Decided to go for it on my own with my wife. She gave me her passport information and just went through the process at the immigration visa link. I guess everything went ok because at the end it had her appointment information listed. By the way you also need the confirmation number from your DS-260. Hope this helps someone

    My prayers were answered.
My congressman office just called and said that my application was approved. They said the NVC was so nice and that the only hold up was that my wifes Taiwan police clearance was cut off at the bottom of the page to the top of the next page. So basically nobody wanted to take accountability if something went wrong down the road. wow if I had know this I would have gotten my congressman office involved 3 months ago. Good luck to everyone and don't be afraid to take action.

Hang in there! Ive been waiting forever also. We are in the home stretch now. I can't wait to be with my wife. The real head scratcher is why are Fiance visas processed so much faster than marriage visas. It makes no sense whatsoever other than economic sense. Just my $.02.
    Good luck to everybody.
    scan date October 14.

Congrats on your case complete and interview date. When was your last scan date if I might ask? My wife and I got an scan date of Oct 14 for her IV docs. Everything else was submitted and completed. I am hoping for a late January interview.
As for the medical. I read that too that it takes at least 3 business days for your medical to process. What a money grab for the city of Montreal. The only way to avoid it is if the spouse lives in Toronto or Montreal. My wife is in Saskatchewan so we are in the same boat. I would call the medical lab in Montreal and ask them for all the information. As soon as we get our case complete I am calling them to get an updated story. Why can't they just send the results themselves to the embassy? I know so citizens wouldn't have to pay for at least 3 more nights and expenses in Canada.
It seems like everything in this process is fluid. So who knows by now it might be 7 business days (being sarcastic).
Good luck to you on your interview and married life in the States.

    Hi Dualie,
I see we are close to the same timeline. And you posted to my topic about CDN dollars so thanks for that. I hate to possibly be the bearer of bad news but I think your email package has to be less than 5MB in order for it to be accepted at NVC. I hope I am wrong but thats what is says at the NVC website and according to Saylins info. Maybe it is OK if you send multiple emails, But I hope I am wrong. I would double check this because to wait another 60 days for a checklist is ridiculous. Anyways good luck.
