    Just want to know: Will the US embassy keep your husband's passport untill the completion of AP/AR?

      That's what they said. However, I sent the embassy an email asking about it, and they said if he needs his passport for travel, he can "borrow" it from them if he presents his 221g sheet and picks it up in person.
