After your fiancé enters USA and you get married, can you go on a cruiseship, say to Bahamas or Caribbean? She holds Moroccon passport. We can check the visa requirements of our destinations but will she have to go thru USA customs & immigration after we return? Will she need a travel document or we can travel without it? Bahamas are USA territories and I don't know if she would need a travel document for that?
Any help or insight will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance to all of you who comment!

I don't see any reason why they will not accept a copy of it. Originals to be taken on the interview day.

It's crazy. It all depends on the CO. Just hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

Thanks Mawi!

Once you get the RFE how much time you have to respond? I am going outside the country for 2 weeks with no one to check my mail on my back, and worrying what if I get RFE in that time window? I would really appreciate any help into this matter

Thanks for the post.

You can guess all you want but it's up to the CO reviewing your case, determining the needs case to case basis. It sounds good enough to me.

At least instead of flat out denying due to lack of documentation, they RFE giving you a chance to make up. If they see something obviously wrong with the case then they may deny you instead of wasting their time with RFE process. It's just my personal opinion.

Don't do it. They are smarter than you think.

I think your fiancé is right. It shouldn't matter.

Thanks dear fellows. I appreciate all responses

I think there was a place for it where they inquired about it. I hope I am not mixing it up with DS forms. I just got panicked a little

On our k1 visa application we checked the box to "no" where it says that have you ever applied for USA visa before?
Later I found out that my fiancée indeed entered her name in a lottery visa few years ago but she did not think it's considered as applying for a USA visa.
What you guys think? I will correct the info on DS forms if our application get approved, but should I send a letter to USCIS to update my info?
Any feedback is appreciated!

It's been 35 days and I am going to see her again in 23 days, which means total 58 days apart. Next trip after that lined up in 60 days again. Hopefuly the trip after that will be at the time of her visa interview. Yeah, it costs money and takes time, but nothing is more important to me than being with my love.

NOA1 12/7/12, Alien Reg # changed notice on 12/12/12 and since then it's in the initial review phase. I know that there are couples who got approved even in a month without any expedited request. I am hoping for the best

How about CR1 instead of K1? It will relieve your anxiety and won't take much longer than K1.

Make sure you frontload everything with your packet.

Thanks for the comments!
US Virgin Islands sounds good. Hawaii is also an option and even though its not the main land but I am assuming that it should be acceptable to USCIS as well.
