  1. Unfortunately the approvals of these December filers got January filers´ hopes up. Mine too, since I didn´t see too many January WAC numbers before mine on the USCIS site. So that means as soon as they start working on January, I should be up next.

But now they´ve returned to working on the old 2012 cases, which I think is absolutely fine since it is only fair.

People get kind of greedy and want their NOA2 NOW although some are only February filers and have only waited 2 months. I want to be with my fiance too, badly!

But I think we have to be a little more humble and realistic, and like you, I´d be superhappy to get mine in late June/July, which would make it 5.5 /6 months.

That is far sooner than what I expected up until CSC started cranking them out like they did last week.

Let´s just be happy and excited that they are indeed working their butts off and let´s hope they continue that way!

All I can add to this is I pray nobody has to be delayed in the way some of us have been. I can not tell you the pain that it causes to have to wait beyond eight months when I initially expected a 5 month wait.

I do not mind when you filed, I just pray that every single person gets processed in a TIMELY manner and CSC never comes to a halt like it did again.

  2. Hi Everyone,

I know I am not the only one here who has not received there NOA2. I filed my k-1 on sep 14. I have been told since Jan. that I need to wait two more months. They finally told me that in may I can do an e-request. I have gotten so fed up that I have contacted my senator and they have told us that they have emailed USCIS and that that is all they can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I call USCIS 3 times a week to just be annoying, I have called the lady from the senators office that is working our case and she is no helping. I am starting to wondering if the reason this is taking so long is b/c my fiance is from Turkey? Has anyone from Turkey had this problem? Does anyone have some helpful suggestions as to what I can do to speed this up?

Thank you and good luck to everyone!

    :time:

Please be patient just a little longer. I am sure you will hear something very soon. Take a look at Igor's list under Timelines on the link above. You will see that September approvals are realy only just starting. California has only just started processing at a good speed. My RFE only came on the 18th April and we filed on 7th August!

  3. RFE too. Sigh . S confused and happy

I am sure you will work it out fast and have your approval soon :)

From what others have said, it may be my fiance's divorce papers that are the issue. I am hoping so. That would mean a bunch of photocopying is all that's required. I already warned him to make sure he has ink for his printer

It's been a long journey and it's not over yet by a loooooooong way! but thanks to everyone of you out there that have been there for me with help, advice and moral support. I don't know how I would have managed this wait without you all :)

  4. When we found out that we had a RFE, we took it a good sign because that means our case has been touched. I really hope your RFE is just minor and hopefully you will get

NOA2 approval in a few days after you send the RFE response. Good luck! :)

I was a little upset at getting an RFE after over 8 months but I guess we must have done something wrong. But atleast it means our file is there, being worked on and not lost in the black hole anymore :) As soon as we get the letter, we will get it sorted and sent back as soon as we can. Hopefully by the end of May we will have our NOA2 and that will be time to celebrate :)

  5. We're both divorced - him twice (!) - and we were okay.

That's great :) but the more I think about it, I seem to recall we had a conversation about his divorce papers and he wasn't sure which bit he was supposed to send. Apparently it's not a single sheet like mine, it's a whole stack of papers including finances, kids arrangements and everything. Well if it is for the divorce papers, he can copy every page and send it! lol

  6. hi guys. i am glad your cases have been looked at. cheer up cereal. at least it is a move forward. mine hasnt seen the light of day up until now so i am jealous of you guys. hope ours will come pretty soon. I will pray that your RFE is a minor one. just send everything back asap so they wont have any reason to stall it further:)

Well lets pray that CSC has another day like yesterday and hopefully you will hear something :)

  7. Nah I bet it will be me! My fiance is gonna call Senator Wyden today. He has already been mentioned as not doing much but armed with that information too, well maybe we can try. Just have to get him to sit down and use the phone instead of making burn piles, feeding calves, checking pregnant goat..... He hates paperwork type stuff, can you tell?

Senator Ron Wyden - Advised us by letter that he had wrote to CSC

Congressman DiFazio - Received reply today (18thApril) Standard letter asking us for info we had already supplied.

    We are in Southern Oregon

Did they help? Hard to tell now since CSC is moving so fast but in this case I would say no they didn't.
