When you get a chance can you update the table to indicate the CSC applicant # from 0 to 1 since you are on the list! Good luck to you all!

Just called NVC. We have an interview date of 23rd December.
Now, I wonder how long it will take them to issue the Visa and get it to us. Mmmmmm. Am super excited. Once they get my file I might email and see if I can bring it forward although I am sure they won't. Still, worth a try.
Guess they are still scheduling.
dwheels, can you add me to the spreadsheet please?

k.dlg reacted to MoBar65 in Welcome to the November 2014 Support and Rant Thread
Greetings from Boulder, CO my dear friends,
A very hectic daily schedule have kept me away from my VJ friends, but I'm hoping it won't be so anymore. Have been so busy the last couple of weeks that by around 7:30 p.m., I would fall asleep on the couch within 5 minutes of grabbing the TV remote from my kids. No wonder they don't fight me over it anymore.
I only managed to go through a few past pages only to learn of a CC no show for a friend, a missed December schedule for another and an AP for a third. I hope the good news I've missed far outweigh the bad.

Ok cool! I wonder if that's always the case. I thought we got a hardcopy due to the rescheduling. Oh yeah! You can now say it's less than a month (due to the interview time)!

k.dlg reacted to britishinfusion in November 2014 Interviews
We got our IL via email on Oct. 8th then today he received a hard copy of the IL both have the Interview Date of 11/17 a month from today!!! Hurray!
-
k.dlg got a reaction from britishinfusion in November 2014 Interviews
Yes! That was the weird thing. We had been corresponding with them via e-mail, but they didn't say anything for a while so we gave up on it until he received the IL in the post in the UK. Did you not receive the IL e-mail? We got the original IL via e-mail and the rescheduled IL in the post. The date was postmarked a day or two after our second e-mail chain with them.
-
k.dlg got a reaction from britishinfusion in November 2014 Interviews
Oh yeah, that part of this process was the easiest! The waiting in between the date assignment and the actual interview day was harder, but this month will fly past, you'll see! And thanks! We were surprised with the new date in the post since they hadn't notified us by e-mail until after we already received the hardcopy letter confirming the new date.
-
k.dlg got a reaction from britishinfusion in November 2014 Interviews
Yeah, you're better off having more time getting all the loose ends tied up in the UK before making the big move during that month! Yes we did. We weren't as bad off as another UK filer, but we were scheduled almost 2 months out from our CC which seemed ridiculous compared to other timelines at the time, so after pushing them twice, they finally gave us an earlier date that put us at almost 6 weeks instead of 8 weeks from CC.

Yeppp! Cost efficiencies so they can keep every last penny possible from what we paid them. Are y'all sticking to the original interview date?

YAY!! Now you should see the dates change after the interview every time they touch your case (if it takes more than one day to issue the visa).
So happy for you and stackeria being out of that bottomless pit!

No prob! It'll say "Ready" after they input the case into their system. It takes a day or two for that to happen.
Here's my timeline for post-NVC and the embassy:
07/15/2014 - Case Left NVC
07/17/2014 - Case Arrives in London
07/18/2014 - Case Status shows "Ready"
08/04/2014 - Interview - APPROVED
08/05/2014 - CEAC shows AP
08/07/2014 - CEAC shows ISSUED
08/11/2014 - E-mail from courier received
08/12/2014 - VISA IN HAND/ELIS Fee PAID
p.s. Don't freak when it shows "Administrative Processing" (AP) as this is normal procedure after the interview for them to do some background checks or whatever else they need to do before they print and issue the visa.

Oh yes! I wasn't sure if he was going down that route or not which is why I said 10 years. (I forgot y'all have been married a long time already! )
Oh ok, hope it all went well! And yeah, I called USCIS maybe 2 or 3 times and called NVC 30458023584 times. It's wonderful to never have to deal with some of those rude agents ever again.
Congrats!! Good luck on your POE!!

Yep! No idea why it goes back to "Paid", but there isn't a lot of sense in this process as it is.

Here is my husband's review for anyone curious. He just had his exam today.
"Firstly, it's a little bit awkward to find if you're travelling by public transport and I wouldn't advise going by car as I don't believe there is anywhere nearby to park. So aim to get there half an hour before your appt.
On arrival, I told them who I was and they asked me for all the necessary documents which as you know are form of photo ID (Passport, Driving License etc.) Vaccination records/history, one UK sized passport photo, Police record certificate and the completed medical questionnaire form (with any additional info on separate sheet, if applicable).
With that done, they then handed me another form and wouldn't you just know it? It's almost exactly the same questions as the Medical Questionnaire form I already filled in and handed to them. Oh well! So off I went around the corner to the waiting area and filled in the form again. They were very busy but all very friendly people and after handing the new form back to reception, I sat with quite a few others, waiting for my turn to have my chest X-Ray. My turn came after about 10 minutes of waiting and it was very straight forward and the consultant who took it was very friendly and made me feel at ease.
I watched him download the scan right there on his screen and then off I went back to the waiting area for my exam. It was a longer wait this time as they were very busy but I was seen after about 25-30 minutes.
The examiner was, again, a very friendly guy and made me feel completely at ease. We sat and he went through my questionnaire with me, making sure everything I had answered was correct and there were no mistakes. No tricky questions, very straight forward and simple.
After that was a height and weight check then an eye test, then I was asked to remove my top and sit on the bed while he checked my ears, eyes and mouth. He then listened to my lungs and heart, then I was asked to lie down and he checked my stomach, then I was asked to stand up and, in his words, 'the part that everybody hates', it was pants (TROUSERS!) down to ankles and time to explore the Netherlands. Guys, this part is extremely quick, literally no more than a few seconds and it's a quick cough for 'Lefty' and then again for 'Righty' and that is literally about it, pants up. Each and every little check was extremely quick and all in all the whole exam could've only been a few minutes. Lastly, I was asked to lie down again and blood was taken from my right arm, anyone with needle or blood phobias, you see nothing at all.
After that I was all done, a very quick discussion about the doctor preliminary findings (which for me was that everything looked great) and I was told that if I did not hear from him by Wednesday then I could consider that as everything was fine and no issues. Shook the man's hand, back to reception to pay the £245 pound, the feint sound of my debit card grumbling in protest could be heard, I was then given a vaccination record printout which you MUST keep and that was that!"

Never again!!! Just have to deal with USCIS again later ... Best of luck on your interview! If you're curious about how that or the medical goes, I posted a medical review in the UK forum (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/8321-london-medical-knightsbridge-doctors/page-99), and an interview review in my timeline (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=151036).

Of course! I'd look to see if your case status changed to "Ready" sometime early next week since if it was shipped out today, it might arrive this weekend or Monday.
