you dont file the waiver at the interview, you send it to the appropriate lockbox here (the address is on the 601 form). you go to the interview, they will give him a blue sheet that says if he is approved/denied and then if and which waivers he is eligible to file and if it can be filed now or if he has a i.e. 5 year ban or something similar. when you send in your waiver package send in the blue sheet they give him at the interview also.

did you ever call NVC?

did you file the i-130 alone or with any other forms? your age/work status does not matter in adjudication time of the i-130, however have you or your attorney made an inquiry request?

Congratulations on the approval! From what I hear once the waiver is approved it's just follow up basic updating information with the interview and medical so I think the hardest part is now over.

I would take the information up there. You can always make a simple cover letter i.e. see attached evidence as to my request for an expedite., however, i have heard of people taking the information up to the local office in an orgainzed manner so the officer(s) know what they are looking at and usually they can assist with getting the expedite in the system or letting you know what and where to send the evidence to. If you have a doctor letter from Mexico, get it translated also.

Have you made an info pass appointment to go to your local uscis office yet with the medical information? You can just take the information there along with your receipt no., etc.

I would say help her get an immigration attorney here in the US to see if they can help clean her record to make her eligible for re-entry.

Call NVC, initiate communication with them.

My husband got a non-secured credit card from Capitol one with a $500 credit limit. After a few months of paying that he was able to get a car loan without a co-signer.
This is great advice and really easy to do. It works!

Should I bring all cash or just my debit card for my fiancés interview in juarez? I will be paying for everything. and does anyone if I can use my card anywhere else besides just the consulate?
When my husband went he used our bank of america debit card with no issues there at any places he went. good luck.

If he wants to adjust here he needs to do an i130 and then a provisional waiver i601a if he plans to adjust status in his country he needs to leave then his petitioner whether it be fiancé or spouse needs to petition for him with an i601 waiver when it is the appropriate time. The other site immigrate2us has a lot on both waivers depending on how and where he wants to adjust.

you are just going to have to wait to receive the rfe, it could be anything really no need to worry now. just be happy it is finally getting worked on.

i have never sent in any fancy pressboard with my documents, just organized but no folders or anything.

i have heard that they are backed up on them and that they are taking closer to 8 months right now to process. you are way ahead of me, i am September 24 filer so we still have a long wait ahead of us. i know that some days they process an april 19 filer and a march 2 filer on the same day, lets just hope it starts to pick up again like before when they would process them within 4 months. sometimes, criminal issues make them take longer and i212's can make them a little longer wait also, luckily i dont have either of those with mine. i am optimistic that it will pick up the pace again, just not sure when that will happen.
-
the only good i see in this is that April 2 is better than Aprl 1.

Call uscis to see where your file is, also call nvc and see if you can email them your approval notice. Don't wait for them to call or contact you, be persistent and find your file. Have your spouse make an info pass appt if necessary also.

Laurel Scott in houston tx is pretty popular, her number is 713-467-5800. a lot of people on immigrate2us page use her.

My fiance and I started applied for the K-1 visa. We thought we could do it ourselves! But we decided we neeeeed an attorney! But he made some calls and they told him that since the best process already started they won't take it!! #######! We only did the first step! :// HELPPPP!!
I am thinking that the case may be that since you already filed for the K-1 there is not really anything you could hire an attorney to do right now. however, once and if you receive a denial then you could find an attorney and they could step in and assist you. most likely, i think you will be fine until you get to the interview then you will probably have to file a waiver for unlawful presence. Some people do all of this without an attorney and some hire one.

i did both, sent in the G-1145 and created an online account. that phrase you are referring to is if you create multiple online accounts using the same receipt number, then they may be deleted. but you can sign up online also.
