I need a little advice from you ladies. We received our interview letter the other day after only 2 months. I am not complaining, however, as many of you know, our twins are due next month right around the interview date.

Should I call and try to reshedule, or should I just wait and see as we get closer to the interview if I will have delivered by then or not? I dont want to risk them recheduling me for 6 months from now becasue we are so grateful to have gotten the interview so quick.

I would wait and see what happens. You don't want to reschdule and you haven't delivered yet. And like I said to Papcawn, (IMO) being pregnant or having kids together is the best proof of relationship.

Well, I signed up Lake for a forklift driving class today. He did really well and got his certificate, I am hoping the fact that he is doing things like this will impress prospective employers!

It's hotter than Hades. I went outside for lunch and to pick up toiletries and I ran back inside as soon as I was done. It's 97 but weatherman said it will feel like 105. Ughh!! As they say, the Big Apple is the Baked Apple.

Jamie -- that's a good question and I really don't have an answer. Certainly one day is not "the past" -- it is still so recent and that is when you MUST straighten things out....before they get too old to deal with. I think it would be impossible to deal with everything the moment it is happening. If you are not with him 24/7 how could you possibly "fix" the situation before it became the past?

Hopefully someone (Elizabeth) will have some words of wisdom.....

A little girl was chatting on a bus one day - she would not stop just stringing topics together. So happens they were JA and the father said to her "ah wah wrang to you - yuh swallow a small radio?" I felt bad for the little one but we all wanted her to put a sock in it.

That's halarious . Trevor is very quiet, however, we do have our arguments, even though he's not here yet. Our arguments are very short, mainly because we still have not gotten to a point where we understand each other very well. We both have a very hard time with the language barriers. He probably still does not realize that he's married yet

I don't think she wanted him to spend the money. I met her at the wedding and all ten of his siblings. They are a very, very close family. He is the oldest boy of eleven children. The other boys are 8, 11, and 14, so he and his Mom are very tight. It took twenty days to get to me by regular mail.

Well our dogs have returned

I don't know what happened to them or where they were but they showed up in the middle of the night on the porch...made so much noise to be let in. They have never done that before. They normally don't make any noise. We don't know if they went off somewhere or if someone took them or what. They are both really skiddish and were a complete mess- missing some hair and making all sorts of weird noises. Nemo looks like he has some pretty bad injuries to his back legs. He can barely walk Whatever happened to them it wasn't nice. Since we live in the country I am wondering if they got in with some coyotes or something. Anyways we are off to the vets to make sure they are ok. Milo seems alright except he is really skiddish and was laying in our laps and wouldn't stop whimpering...something he never really does. Nemo was really happy to see us but he was dragging his backside and wouldn't let us touch him for a while. Anyways I will keep you all updated.

Thanks for all the well wishes. My last post was a little emotional and logically we didn't know what to think. We had searched for 4 hours and really there seemed to be no hope. They are like our kids. I know some of you know what I mean. I never thought I would be so emotionally attached to dogs...but I am Anyways I will keep you updated.

Thank you Drucilla for helping me out . I guess I will have Dwain mail me the certificate too. How did Trevor send it to you? What type of mail service? Because Dwains letters sometimes don't make it here and I would get a little bit worried if the Marriage License got lost. Wow I trully wasn't suspecting to change my name this quick either. May be I should tell my boss to go ahead and order my new name sign. I didn't expect the students to call me Mrs. Brown yet either. That will be really weird to have them calling me by that last name since he won't be here until who knows when.

Hi Everyone,

I know I know its been a long time

Well I was just popping in to see how everyone is doing and let you know that we are doing great. Andre is enjoying his job at the door place and he got a raise after only a few weeks of work. It wasn't much but it was definitely an ego boost. I am going crazy working. It is our harvest time now so I am working 10am-10pm or longer 7 days a week. Lots of hours and making good money but no overtime (agriculture). Right now we are saving up money for me to go to school in the fall. I have my registration appt. the end of this month and I already did my testing and all that so I am one step away. It is very exciting. We are also saving up to take a trip to Vancouver, BC Canada to attend the Caribbean Festival the end of this month. We really need a weekend getaway and who doesn't want to eat all the jerk and curry they can and wine the night away (still practicing )

So anyways we are doing good and looking forward to my season being done (sometime in late August) I haven't had time to post but I have been trying to keep up on the reading

Congrats to everyone who has been blessed the past few weeks and to all that are going through tough/hard times...we will say a prayer for you and yours. Good luck to all those with upcoming interviews...don't worry you will be fine.

Well...I just wanted to say good bye and PLEAZZZZ wish us luck!!!!

I just finished packing and getting all of the paperwork together for our interview next week. I leave tomorrow for JA so I will post the news if I get the chance to use a computer in JA. Otherwise, I will call Miss Nanny and she can post the news for me.

We went to Taste of Chicago on Saturday -- it was about 90 degrees. We got in and out pretty fast. I tried the alligator -- Roy wouldn't even look at it. Are they the same as the smart car? If so I think they are so ugly and they only seat two people. If you have a child in a car seat, I would feel uncomfortable putting them in the front seat. Plus, I never let my kids sit in the front until they were teenagers. They're suppose to be very sturdy. I guess I would buy one if these stupid gas prices keep going up. Not because I would want to.
