    Wellington and I met almost 20 years ago when I was 13 and he 16. I went to Santo Domingo to visit my cousins and he was their best friend. I stayed for a little over a week and fell head over heels for him. He was my first love and first boyfriend. We stayed in touch through mail and short phone calls.

    I returned to be with him again when I was 16. Although we stayed in touch after that vacation as well, I met (who would turn out to be...) the father of my children shortly after. Eventually, Wellington and I lost touch.

    I never forgot about him and I'd always asked my cousins about him when they'd come to visit Fl. In fact, last February 2012, my cousins came to visit. I was single so I asked about him! Turned out that he had a Facebook Page!! Of course I requested him and we immediately started catching up with the 15 years we had lost. Guess what...he never got rid of even one picture or letter that we exchanged!!

    We have been madly in love ever since!! Our wedding is ready and planned...just waiting on a DATE!!

    A first love turned last. <3

    Ok, so I called USCIS this afternoon...after a full 24 hours of receiving a delivery confirmation from the US Postal Service that my document had been signed for and delivered to USCIS. I was told that statuses weren't automatically updated when documents are received. They are only get updated when an actual customs agent gets your case to work on it. In other words, I could send my RFE reply today and it could sit there for 3 weeks before someone picks it up to work on it. It's them...

      Don't worry sweetie....as long as they are working on your case. It took them 1 month exactly to approve mine. If you don't mind, what were they asking in your RFE?
