All you have to do now is wait for the case number from NVC. USCIS will send another update that they have send the approved petition to NVC. Once you have the MNL number, pay for the $240 (Philippine peso equivalent) fee at a BPI bank in the Philippines. Within 4 hours of payment you or your fiancee can schedule online for the interview. She can also start her medical at St Lukes once she have a confirmed interview date and fillout the DS160 form. For more info follow the guide here : http://visaconnection-philippines.com/# Good luck.

  2. I know that this has been asked and answered. But I just want to start a new thread about this topic for those people who are currently in this situation, like me.

I called NVC and they gave me the MNL case number for my fiancé. I asked him what's next and he told me that it is now all up to US manila embassy.

Our case was forwarded to manila on october 29, 2013. Until now we're still waiting for the us manila embassy to send us the invitation letter.

Its been a month and I'm already worried. Should we still be waiting for the letter or we can go on with the process already and get an appointment for interview?

Anyone who experienced this, please be patient with me and inform me with the step by step process that we should take.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

As already been said by another member you can make an appointment now for the interview right after the payment for BPI has been made. Follow this link ( thanks Hank smile.png ) for the next steps once you have the MNL number handy : http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

When she goes to pay at BPI make sure she brings her Philippine Passport . My fiancee was asked about it . Fortunately she brought it with her. I read from another post that another member was asked about it too. Good luck.

  3. When you call NVC they say up to 8 weeks. If you have not receive it by the 8th week mark call again . CSC is averaging about 5 weeks to send case to NVC and TSC is shorter. TSC usually will update the status that they have sent the approve case to NVC. Here is a response I got from them when I emailed them regarding our case :

    Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center has not received
your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Please scan and email your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action to
nvcresearch@state.gov. Type the receipt number in the subject line of
your email. We will contact USCIS on your behalf to find your petition.

If your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action does not indicate USCIS approved
your petition and sent it to the Department of State, please contact
    USCIS for a status update.

    USCIS Contact Information
    Telephone: 1-800-375-5283
    Website: www.uscis.gov

    Good luck.

  4. Okay, I'm just new here and I'm really really confuse right now thats why I need your Help!

So here it is: I received my NOA2 Oct 30, 2013. So 23 days passed I havent hear anything from NVC. So i tried calling them and they said that they didn't received my case from USCIS. So I called USCIS about that and they said that NVC will receive cases but they didn't process it for I129f. They will accept it and then gave them the case number and they will send it to the consulate where my fiance lives. So I ask them do they mean that my case is already in NVC is just that they didnt process it thats why they told me that they dont have it yet? And they said YES.

So today I've tried reading stuffs about this step and most of the people on their timelines was receiving notifications from NVC that they received, process the case number and on the way to their fiance's consulate. So how come USCIS keep on telling me that I will not receive any notifications from NVC.

And 1 more question smile.png After I get my case number. Do we need to scheduled an appointment for the interview? Or just wait till the consulate scheduled us for the interview? I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE YOU SUGGESTIONS!!!!

From what I have been reading, if your case was processed by the CSC, it is taking about 5 weeks before NVC receives and gives you a number. When you call NVC they will tell you it is taking 8 weeks but it is usually shorter than that. So just keep calling them until you get a case number. By the way since your beneficiary of the K1 is from the Philippines, that number will start with a 3 letter code MNL.

Once you get that MNL number, you don't have to wait for any letter from them to get an interview appointment. Follow these next steps by Hank : http://visaconnection-philippines.com/# . Pay for the visa interview at Manila Embassy and schedule the medical. And when you have the MNL number you can track here : https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? if the paperwork has been ship by NVC to the embassy. Usually takes about 3 days. Good luck.

  5. I just filed yesterday the K1 application. I know I am ahead of myself with these questions bit I have a worry on my mind, hoping you all can help!

I met my fiancee early September 2012 on Facebook, every chat log is gone, I deleted them being upset, (long distance relationships are not easy) my cell phone was a prepaid so no record of calls during that period, also lots of phone cards used, found that to be cheaper, I have travel 4xs this year once with my 9 year old to see him, I don't have an engagement ring, but we got tattoos instead of our names over our hearts as a simble of our commitment and engagement. I haven't met his parents yet or siblings, they live in Zimbabwe and he's in South Africa,

With just airline tickets and recent outrageous phone bills how can I prove to officers that this is a true and committed relationship?

Please help guide me on what to do!

Since you just filed the K1 yesterday you should start sending her cards and letters (make sure it has stamp of her post office showing receipt of these), save chat logs, save any phone call logs, gift receipt, emails from here on until her interview. Proof of ongoing relationship is important during the interview process. Another visit to her will be better. Take more pictures of you and her showing different places at different times . Also having pictures with her family will be a plus. Good luck.

  6. I guess it depends on the availability of interview slots in consulates because until now even though we are from tsc and noa2 october 24 our case was not shipped to nvc as well.

I just booked my fiancee's interview at USEM online. Right now earliest available date is Jan 28 ( 4 slots available). I also saw whole month of February as well as March available. The dates I chose and the day I finally decided to schedule has about 20 slots open. I don't know if these available days just opened up and that means you will get your MNL # soon. :)

  7. We are following Hank's guide to setup my fiancee's interview and we are just confused as to what receipt number to use. My fiancee printed out the deposit slip for the $240 fee prior to going at BPI. She paid the fee and was given a receipt. Now what throws me off is what receipt number to use to schedule the interview. Is it the deposit slip that she printed that says "receipt number" ( about 9 digits) or the non descript BPI receipt that was given to her after she made payment. TIA.

  8. TSC

    NOA2 received 10/25

NVC just for it today 11/14

Did your status at TSC changed to indicate that they shipped your case to NVC? If yes when did they ship it. I have a notice date of 10/23 from TSC and got a text from TSC that they shipped our case to NVC on 11.8.13. However NVC has not receive our case yet. Thanks.

  9. I am gathering all the documents needed for my fiancee's interview. I have not schedule the interview yet since I am waiting for the MNL number from NVC. I got my divorced finalized from my ex wife back in January of 2013. For the tax year 2012 we filed as married joint as shown on the 2012 tax transcript. I am also including W2 from 2012 and will send a letter from my employer. Both our names appear on the transcript with my current home address. I am also sending a certified original copy of the final dissolution of my previous marriage. Will her name on the transcript and filing joint married present a red flag or issue to the consulate in Manila ?

  10. I got an email from the uscis saying that additional evidence is required !? I know I have to wait for the letter.

But my question is when I send the passport I only send the first page and two other pages showing the visa entry stamps , now should I have send all the passport pages so they know it's my picture !??? Or it could be something else ? I did not send photo but we did big party and I have pics ! I also send them the ring recipet . I went to Egypt two time in less than 4 month and I have stampes to prove it . ..........??? Just so worried and concern anyone like my case

It is hard to speculate what the RFE is about without the letter from USCIS. We got an RFE too for me forgetting to check a box on the I-129f... that delayed our approval by 3 weeks! The good thing is your case is being processed and it won't be long now before it is approve once you satisfy the RFE. As for the passport I sent every page of it . Good luck.

  11. HI GUYS,

I am firstimer here..and i am really needed help from the eexpert here too...

my petiton was approved on last october 21 and it was said that as soon as my petiton approved they will sent it to NVC..but until now it hasnt written in my case if they sent it already or not...

i was just wondering because as my friend case, she received notification that her papers were sent to NVC 3 days after her papers were approved!

    thank you...

Welcome! Give it some time from the time the petitioner receives the hard copy of the NOA2 approval. Call the NVC number found here : http://visaconnection-philippines.com/# . CSC seems slow at forwarding the papers to NVC from what I have read in this forum. My cousin who also filed a petition for K1 and has the I-129f processed by CSC just got the MNL number last week after 5 weeks of waiting.

  12. Oh, and one other question. On the I-129F Supplement page I needed to have a few things on it. There wasn't room for my fiancee's address, so I had to include that twice, and then I have 34 a. regarding how we met. My question is if I should put all of the supplemental answers for this form on one page or should I put the part of how we met in person on a separate page by itself?

This is how I did ours... on 34a I typed: First meeting xx-xx-xxxx. Second meeting xx-xx-xxxx. See attach paper marked as I-129f. Then on the attach paper I dated it and explained how and when we met as well as how our relationship started. Then I signed it at the end. Just a small paragraph .

  13. Hi everyone. I'll start out by saying again how great this forum is. I have tried to call the help-line and as I'm sure many of you know, it's not much help at all! Almost impossible to even talk to a person.

I have a question as I work on the I-129F and showing proof of the ongoing relationship. We have communicated daily mostly via Viber (an app that allows chat and calls), Facebook, and Skype. My question is, what is the best way to show proof of that? After exporting the conversations and call history from Facebook, Viber and Skype, and editing them to be a smaller print and in two columns, I still have nearly 500 pages of conversations. Should I print that and send it all? I'm thinking that might be a detriment since I know we want to make it as convenient as possible for the people that approve things, but does anyone have any insight as to how I would want to handle this?

Also, if we really are only able to communicate online and through calls and video, are there other things I might be missing to show that we have an ongoing relationship? I could show the few conversations I've had with her siblings, and receipts from gifts I've sent her if those would help.

    Thanks!

You don't need to submit the proof of ongoing relationship at this stage but it does not hurt to front load your petition especially if the beneficiary is from a country where there is a high rate of visa fraud. For the I-129f stage all USCIS is asking is proof of meeting within the last two years.

If you are submitting Facebook or Skype chats, don't submit everything. Hand picked a few, those that shows a loving relationship between both of you. Other things you can submit are gift receipts, email logs, pictures of you together (including pics of you and her family), greeting cards. Good luck.
