Maaaaan, I miss me some DD!!! I remember being in Boston a few years ago and there was literally one on every corner!
Now the closest DD is in Illinois (booooooo).
I told Agent Meg she made my week and told her to have a great day, I could tell she was smiling when we hung up. I hope everyone who gets her gets good news and a pleasant attitude!

The embassy only sends out the availability schedule once every month or so I'm assuming. It's not like NVC has their schedule for the entire year. So, once NVC fills up the entire schedule of a month or so, then they have to wait until they get the next schedule.

Interesting! I wonder how different the ingredients are, given they claim to be all natural blah blah etc. I guess it's fair for you to have Chipotle there... Pret a Manger is suddenly springing up all over the place in Boston, and I bet it's not as good here

Under "Adjustments to Income," use the Adjusted Gross Income figure.

OK, alot of people answered this incorrectly...
If the 1040 was filed, you have to use LINE 22 ( TOTAL INCOME) if you use any other number they will check list you.
You said you filed the 1040... LINE 22 from the 1040 is the number you have to use..... check and double check.... GOOD LUCK !!!!!

If the petitioner filed the 1040EZ for taxes, then the adjusted gross income is used. The income figure used is not based on which AOS form you file.

Heck yeah, you can look great at 44!! I have just a few years on you and I finally colored my hair the other day, and felt invigorated to style my hair today! It's been so busy with work and selling the house - having to be out of it more than in it most days, and of course no hubby to try to look good for, so I've let things slide a little lately
Now that the end is in sight, it's all hands on deck!! Time to get some sun and fun and feel good so I'm recharged for the move to be with my love again

Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC!
Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites! For up to date time frames, you can view my spreadsheet here. If you would like to be added (or have your entry updated), then please fill out the form here (please read the instructions at the top carefully, especially the update part as people aren't filling the form out correctly [they're filling out information not needed]). And before submitting the form, please make sure the consulate on your timeline isn't the default Armenia. I will NOT add/update you if it is. If you're wondering about time frames, I've got a spreadsheet available for a reason And if you're trying to look at a time tick not on it (such as bills being invoiced), look at the fellow members right here in this thread! How many days after what? Case complete, or having the interview assigned?
Interviews are generally scheduled at certain times of month (end of one month and early into the next) with scattered exceptions. If you get case complete right now, you may have an interview notice within a matter of days. If you get case complete a week from now, you may be waiting a whole month before you receive your assignment.
When the interview is assigned, you should receive email notification within 24 hours of assignment being made, and often less. Mine was within an hour or two.

Make sure you're asking for the invoice identification number. Don't abbreviate to IIN on the telephone with them.
