Yea I feel the bad vibes just clicking in this thread....
-
man.....this is one club I don't wanna be a part of. Good luck to you guys! I know it's painful
-
Well, according to Igor's timeline, they have processed some of the August filers, but they are barely dribbling in.
What we need is to send the CSC staff cases of Red Bull to get this baby in full motion!
I'm an August 6th filer (20 days after Sahs, who's been waiting like a mofo!), and honestly, I feel like the August folks are right on the cusp here...but when it comes to the NOA2...being "on the cusp" ain't good enough!
We're in waiting...
I absolutely agree with you on all points. Some work faster than others so they can be farther along in the batch. That's probably why August filers are now "dribbling in". That is a good sign though. Historically they seem to get their act together after the holidays (which is now)!!! I'm down to pitch in on some red bull or amphetamines to get these govt workers moving!
-
USCIS said they have processed filers up til July 18 and to call back after Feb 15 for the new date they are processing. That sounds about right looking at Igor's list in the timeline section on VJ. I am hoping they start catching up. They really slowed down pretty much right when I filed. My luuuck
-
Looks like that may be false guys judging from another thread. They are still in JUly/Aug according to Igor's list. But the timeline section says Oct 7 now....VERY WEIRD i know!
-
I think that is looking at the expedites and Igor's list is more of an estimate judging from the responses on here. Am I right guys?
-
Just saw someone with 8/17 NOA1 get approved in CSC on Igor's list!
-
Man this news disappoints me greatly. Then I am still many months away looks like to get to November
-
Yea I got it off the timelines section. It said Oct 5th filers are being worked on. Man, if they have not done July yet, then why does that say Oct 5. I was sooo excited and now I'm sooo disappointed.
-
I can't believe they are moving along and almost getting to November filers! Hopefully will hear something in the next month or two
-
Looks like CSC is now processing I-129Fs from Oct 5 according to the timeline. Hopefully they keep it up and we can get approved by next month?! That would be amazing...
-
alchohol? ok - but an illegal substance? hmmmmm
meanwhile, back on point.
Sorry, OP - Deferred Adjudication CaseFiles abound.
Who said anything about illegal?
-
Wait for your turn and u will be worrying the same way we do.. u just started this process that's why you are not feeling the wait yet.. if we knew what is causing the delay.. it would've been less stressful but no one knows
CSC will catch back up, even if you see the trends that it will pick back up very soon. Home stretch ! Trust me I'm definitely feeling it, but hey what can you do? Good luck to all. I truly hope you all get to see your loved ones soon.
-
You guys just need some good kush and alcohol and sit back and rellllllax
-
congrats.

You need to calm down. There is nothing you can do. Literally. NOTHING. after you are out of the processing time you can get your senator or representative involved, but even that doesn't mean a definite answer.so you are kinda stuck. It's like a wound, you can play with e edges and tug on the dried blood and make it bleed again, or wait it out and let it heal
Haha ok I will calm down? My post must've so crazy for you judging by your response. I think the onl person who needs to calm down here is you
-
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, yes. However, I have to take the back to the folks here that were thrown for back flips with more stress and anxiety then they had mentally prepared for because of the delays associated with any issues; us being two of tens of thousands. It's one thing to know and accept a timeframe of what's to come (Yes, that's stressful too), but another thing all together to have and stressfully gone though the expectations of a process only to be thrown to the back of the bus; suffering without your loved one who's also anxiously waiting to come home as well for an even more extended period of time apart then was called for.
I pray for things to start moving forward again for EVERYONE...
You are absolutely right, and again I made no mention of this. I was merely saying that this phase is the longest process for K-1. That's all. I have no idea about any other types of issues or visas. We all want to be next to our loved ones. I think this thread has definitely gone in the wrong direction and I'm just going to let it go here.....best of luck to everyone
-
lets hope everything gets done for JUNE! that sounds great!! and well he wants red and I want gold. so combination of both i guess its so hard to plan the wedding though without knowing exactly when to have it, and specially with out love ones so far away :/
They're still processing July guys and hasn't moved for a while. I hope they blow through August to make up for it. NOA2 wait could easily take til June/July for it to arrive for us Nov filers
-
I don't want to sound insensitive here, but if you think a K-1 application is taking too long, I wonder how are you going to feel when you would be applying for the rest of the immigration benefits. Be patient, sooner or later you will receive an answer. Keep in mind that with K-1 you are just getting your feet wet for what we all call "an immigration journey". Good luck.
Yea dude, the whole point is being with your loved one. I don't care about the wait for the rest of the "immigration journey" as long as I have my beautiful fiance by my side. Your remark is pretty insensitive or maybe you are just confused as why everyone is so restless at the NOA2 stage. This is the most difficult part for 99.9% of the people filing I-129F / K1's.
Hope you can understand the pain now

The data is compiled by users entering in correct data. Sometimes the dates get skewed because people have entered incorrect dates or just don't update at all. They are just guidelines and definitely not official USCIS data.
of course it's not official, i was wondering why the sudden jump to Aug 29 when no new approvals were recorded in Igor's list
-
Yea now it is saying processing August 29....over a one month jump in just 1 day. I am officially convinced the algorithm is just bad and compounded with incorrect/incomplete data. I almost wish I had not discovered VJ, but it is so hard not to check it daily. Even looking at Igor's list it seems they have been stuck on the 3rd week of July for ages. What the heck!?!?
-
For I-129F, I noticed it went from July 28, to July 24, to July 23, and now it is August 29th today?? But I didn't see any new approvals. How is this data compiled and am I missing anything. It is making me pull my hair out more than I'd like haha. Any explanations would be most appreciated....Thanks
This is for CSC by the way...

Easy now sterotyping "Government" workers.............Some of us might take offense since I am one and I don't work slow. But you know, there are that 10% everywhere and not just in the government.
Have a great day.
Didn't mean to offend anyone, I guess I just meant things that pertain to Government usually take a long time (except when it comes to cashing checks). They do that quite fast
-
Looks like they really love July ..Honestly, I doubt anyone knows what the hold up is about...could be they were just taken off doing K1s completely in order to work on other types of visas and what not. The hope is (on my side anyways) that they will speed up eventually to come back to their average of 5 months (now they seem to be averaging 7.....that is just my calculation). Maybe they are waiting till the new fees hit in february ?
Either way....sucks.
I know, I sure hope they get their act together on the K1's and start catching up. I noticed you are an August filer, so this has gotta be excruciating for you. Home stretch! Looking at the charts, it seems as though they start speeding up around this time. It must be the holidays. Government workers are already slow. Now throw in the holidays, and forget about it!! LOL....I was hoping the whole process would take 6 months to see my love, but I think the NOA2 alone will take that time...then another 2-3 months for NVC, interview, etc....
Called USCIS, I-129Fs filed by July 18 have been processed...

Why do say march 4th or 5th? Is there some sort of updating schedule?
The graphs show Nov '12 as the latest month on USCIS site which is pathetic
