I challenge you to not use the phrase "moral decay" for one week. I'll settle for one topic.

If you want warm and fuzzy adopt a cat/dog or buy a teddy bear. The site is for information ( and for correcting misinformation ) and people who have posted thousands of posts tend to develop a style of putting out information , correcting misinformation. Few ever become close to the users that pass through and most will be here long after most reading this thread are forgotten. Respect your elders.

Your problem is misreading things and taking them badly. Each post i've read of yours today where you blew up at another member for being "mean" was taken completely wrong. There was no insult. There just was no "now you see love..." You got what you came for, advice, fact, and in some cases, opinion.
At no point of any of the responses I've read to you (or written) breached the VJ TOS. If you feel it does you hit the report button and a mod will be along when they get the chance to assess it.
There aren't thousands of members here who know what they're talking about. There are many people who know things about certain things, but I'd say there's around 10-20 "veterans" who know what they're talking about and whose advice I would take as gospel without further research (and when you do the ratio on that, it's extremely askew). Of the many hundreds/thousands of questions posted here, do you really expect those 10-20 people to take the time to pretty up their speech so that they don't offend anyone? You will ALWAYS offend someone. It is, a lot of the time, a type and send answer. No re-reading, no censorship. Just answer and move to the next topic.
The people on this site almost all have jobs. They have lives. They spend part of their time/lives on this site giving advice to people. They do not get paid and a lot of the time they end up having threads like this being written about them. What makes you think THAT is fair? Do you really think it makes us WANT to continue giving you advice? Do you think it's fair that others miss out on the advice of experienced members because someone got their back up about something, most likely for entirely the wrong reason and the experienced member just says "well ####### this, it's just not worth it" and stops answering? or for the answer to be muddied with pointless "you're being a poopy head" talk?
It's people like you that stop a lot of experienced members from coming back once they're done with the process (or between processes). You're new here, you expect us to cater to the myriad of personalities you come across here. To answer the same question HUNDREDS of times a week and still be all nice and sugary sweet. It's just not going to happen, sometimes we try, but sometimes we don't because the answer is more important.
There are some threads, specifically regional, or progress threads, where thing are a lot friendlier/prettier. In the upper forums (where you posted this initially in the k1 visa section) it is mostly answer and go.
I suggest you learn to let these things roll off your back, especially during this extremely long and stressful process. Take the time to realise no offence was meant but that most of us aren't your friends. Consider us as the stranger at the bus stop you ask for directions. We answer, we move on.

BaBamSam got a reaction from Ivie & Eguagie in RFE received: Circumstances of Meeting and Last Personal Meeting
This is VERY important to note. You must talk about meeting in person in the last two years. I submitted a paragraph that had one sentence of "We first met attending the same university" and the rest was "We lived in the UK for X TIME and traveled to France on X DATE for a vacation" to describe our meetings within the last two years.

No that's not what the qn is about at all. it is ONLY about when you last met IN PERSON. Mine read "I met Vanessa in person when she came to stay with me in the US for X days on X date". that was it I sent ticket stubs, copies of passport stamps, itinerary and a couple of photos. Approved without issue.

He's got the military covered. Getting the boys home from useless wars that his predecessor stupidly started.

BaBamSam reacted to Meg and Danny in Unfair random approvals. What is wrong with you CSC people?
I think because so little is actually known about the actual process for each case, it may not actually be "unfair". It may be that certain cases require more work(even if you know it doesnt, they don't know you, and have to follow their own protocols whatever they might be).
I think its a really crappy position to be in, but I think it may just look unfair. Super irritating and hard on people that want to be together(believe me I get it!). All that aside, we only get to see the timeline, not what goes on behind the scenes or why.

BaBamSam got a reaction from Lynkali in Standard Time For NOA2 Text messages
It varies - so there's no "set time". They seem to come out in batches, but not at the same time every day. I don't know for VSC, but for CSC it's usually after West Coast business hours. Mine was 8pm, day before was 9:36pm, one night was 11:12pm (all PST).

Thank you so much! I hope your RFE clears ASAP (I'm sure it will)!
You are psychic. Seriously.
I had literally resigned myself to no good news this week (aside from this stuff, had a week of bad news) and it was the farthest thing from my mind as I was stuck in freeway traffic after 14 hours of filming. Apparently not thinking about it worked? IDK.
I really hope yours comes through in the next few days - hopefully tomorrow!

BaBamSam got a reaction from HappyDeux :-) in Much Needed
Tonight on my way home in horrible Los Angeles traffic after a 14 hour day of filming in the sun, I got a text message to check the USCIS website and - what do you know - our petition has been approved! I was so excited that I immediately called and woke up the fiance to tell him. It made the drive bearable and made me forget how exhausted I was. It also came after a week of very bad news for me, so I am very appreciative of the timing.
Now onto London!
Thank you to everyone who has helped make the process a little bit easier

I suppose I'm making a distinction between the policy (I'm the beneficiary in this process, I'm not a US citizen, so I have no right to comment on US immigration policy) and the implementation of the policy (but I am a stakeholder in terms of implementation, so that's what I'm criticising). From my perspective, the problem isn't the policy per se, it's the fact that no additional resources have been provided to implement the policy, So I'm not going to sit here and criticise the policy, but I sure as hell will criticise the implementation of the policy, And I also think that's going to be a more productive route, Introducing a new route to immigration without providing the resources necessary to support the applications that go along with it indicates incompetence at best, and wilful apathy at worst. I'm not being an apologist for the administration. I'm just saying that in my opinion, the problem isn't with the policy. I think that the problem is with a lack of planning for the implementation of the policy.

How about fighting to ensure that the USCIS Service Centers are appropriately resourced to process all legitimate claimants in a timely manner? Ultimately that's what we need. I don't think that I'm more entitled than anyone else. I don't want our application to be delayed because there are too many other applicants whose applications are being prioritised either. But the solution is not to deny other people the same opportunity that we are applying for. The solution is to ensure that the processing organisation (USCIS) is properly resourced to process all applicants without delay.

Amriki, you still haven't arrived at the point of why we should care.
Let people be who they need to be. It's not like transsexuals want to make you less of a man. Based on your logic I see posted every day, you already beat them to the punch.

Wait, what is this post about? Besides encouraging people to be decent human beings and allow one another to live however they choose - whether or not that falls within the gender construct we, as a society, have normalized...
