  1. Thanks,. we'll try and do some push. Since the start of the petition, i remember my fiance called only once that was Nov. 2012, after that we just wait and wait and wait. When we got the RFE, t'was a good sign , we did no follow up. Maybe now, we need to do something, even though i know, there are still behind me.

I have a feeling that the slow down has affected your rfe but it is now over a month since they received it so I see no reason why you can't follow it up with a phone call. Please let us all know how you get on. Good luck :)

  2. Thank you will look at them

It's because I'm the French one and I called and they don't want it because it's not legal.

Why? It's legal to make people wait nine months and put them in the S????

Hang on in there :) There are signs things are improving. I am getting a little more hopeful. Tuesdays's has been the most approvals I have seen come out of California since I joined.

  3. I don't think all of the recent approvals from months 7,8,9, and even 10 are due to senator or congressman interference.

It was reported that they have more people working on them now, this does seem to be accurate. Over 16 in the last 48 hours.

I think you will approved this week. . .

I have to ask though, how do i make a ticker for noa1?

Yes suddenly there is a glimmer of hope where there has not been one. Maybe they have their processing dates sufficiently down to go back to processing the ones they should be doing i.e July onwards.

Click on my ticker and it takes you to the ticker factory site. Make your ticker and add it to your signature in your profile.

  4. Ya they are definitely pumping them out at a rate more rapid than we have witnessed in the last 6 months! that is for sure!

Over 16 NOA2s in the last 48 hours on VJ, that has to be a record-breaker for the last 8 months

We just need to see more of the July onwards petitions coming through. Anyone notice Vermont has slowed down? I think they have one office and they just change the name from Vermont to california from time to time when the backlog gets too much

  5. My goodness, approvals are being spit out at CSC... dare I be hopeful?!

oh csc, why do you build me up? buttercup baby just to let me down..

 and we are singing! Mild hysteria setting in?

Ok I will share a personal moment with you all. Before Greg and I had Skype, we used to share music to express our feelings. This particular track is probably as meaningful now than it was back then. I think a few of you ill also relate to it.

The link is to you tube. If it doesn't play for you then it is Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat......Lucky

    Enjoy!

  6. Wow thats terrible!

By doing this, they are skewing all the charts, even the data which we see on VJ.

That's a pretty shady tactic! why cant they just speed up the rest.

Although, I am noticing a high volume of approvals this week, including some from July and August! :D

But it seems the July/August approvals only happen when people have had help from Congressman or Senator :(

  7. First come first served would be wonderful wouldn't it but do you realise your file WAS processed in date order (this thought occurred to me today) The file is received at the service Centre and we are sent the NOA1. For instance my NOA1 is 7th August BUT on the USCIS site my file was touched 10th August. Guess they did something with it right then IN DATE ORDER!

Yep we planned our filing to make it possible for me and my kids to travel to USA in June and spend the summer out there before my kids started new schools in September. They would atleast have been a bit more used to the place by then. Now we are hoping for Christmas! It's not what we were hoping for when we set off on this journey.

I put no blame on the ones who received the NOA2. My frustration and anger is all channeled to the USCIS. Anyways, anyone check igors list lately? Do you like how the DEC bar is higher than the AUG bar? Personally, I find it hilarious!

BUT 31 petitions August approved and 21 petitions December. It's showing higher because there are less December filers on Visa Journey just now.

  8. Good evening and welcome to you all. Pull up a couch, lay back, close your eyes and dream of the day.............

OK, ok less of that

Complain all you need to in this thread but PLEASE remember that the filers from November and December that have been approved got lucky. They do not deserve a verbal bashing.

Lets support and try to understand each others frustration. Sometimes it helps to shout and rant :)

  9. OK think enough other threads have been hi-jacked so if we need a great big rant or a consolation hug then this is the thread we should be in. It's not fair on the lucky ones that have got their NOA2 for us to gripe all over their happy threads.

Yea I am sick to the back teeth of waiting, it hurts everytime I see someone else getting approved even though I am happy for them. Just praying it will soon be my turn. Hopefuly fiance is calling his Senator later today :)

  10. They don't allow non US citizens to talk to them! See? We're just unworthy of even talk to them since we're pieces of dirt! I stay polite.

If it weren't that important, I wouldn't even talk in here or elsewhere...

No there's other option : for him to come to France. He won't be treated this way I tell you!

Privacy laws apply no doubt. Your fiance filed so it is their petition. Is there a problem with your fiance calling them?

  11. I wrote to the ombudsman yesterday about how later filers, November and December, are being processed at CSC. The person replied that they were able to "locate the issue" that may have caused a few days worth of cases to work out of order. He then said it was a result of the flood a few weeks back, the files being wet and having to be relocated, and therefore them not having access to them. He said that they believe they have resolved the issue and are back on track beginning today.

(I would copy and paste the response but the email explicitly says not to do it)

Ummm so now it is a "flood," not a pipe breaking/plumbing issue? Wasn't this the same issue that supposedly didn't damage ANY files?

lol how many excuses can they make? After we complained to USCIS they actually called my fiance to reassure us that no files were affected by the burst pipe.

Now if they are back on track today (which I seriously doubt but I have been praying for a miracle) then I will be a very happy girly indeed!
