Hell Yea... it was 11 long months of my my life.. How could I forget ???? I really thought I'd be done with the NVC by now.....

its not so much receiving the case number as when the last package was scanned at the NVC,

I'm so angry because if they didn't check list me for my husbands birth cert ( they said its not the original...but it is) we would have had a CC on May 1st. they scanned the checklist package on May 8th and we are playing their stupid waiting game again...

Does anyone have an idea of what day they are processing ? Last I heard it was April 30th.( Wednesday) That seems to be a bit behind the norm... or am I going nuts? Is it too much to ask for them to review my frigging package by Friday this week? or am I dreaming again? Here comes another Holiday!!! Probably a skeleton staff on Friday as many people take off Friday to make it a 4-day weekend... Oh how wonderful for us.....

Keep your hopes up. They told me last Monday they weren't doing any other scheduling for June interviews, but I keep calling everyday anyway, and they haven't told me the same since. And when I ask they tell me their not sure if their done with June yet. My case was complete 4/30, I'm thinking they might use the left over people as fillers.

Really? In that case I'm gonna call again on Friday and ask if they are scheduling for June

We just called NVC for an interview date, but it hasn't been scheduled yet. They also told us that they have finished scheduling interviews for June now

I'll have to hope for a July interview now.

Looking at the case complete sheet, it appears that NVC hasn't scheduled any interviews for Pakistan after May 01. I wonder what's taking them so long

Yes call today. I would wait until 8 PM EDT or so. You never know they may complete it today. I called at around 9 PM EDT last night and was told that it was completed that day.

I called at 11:00 PM EDT on Friday and got connected after a 30 minute hold, but due to my stupid Internet connection, the operator couldn't hear me properly, so I had to drop the call. Now, there were just 30 minutes to go before the close of business hours at NVC, and I decided to try my luck,. I dialled in again, waited for 30 more minutes, and got connected. Got this really cool dude- Alex on the line and he told me that your case was completed today (on May 09).

I just couldn't believe my ears. I thanked him, and asked him if there's any chance I can get a June interview to which he said that they're still scheduling for June, but he can't tell me for sure if our case is going to make it. I told him that's okay

So relieved now. Thanks, guys!

Wow that is quite a long time! When you say received you don't just mean arrived in the building right, you mean scanned in to the system?

Every time we call for status, NVC just tells us that we received your Checklist response on April 23, but haven't reviewed it yet.

I dunno whether this means the documents have been scanned or not. Btw, the courier delivered the package on April 21. Any idea on this?

My last docs were scanned on the 22nd. Got a case complete yesterday. I think you are going to be soon. Hang in there.

You should experience minimal delay (12 -14 days to review) and then......CC coming soon...

Our AOS checklist response was received by NVC on April 23. I called yesterday, but no updates yet

today i called at 7am morning and hangout 7:20 with no answer Internet connection is 2g

voice connection very bad that's way I cant use any Internet free calls

You could try an Internet cafe to dial the number using Google Hangouts. You don't need a phone to dial using Hangouts. It works perfectly using a web browser on a PC.

I got case complete email April 30 and still don't have interview date yet i called them but waiting very long and it little bit expensive for minute

I don't know how busy bangladesh i thought it will be easy to get interview date for this country but not i am wrong

You can call the NVC number for free using Google Hangouts or the magic jack smartphone app.
