It is retarded to think an adjudicator would spend his free time on VJ. Come on now!!!
-
GREAT NEWS!!!!! Congratulations. Good news for us too that they are now touching September out of CSC.
-
complete standstill for months....
-
This is a slowdown on a whole new level. Last year VSC's worst month for K1 NOA2s was 55 here on VJ. CSC's total for November, December, January and half of February combined is 59.
Starting next week CSC's normal processing time will be 7 months, maybe that will get them going ....... I hope.
And it's ridiculous there's nothing we can do about it. Nor get any answers from those lemmings
-
Yea I love how they just halt US citizens petitions and cut everyone else in line. US Government at its finest!
-
Looks like there was a similar drop off in K-1 approvals this time last year also...
Yea, that's what I've been saying. I think it's going to pick up here pretty soon! Fingers crossed
-
I feel that way I try and think to myself that another day equals another pile of applications they have gone through, ultimately getting closer to ours -- anything to try and stay positive
That's the spirit! I know while we see no movement it is really painful, but I trust it will soon. It has to!

Honestly, it's hard to decipher what's going on with USCIS....I feel like after waiting you are rewarded with more waiting. Where is the light??
-
How's all my November filers doing? Hopefully we hit the halfway point til NOA2...I hope? It's kind of like autopilot now for me and sometimes are harder than others, but honestly every time I go to bed, I feel happy tha another day is under my belt. Anyone else get like that?
-
I really wouldn't plan anything til you get approved. It's one of the biggest bits of advice given on this site since day 1. Best of luck to all!!
-
they are referring to this http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=6&office=2&charttype=1
It's usually updated around the 20th of every month and it's always at least a couple months behind. So, expect to see Dec. info in a week or 2.
Oh that makes so much sense. What a great government! We get to see trends posted from 3+ months ago in a few weeks! Way to go!

Calling politicians to get your case moving is very far fetched. You think these congressmen banging their high priced escorts in hotel rooms and attending fancy luncheons give a rats tail about someone waiting 6-8 months for their fiancé? Probably not. I hate to break the mood but sometimes the reality has got to be told. Just sit back and roll one up til you hear back. That's all you can do really. Best of luck to everyone. You are all in my prayers to see your loved ones soon!

I'm right there with you. I'm ten days behind you in terms of NOA1 and this is crazy that we have to wait so long to hear something back from them. I understand the Dream Act stuff but shouldn't they have to wait after us. I mean even with the new immigration reform they are suppose to go to the back of the line instead of front loaded. Crazy stuff I tell you.
Yea I know. I don't understand how taxpaying citizens abiding the law are being penalized by the Dream Act. My gardener should not be cutting in front of me in line

Soon to join the 300 day club. Filed NOA May 9th, 2012. Waited so far for 278 days. Contacted my congressman who said to wait some more until February 15th for a reply. I doubt it's coming. No hope. I should have married in my fiancee's home country. Thinking of expatriating if we continue to get no replies. No government is going to keep us apart.
Keep your head up man. That is such bullshit. On a positive note, I called and they told me updates are coming Feb 15. Not sure I that means good things are coming. Hang in there. I agree the government should not make taxpaying US citizens have to wait this long to be with their loved ones who happen to be in another country.

Anyone know when they update the data on the graph in USCIS site for the I-129f trends? It is stuck at Nov 2012..
-
Sorry I don't take Xanax! But as of the day they updated the site they were two and a half months behind so my math is right! True they could speed up or slow down even more!
Well you definitely need something to chill out from your excessive use of the '!'
-
Yes I can read and I know what the date means! What I meant was since I filed in early October of last year the 5 months is just about up so I should be hearing something very soon. But since they changed the time from 5 months to a date (July 18,2012) then I know they are about 2 1/2 months behind!! It has nothing to do with July of this year!
Whoa, calm down there. Someone missed their Xanax dose this morning looks like
BTW, you gotta long way to go. I wouldn't get too wrapped up with dates right now. They are processing July 18. You have no idea how fast or slow they will go from here on out so your math is still wrong
-
Believe me I feel your pain!! Got my NOA1 October 4, 2012 and was looking forward to hearing her petition was approved very soon, then they changed the date to July 18th from 5 months!!! The hardest part is there's nothing you can do but wait! Patience is not one of my strongest qualities! By the time we are finished it might be though!) Hang in there people, we'll get there eventually!!
July 18th date means they are processing filers from then (July 18, 2012). It does not mean you will be approved by July 18, 2013.

Is anyone taking my advice about the kush?
-
Not a chance in hell, sorry to say
-
This new message pertains to case updates, mainly new petitions. But it ALSO means that USCIS is very backed up generally speaking that new updates may take 1 month + to get in the system. CSC is like at 1-2 NOA2 per week on Igor's list which is seriously pathetic. Every time I think"ok this week they're gonna plow through a bunch", it remains at a standstill! Definitely makes you want to pull out your hair that our gov't does what it pleases without any accountability.

Depressing thread folks
-
Sit back, roll your kush, and keep waiting. It works! Trust me
-
Just freaking out the Californina processing times showed last week a 129F form took five months,,,,now they show July 18.
I sent my first package to USCIS last week in January.................Does this mean they wont even look at my case until July??????
Please tell me no!!!!!!OMG
Yes that is correct. I know it sucks. All I would say is to sit back and roll that good kush, then check back in like 2 months. I am thinking it will prob speed up, I mean how much slower can they get?

That's so horrible!!! Wrong attitude. Be happy for your fellow citizens. There are gonna be people faster and slower than you on this site. Ths is merely a place to have a sense of community so you don't feel alone in this long, difficult process. Where's you spirit? Go get a bag of kush and calm those nerves brada-man!
