Nope. I just think NVC are picking up their pace now that the summer is over and the fees are more expensive. It also helps that they're sort of fixing their policies to review documents together and I just got lucky I guess. Electronic Processing might have helped a bit too since everything is in one email so nothing can be misplaced. But, thank you, I wish you a speedy journey too! Good luck

If you want to divorce him then simply divorce him and withdraw the I-864. End of story.
You aren't immigration and can not deport him neither can you call immigration to have him 'picked up' and returned like a fed ex package.

I've already said twice I am not judging her relationship.
For all I know he's been awful to her which is why she feels like this.
I'm replying to the comments about wanting to send him away and calling immigration.
(And now I see this is before she even tells/told him she wants a divorce)
    One cannot do that.
To call immigration on someone you brought over to marry not matter the circumstances is wrong.
If my husband did that to me no matter what I did would break me in half.
    Anyway.
You need to tell him you want a divorce, get a divorce lawyer, and withdraw your support.
Best bet is to call uscis and get information from them on what to do.

Just on what someone else said I work in the medical field and herpes cannot be cured it is mainly dormant and unless there is a flare up it will not show on any tests.
You still need to declare this as trying to deceive can lead to instant denial.

Thanks you guys for the replies, I read everything you said and while reading i felt really bad, I'm not gonna be away from my wife even for a fantastic job, I will stay with my wife, will tell her about my decision right now, being away will complicate everything, it's been a hard time on us and won't make it any harder...I've been thinking about it a lot, and it sound complicated, so I'm staying with my love...

Hi everyone, i'm sorry to butt in, but would this not raise red flags with immigration if he moves 6 hours away from the person he received the visa to be with, his wife, in the first place? I'm not trying to judge your situation by any means, I was just concerned that going to a job interview the same month you arrive six hours away from your spouse, who you are there on a CR1 visa for, would cause major immigration issues? Correct me if i'm wrong, but you do have to do an Adjustment of Status interview at some point, right? How would you explain immediately taking a job offer six hours away and only visiting your wife, the U.S. Citizen, on the weekend?
Personally, I would avoid the out-of-state job at all costs. You spent 10 months apart from each other and I couldn't imagine any genuine visa applicant/petitioner on this page wanting to see their spouse take a job that far away after arriving for a couple of weeks. Not only that, but it could be perceived like you are there for employment opportunities instead of being with your spouse. Not only that, getting a SSN isn't as easy as walking in to the office and saying "Hi, i'm here and i'm new, can I have my card please?" It takes a bit of time and processing and if you do ANY work before you can fill out the W-9 (That is the employee tax sheet for employers right?) then you've just committed your first crime in the states.
You really need to consult an immigration lawyer before you make any kind of decision like this, but from one person to another person, it sounds like you've been apart for 10 months already, and that is far too long for any genuinely married couple.

OMG I seriously thought I was alone in this process. Not, that I'm glad that you haven't heard any good news ,but for knowing that am not left alone, and that someone shares the same pain.Lol! When my fiance called, and asked to speak to a tier 2 Immigration officer, the officer then told him that our case was at TSC. I don't know how they know but its confusing. Sometimes I feel like it has been sent out because of the comparissons I make with others who got approved same day or days after success. So the Immigration officer told him to give them 30 days! Which tomorrow it will be 20 days for us. Can you believe it? So I'm giving them until Monday 25th. Btw, I also put up an online E-Request, hope that I hear something soon and you do too . We should definetly keep in touch!!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for today. Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the beat in my heart, and the love I have for You and my husband/wife. Thank You for gifting me another day to show my love. Please help calm my anxious heart. I pray I would not worry about anything. In fact, I pray over those situations right now and ask for Your will to be done. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide me and transform my life, my character. Make me more like You! I specifically pray for some of the things my husband/Wife and I have been encountering. I pray for Your peace to guard us in Jesus name AMEN!
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

You state you did not file anything. You would be the primary sponsor. Even if your income is "0" you need to file the i-864. I may be reading your statement incorrectly. My apologies if I am.

I feel ya! I was hoping that by December my wife would be here with us, but it seems like it's gonna be for Feb, or March like you said. Well, I prayed and prayed and prayed and nothing, so I figured that God has different dates for us besides the one that I was praying for so I left it up to Him. May God give all of us the strength to continue with this journey.

I don't believe a thing I read on USCIS website anymore (except that my case hasn't been touched yet). 5 months is a load of hogwash. It is good to see some Feb approvals - even one from Nebraska. It seems though that these are petitions files after ours was filed . I have nothing, not even an RFE to indicate that I am not on the bottom of some pile under someone's desk who has gone on vacation. Oh well, still alive and well, and accruing pension money in Canada

I believe that is incorrect. From my understanding you can be married by an ordained minister of any faith, who is empowered to do legal weddings, but if you do it without a government issued marriage license, it does not count legally.
Happens a lot in Utah.....there was even a recent U.S. Federal Court case that...kinda-sorta deals with the issue of whether a marriage without a marriage license counts as a marriage. Brown v. Buhman
