Congratulations Kaffy!!!

Congratulations Jackson1975!
We recv'd the GC today with a big typo, my husband has two last names Albert (paternal last name) (maternal last name) well his name on the GC is wrong they have it as: Albert (maternal last name) when in his ead is Albert (paternal last name). It looks like we will have to send it back w/I-90 form.

Congratulations on today's approval, I agree with you Kaffykat it is nice to see the older ones getting off the list, your daughters approval will come soon! Good luck!
FYI to all that have not been touched in a long time, Mine hadn't been touched since jan 20th until approval.

It seems like the approvals have been coming in waves, I bet all those new employees are the reason for it. Anyways thanks for the congrats, we really needed this.
My husband's father is terminally ill and now my hubby can go see him in Mexico, we did not get AP, but over the past week my father in law has gotten sicker. Thank God, this could not have come at a better time!
Good luck to all those still waiting.

Guess what? I am still in shock!

Read press release at the uscis.gov website, might explain some.
-
Explain everything to the CO at the biometrics appt. they may be able to do your wife's fingerprints at the same time as well. The best way to fix this problem sometimes is just going to the local office, the "mis-info line" hardly works.
-
CRIS sent me 2 emails in the last half hour letting me know they received my RFE reply and my case processing has resumed. Hopefully an approval email soon!
How exciting, you will be approved soon!!!

Why not do the aos for the son, incase he does change his mind again and decides to stay or go for a while and then come back he will already have his greencard. If he decides not to AOS now, it will be difficult later. He will need another visa to come in and perhaps wait a very long time to be able to adjust to residency status.

When I had a lawyer during k-1 app process they sent to wrong service center, but when there was correspondence i recv'd copy and my attorney sent me a copy incase i didn't get from uscis. I asked for all originals when I fired her, before k-1 approval, and I did AOS app all by meself.
-
It won't be long now, kaffykat, I honestly think they probably sent your daughter's to storage realized their mistake when they approved the other AOS, and just then started processing. Ours was transferred twice and pending twice, have not heard anything for 5 months.

Terrible songs stuck in your head.
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round................
Could not help but tease, anyways, nothing new with our AOS have not been touched since Jan.
-
Our AOS hasn't been touched since Jan 20, either, I did get an email confirming it is still going through the dreaded namecheck.
-
Hubby's stuck he has 2 last names, one of them is very common.
-
Congratulations Masterpiece.
-
Congratulations!!
-
Congratulations, I'm glad we are getting some approvals on some of the older CSC transfers.
-
I'm waiting as well, no touches on aos since jan20. I was informed name check was not back in early March.
-
I've actually thought about that theory also but I think it was because alot of people have been fast approved that have pd for their EAD and AP as well. They just happened to get their GC before their EAD and AP.
-
Thank you, it seems like it has taken so long and it is not over yet, but at least now we are getting somewhere!
I'm glad I've got my friends here at VJ to see me through.

We went to Missouri DMV and he actually got his Driver's license something that we have been trying to do since he got here last summer. I am so glad, I was soooo tired of driving all the time. Today he drove and we went to Hooters! to celebrate.
The DMV would not give him the license without his EAD, and he is not that fluent in English, but he managed! He memorized all the signs and meanings in English, and the trooper that went on the driving test with him was very nice and patient. He explained he did not understand everything she was telling him she said it was okay she would make signals for him. He passed! what a relief, one less thing to worry about!

For Texas I am not sure, you will go through the DORA program. Someone will come along to give you an answer.
