Hello guys we just got back from sanaa and i have both good and bad news. good news is that our case seems to be complete and nothing more is needed the interviewing officer didnt say anything about our co sponsers he was quite convinced but the bad new is that our case was put on adminstrative process ..when i asked y he said it just is but dont worry it wont take long the most is 3 months and we will call ur husband in for another interview ..do u guys think this is good or bad. well to me it seems ok becasue he said ur case seems to be perfect nothing is missing or wrong.. but i think they want to do more of a background check i guess ..
-
exactly so at anytime he will get a call and hes all ready to come see u.. inshallah soon i hope they give him his passport ..
-
do u think its someone who wants to know what happened to him or r u sure its from the embassy why would they call and ask that and why then hang up what they wanted from him
-
well i dont know for sure but i think if they took his passport and they already have the exam and everything else means that they will approve his visa and stamp it and call him to come and get it... now this is just my opinion..
-
so r u and this girl married yet>>>
-
and h93 i think brroklynmans wife got her visa . i think thats what i remeber
-
yea for people who dont know what to do then i do advice them to go to a lawyer because u might not know what u need and if u have everything ready then no lawyer can speed up the process for u .u have to wait just like everyone else.
-
sounds all right to me... thats what i got
-
thanks albabeli i hope they do to but its different for guys because guys are more dangerous and more likely they think guys are terriost i hate that but its the truth anyway iv been looking for a new sponser for a like a month just incase they denie the one we have already and my luck there isnt anyone with a good income .... there is one but he is retired already do u think that will work
-
so it doesnt matter if i know him dam it thats sucks lets just hope things go differnetly for my husband
-
thats exacutly what i was thinking as well. women are different its much easier for them ..
-
waw really... did she have an interview before or is this the first time for her. and did they give her another interview date in two weeks to go pick up the visa. i know im aksin soo much but my husband is next to me buggin me to ask u this and hes soo nervous . and btw i when they ask my husband if he knows the sponser my husband wont say yes because we dont want to lie because they wnt beliuve us and we dont have anything to hide.. and our sponser is not yemei he is an african american who i know and so does my husbands father .. i hope thats enough for them .. inshallah my husband gets the visa so we can go to u.s together with our son anyway.. congrats to ur wife
-
is he from yemen to ur co sponser
-
ok guys i have my sponsers taxs and original copy of birth certificate and his job letter .. so do u think that would be enough .. . and albabeli i understand what u mean but that is not a far thing for embassy to do ..and also u are worryin me thats why cus my husband doesnt know the joint sponser only his father and i do so that would be a problem .. and
albabeli r u ur wifes only sponser
-
oh so ur sayin that my husband shoukd know our joint sponser or else they will reject him because our joint sponser is a friend of my husbands dad and he is helping us ...
-
whooo... who is not her husband lol wats wrong with what r u sayin..
-
albabeli:::: i dont think this is true because they would have told her to get another sponser who is related or knows him . and did u to have a interview today...
-
Was the sponsor a family member. They are looking for a Yemeni sponsor and they prefer a family member.
i sent saana an email asking if my sponser has to be a yemeni or related to me and they said no he doesnt not have to be a yemeni and could be a friend, relative or,college.
-
Yes yes yes .. CALL and ask and they will tell u what to do .. dont do anything before u ask uscis or nvc whatever office ur file is at.
-
inshallah he gets his visa and dont forget to tell us what questions were asked. and are you in saana right now with him r u going into the embassy with him?
-
-
tell him to come to italy and get married then go back to us and apply for u just like everyone else does its the best way ..... even though he might be away for a while he can still come and visit
-
ok well heres the thing if you are broke how will be able to pay for the fees.and im sorry to say this but u might have to leave her for a while because if she does get a tourist visa it wont last forever aqnd if u file for just a regular visa for her to come to the us it might take months and even year or more. so if you want to apply for her and stay in france u might have to keep renewing ur passport and if that isnt allowed in france then u might have to go back to the u.s and apply for her and get a job and wait until everything is all done. and u might wanna look for a job because u gonna need it for ur affidavit of support or alteast have a friend or family member who has good taxs and they want to help u. good luck hope everything goes well
-
well most people send in the i864 forms first with the taxs and other stuff along with it and then they fill out the ds230 and the documents and send ... however make sure your case is not being filied electronically because if it then if u send them they will send them back to you and tell you to scan them then send them by email. so make sure

if you guys wanna know what questions were asked .... keep reading..
well as u know each case is very different and the interviewing officer doesnt always ask the same questions to every person anyway we were asked
questions they asked me ( petitioner)
1.how do you know the sponser?
2. where/what does he work?
they asked me another question based on my answer.
3.so why didnt your father inlaw apply for your husband then?
then i gave them a long answer. and he seemed convinced because i was telling the truth
4.what year did you get married?
5.your son was born in the U.S ?
6. how long have you been in yemen ?
questions they asked my husband...
1.where does your wife live in the U.S?
2.under whos name is this apartment?
3how many sibilings does she have?
4. name them from first to last....
then they asked him a question which was a true or false question
5.is her sisteer ____ married?
the answer was no.
and thats it.
