You are fine, file AOS as soon as you are able to. As long as you marry within 90 days after entering, you can file AOS shortly thereafter.
-
Wow that was quick, congratulations!!
-
Sorry your drive out was a little harsh, it's beautiful now. Good luck on your AOS approval!
-
They will mail it to both, but it takes a very long time to get to address in Mexico. I received packet 4 a few days before appointment, the address my hubby had in Mexico they received it 5 weeks after appt.

I am stressed about all this. Now, should we efile for EAD, will it still take 3 months, or should we just wait to see if we get GC?
-
Thank you, Kez. I think I will apply for AP and if he needs to go I will then make in infopass appt.

We applied for AOS in December but did not foresee any of the situations that we are now in. My husband is not able to drive, because he needs his EAD or Greencard to get a Drivers License.
More serious situation, is that we found out his father has been diagnosed with cancer, and it is too advanced. My husband may have to leave the country.

We are also in Kansas City, hope you hear something good soon.
BTW Terrible weather we are having, isn't it?
-
Congratulations, good to hear you are approved!!
-
Try Bank of America, they will open an account for you. I know what you mean about being stuck in limbo status, my hubby can't get driver's license until he receives his greencard they will not accept anything else.

That is some confusing language they use, hope you get your Document OTHER THAN CARD, soon! Oh yeah, and by the way you may want to have your case number blocked. Good Luck!!

What a wonderful interview! Congratulations to you!

I want some action, too! Even if it is just being tossed around.
-
Congratulations!!

Congrats britty!! and Congrats to you shermike!!

Congratulations!!

It's kinda confusing to tell what your status is, have you updated your timeline? You don't have a signature either.
-
I think it was just a misunderstanding, minda. Your fiance has his visa and is already in the US, right?
-
Oh my! So they just forgot to order the card? Wow!
Well Hopefully, you will get it straightened out next week and you will have the card soon, I'm glad for that, at least now they are doing something. Sorry, you have to wait till next week.
-
I don't know the answers, but someone will come along that may help you. How long have you been out of status for?
-
I've got a tatoo of a fish, is that cruel? I'm a Pisces.
-
It is cruel, I don't agree with that.
-
I am almost sure you can send copy of the NOA1 for I-130 with our 485 package, just explain that it is in Nebraska, if they need it they will transfer it, but I think everything will be okay.
What is there other then the green card?
