Hi everyone. It looks like things are going great for most everyone. Sorry I haven't been on lately. I have been focusing on loosing weight before my trip on March 27th. Trying to get back to the weight I was when last I saw Dwain which has been 2 yrs and 7 month but who is counting. I'm almost there with a weight loss so far of 23 pounds. I would love to get back to the weight when we first started dating 6 years ago so another 35 to go. Michele we are still planning on getting married in August. We are going to find a villa to have it at when I'm down in March. It is going to be on August 5th. Hopefully I will be on here a little more frequent. To keep in touch with everyone. Once the school season widens down I know for sure I will be on every day. Everybody have a great week and take care.

Our trip was wonderful. Damien was so happy to see his family and friends. We spent quality time together - it felt like we fell in love all over again. We had dinner with my mother, aunt and Damien's father and brothers - it was very nice. He was a little emotional at the airport. He made out of JA with no problems with the AP but they made him wait 45 minutes in Fort Lauderdale so we missed our flight to DC - after waiting in line for almost an hour because part of the airport was closed so 6 international flights landed at the same time. US Airways booked us on the next flight with no problems. I miss JA already.

David is watching Superman for the 4th time, like it's his 1st.... drive's me insane , it dosen't matter what movie he'll watch it over and over, He's yelling at the screen, like he dosen't know whats going to happen next Keeps asking me to watch with him, It's the very first one to make it so bad, I don't have to tell you how many times I've seen superman 1.

I feel your pain Some Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays - I'm stuck watching WWE wrestling and the NBA channel almost every night. I REALLY dislike watching them both. But he has to watch Will & Grace with me or a Lifetime movie

Ditto Tony is obsessed with action movies - anything with Jet Li or Jackie Chan or the James Bond movies - he will watch them over and over again Drives me crazy! The only night I get the remote control is on Sundays to watch Desperate Housewives & Grey's Anatomy! Usually, the rest of the week I sit with him but I read a book or magazine

Nice wedding night......I got really sick. Think I even had a fever.....Roy took our bottle of Double Proof Rum and rubbed in on my body -- then poured it on my head. I know, I know.......too much information......

Well, it did make me feel better. Word of caution -- if this ever happens to you -- close you eyes as he is pouring the rum on your head -- doesn't feel to good when it gets in your eyes.

Roy would be in heaven if we could get Royal Palms Estate....can I just tell you?!?!?!!? I am not too sure what it is. Right now I think it is mainly music.....but, any connection back to the island will be good for him.

Okay, the wedding is over. The judge had food on his robe. I thought it was pretty funny.....Roy smacked his head on the bathroom door just before we left the house -- you can hardly see the "damage" but I think he was feeling pretty bad about it. We went to lunch with my friends, went home and changed our clothes now I am back at work. Can't wait to get home -- the anxiety is gone and now I am just really, really tired.

Thanks for thinking of me Lee. He did go to the hospital and they gave him antibiotics(injection) and muscle relaxants(for uncontrolable shaking) and a few days off work. He's feeling a little better but is very tired. I found out that the reason he doesn't like going to doctors is that he's afraid of shots. He knows that I go to the allergist and get injections every couple of weeks and he asked me if I cried when I got them. He has bad allergies too and I'm afraid that when he arrives here he will develop new allergies and have to get injections too. I better research natural remedies

Ms. Parker good to see you back. We have a snow storm coming in today in Connecticut (near New York City). We're expecting 5"-8" of snow.

True If he accumulates any time "out of status" then he can not leave the country until he has the green card as the time out of status will trigger a ban if he tries to come back into the US from another country.

It depends. My sister-in-law got married in the same church the second time around because she was chrisened and baptized in that church. It's the church she has belonged to all of her life. All of her friends and most relatives belong to that church. I saw nothing wrong with it .

Hey Gang!

I know it has been a long time and I deserve a smack, but I know y'all got nothing but mad love for me!.

It's been a busy, emotional and blest time for me and Mr P... but we are still very much in love and testing out this marriage thing together. I can't believe it has been six months in a few days since he got here... and, man oh man, I love me some Mr P.

To celebrate our 1st wedding annivesary, we will be going to Kenya at the begginning of May (and we will class it as our real honeymoon). No little patters of tiny Parker feet ... yet. Plenty of time for that... but I hear that a lot of you have filled in that role for me already.

I am going to try and catch up on the 40 pages, before it gets to 800!!!

Ok Jamie and Rhonda...Your scaring me!!! ...but I guess these are things we all need to know ahead of time...It is great that I have people like ya'll that have "been there done that" so you can tell me what is ahead and maybe give some insight as of how to handle the situation.

Ditto that!! And I've been married before, so I should know. But before, he was the miser and took care of all of the bills and he was from the states and knew exactly how expensive things were. I don't think Trevor has a clue no matter how much I try to:bonk: pound it in his head. I am really trying very hard to prepare him for all of the adjustments that he will have to make, but sometimes I don't think I am getting through.

I'm trying to get finished up here at work so I can get out of here early. We're leaving tomorrow so I won't be on here for about a week. I may check back in tonight if I have time. If not:

He passed the pre-test but still wants to take the beginning classes to strengthen his math. We got receipts for AOS and EAD on Feb. 25.

Well I just got home and I am excieted to say that my parents bought me my wedding dress tonight...I know it is a little soon but I found it and really liked it...I am in a wedding next Friday and I went to this little bridal store today to see about getting my bridesmaid dress hemmed and I decided I would try on a few dresses while I was there (I have tried on several at Davids bridal but they just didnt fit very good in the chest area..too big busted I guess) but this one fit like a glove, just needs to be shortened a little...I was not going to get it this earley but my mom and dad said if i really liked it they would go ahead and get it for me....plus it was on clearance and was the only one they had at the store...it was reg. priced at $799 but was 1/2 off so only $400....GREAT DEAL.

Your dress is very pretty, I love it.

Knowing that our big wedding is coming up in July has made the disappointment not feel as bad. Yesterday we went down to the Brooklyn Clerk's office and got our marriage license. We are going to have our civil ceremony this afternoon. Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes.

That's great! The excitement is still going to be there, no matter where you are. When you have two wedding dates, which one do you celebrate every year? When Trevor gets here(whenever that may be) and we have the ceremony in my church, I still want to celebrate on New Year's Eve as the real date.

Anna, so sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth. I also "remember" the pain, I had mine done by one of those dental colleges (not much money) and they didnt do the best job, it took them over 4 hours to just 2 of them, and they ended up damaging the tooth next to it, I found out years later. Now, you couldnt PAY me to go back to that place.

So so sorry to hear about the flights being cancelled, Squitto's, was hoping for the best from you.

Well, we have returned from our cruise, had a blast. It was nice being in a semi warm place, went clear down to Cozumel, etc, but there was a storm that moved in, so it was cloudy and about 75, with a cool breeze, so a little on the cool side to "get away" from the super cold of Nebraska, but it was nice. We didnt know if we were going to go or not, considering my niece in laws condition, but my nephew said to go ahead and go, nothing anyone can do but sit around and worry anyhow. So we did go and glad of it.

Cant say coming back was so good tho, nothing but glitches starting yesterday early morning. Anyone else experienced that? My gosh. We disembarked the ship late, got to the airport, the flight was late and my nephew who was to pick us up had NO information. Arriving flight info Kept saying "on time". He was to be at work by 10 pm, and our flight was due in by 8, so we thought no problem. I guess was a big problem with the luggage, it was one of those Embraer jets, that is SO small you cant even bring carry on luggage, they have to put it in the luggage compartment. No one KNEW that is what they were doing, well I guess all the carry on wouldnt fit, so they had to take out some of the actual luggage to fit it in. We finally arrive after 9, then 4 of our bags were missing, so we have to report that, then with the hour drive back to Lincoln from Omaha, my nephew ended up being late for work. My sister got an overdraft from an insurance she had specifically cancelled BEFORE we left, and they did the auto take out even tho she had informed the bank as well NOT to do this. Anyone doing this, watch out, after you authorize it, you CANT stop it ahead of time, only go and fill out all the paperwork to get it refunded which costs $20 and a headache, plus the overdraft fee's. It makes me not want to authorize anything!

Well gosh, this is an epic...and I have more to add....crazy days! Need prayers for my niece in law, she just went in the hospital this morn, not sure they are going to make it long enuff for that litte one to make it, even with the cerclage. She is only 23 weeks at this point...more later

Well, as for me I took out all 4 of my wisdom teeth yesterday so i've been laying up doing nothing but absorbing the pain. I'm the biggest baby when it comes to the pain, I swear at times I surprise myself esp when I had my daughter. I'm in so much pain it ain't even funny I've been crying all freaking day My daughter has been real helpful, she made breakfast (scrabble eggs & french toast sticks) for her and my cousin she's 7. Yes I'm sick and I'm still stuck w/other ppl kids. My daughter got up and cleaned my face plus fed me a yogurt. I just took some Vidakin (sp?) so I know I'm going to be on cloud 9 in a few.

I'll be checking in throughtout the weekend since I'm home until Tuesday. I hope everyone else enjoy the weekend and dress warm.
