you go to Pakistan take the forms 1-130 and G325A , he can sign them and you can bring back with you and submit your papers it will save you heck lot of a time

Below is a link for more requirment for I130 form, have a look at it and gather all the requirment before coming back to US, it will help you submit your papers as early as possible

  2. Been trying to get through to NVC for over 2 hours now, and just getting a busy signal - anyone else?

2 months on and we are STILL waiting for our AOS to be approved. Desperate to speak to someone to find out what the hell is going on....

Are you calling in within USA when it is engaged try to call in again.. untill you get picked up just drop and redial drop and redial, it works

As fast you drop and redial as fast you will get the call connected ! but be sure you are in US when calling !

  3. ////False vs. Real Checklists

If you sent the packages, then get a checklist for one of them, just ignore it; it's a false checklist. The same applies if you sent just one of the packages and get a checklist for the other. Please understand that as soon as NVC reviews a package, they very frequently generate a checklist for the other package, without even checking if they have it in the building first.

The only time a checklist is real (and not false) is if it asks for something very specific missing in a package (like a police certificate, for example). If it asks for something general, like the entire package, then you can assume it's false. Call up an operator at NVC to confirm.////

    I Read this,

    God Bless You Sylin :)
