Had my oath ceremony today! The video/audio wasn’t working so we didn’t get the videos, but it was fine. Notification letter said ceremony starts at 1, but it was really around 1:45pm after getting everyone becoming naturalized checked in and bringing the guests in. Ceremony itself  was about 40 mins or so.

Wishing the best of luck to everyone in their journey!

I finally received notice that they scheduled my ROC interview for 7/30. I applied for I-751 in Dec 2016 and then applied for N-400 in Sept 2017. They scheduled a N-400 interview in Dec 2017, but once we showed up we were told that they don’t do combo interviews in Chicago. Happy to get the ROC process done with so that the citizenship application can move forward!

Finally got a notice for I-751 interview for 7/30.

    Chicago, IL filer - CSC.

Applied for removal of conditions in Dec 2016, and filed for citizenship in September 2017. N-400 interview was scheduled in Dec 2017, but once we showed up, we were told that they could not do a combined interview and that I would have to wait until conditions were removed. Happy to be almost done with this whole process!!

I also got an email with a case status update, and same as the folks above: USCIS case status shows that interview has been scheduled, but no update on the myUSCIS page. It looks like all of us are in Chicago - yahoo!

Now praying that my concurrent I-751 doesn't negate the interview... I know someone in the July thread reported that they were turned away at the interview in Chicago because their ROC was still pending.

Hi all. Sent in our application in late March/early April. Still waiting for an interview date. :/ Anyone else in the same boat?

K-1 visas were not issued prior to DOMA because same-sex marriage did not exist in America then. Now that there are states that do have same-sex marriage, it is a different story. Also, whether a same-sex couple can apply for immigration benefits if they marry in New York for example, but live in Texas where same-sex marriage is not recognized, will depend on the SCOTUS ruling and opinion.
Best of luck to you two.
