Didn't you get it under the LIFE act or something?

They are unmarried now, that may not be the case is 10 plus years. With 5 children seems unlikely all will stay single.
I know people who stayed single into their 40s because their LPR parents sponsored them....

You enter the applicable information but write "DECEASED" regarding residence.

What are others doing that are from Pakistan?
The majority of people keep their Pakistani citizenship unintentionally. That is to say, most assume that it went away when they naturalize in the US, but this is not true. So between those cases, and those who choose to maintain NICOPs, the majority do not renounce their Pakistani citizenship.

Looks like being a Pakistani citizen is a requirement to have NICOP - https://www.nadra.gov.pk/identity/identity-nicop/
If you renounce Pakistan's citizenship I'm not 100% sure you'll be eligible for NICOP.
NICOPs are ID cards given to CITIZENS.

I keep hearing "22 months", where does this come from?

You can try to correct it via the Pakistan Citizen Portal app

What is missing?

Circling back here, in case anyone is in this situation.
It seems like writing "Pakistan" on the I-130 will prompt USCIS/NVC to later request Pakistani documents. Writing "Bangladesh" will prompt them to request Bangladeshi documents if there is an RFE. In the absence of the I-130 instructions specifying current country of sovereignty vs historical, it seems like one could write what matches their birth certificate as suggested by @Yuliya Lipina YMMV.

My all children were below 21 years old, in fact, the elder son was 15 years old back then, when applied. Now, two children are just 21 and 23 years. Rest (3 children) are still below 21. ALL ARE UNMARRIED - Hope it's making sense to you.
1. Was the I-130 approved, or still pending?
2. Everything depends on the above question, even those who are currently under 21.

I knew people who were sponsored by parents and stayed single into their 40s because they did not want to be ineligible for the GC...

oh i see, Actually her babies birth certificates have wrong spellings of one parent name and they need to correct it or make new birth certificates of babies which gonna take two or three month or may be more thats why I was thinking to apply for her and add derivatives after some time.
A corrected birth certificate can be issued in a few weeks. You have plenty of time to get this fixed before applying.

Yes it is.
What is likely going to happen is that when she gets a green card, if her sole name is say Aisha, the green will have:
First name: FNU
Surname: Aisha
If she is not OK with that, then she has 20+ years to do something about it.
OP, if you do NOT want this to happen, she can go through the name update process in Pakistan. She will need to post in the newspaper for two weeks, and then take those newspaper clippings to NADRA, where they will update the record. You need to keep those clippings with you for the 20+ years so I suggest you scan them.
You can prove that you two are siblings by submitting your birth certificate and your sibling's, and the documents will show both parents' names

Thank you Mike ,
just have a question
our parents were married in the early 70s and that time , they weren’t issued any MC, then our mom passed away in the 90s and our dad in 2020 ,
Will we need DC or MC for them because they weren’t issued any MC back in 70s ?
amd now they are both gone
That is not true. Nikah Namas have been issues from the 1970s. You will need to get some document that says you don't have one. If you can't find it, you will need to go to the central registrar in your city, they may have an old copy or be able to provide you with a letter saying "We looked but could not find it". NADRA may also have a copy in their electronic system (they scan a lot of things)

Do you know if blood test with the proof of immunity is enough for the immigration panel physician? We are from Canada, and did our test in Canada, but going for the medical in Portugal. Not sure if they might accept it.
Theoretically should be fine, just ask the doctor if they need to reorder the tests or not

@pm5k didn't mention whether the friend presented expired GC along with valid extension letter. If only extension was shown, I can see why he was given trouble.
Presented both. Officer said "it isn't a green card so it doesn't do anything"

How can I request for Nadra marriage certificate online or outside of Pakistan?
I found on NADRA website they only providing Family Regitration Certificate.
I've my urdu nikahnama 20 years back from karachi and its english translation. Now I need Nadra MRC to file in DS260.
Thanks..
You will need to get a NADRA marriage certificate made. but this is in ADDITION to your existing urdu nikah nama and translation

Get the newer version of Nadra Birth Certificate from your local union council office.
why? the old one is valid.
there have been cases where people got new birth certificates but the UC wrote "late entry". this ended up creating more problems later.

Anyone can translate it. In my case, a family friend did it (here, in the US). The translation just needs to include a statement that the translation is accurate and that the translator knows Urdu and English
Dual Citizen or not?

I meant to say that only citizens get it, so if one renounces, they do not get a NICOP. They can get a POC instead.
