Thanks for the feedbacks.

I recently had a conversation with someone concerning immigrants. The person mentioned that immigrants do not pay 'state' taxes during their first 5 years here in America? Is that true? Also, what about Federal taxes?
Thanks.

Bridgett,
The letter of Support is authorized. At this exact moment I am unable to answery your question regarding the bank letter. However, I do wish to stress to you the importance of having a lot of evidence of an 'on-going relationship' ie., photos, emails, IM, even letters from family and friends.
I wish you well.

Has anyone heard from All4Kweku? I sent her an IM last week regarding attorney info., but never received a response. Just want to make sure she is OK.

I don't know of an immigration attorney. However, I do want to let you know that I will be joining you in prayer. Remember that #1) EVERYTHING will work together for your good and #2) No weapon formed shall prosper.
Be encouraged and don't give up!

Everything is going well with us. My husband has received his CNA, his work permit and has started working through a Nursing Staffing agency. He is also pursuing part-time work since his hours with the staffing agency varies so much. In the meantime, we are waiting for the AOS interview date.
I'm like blah0323, I don't post a lot but I like to read what's going on with others. I really do learn a lot.
Hope things are going well with everyone else.
Hi - Felshen!

Any suggestions on a nice, inexpensive hotel in Maui?
Thanks.

At random I called an attorney's office to make an appointment. After explaining what I needed to discuss with the attorney (at the time I was trying to get my Fiance' here) I was told that my case was so straightforward and simple that it would be better to do the paperwork myself. During this conversation I was also referred to the website of VJ. So ... here I am!

I am asking this question on the behalf of a friend ..... If a US Citizen gets married to a person who is here in the US based on an Asylum, after marriage will the individual granted the Asylum then become eligible for a Green Card? Also, what forms (if any) will these individuals have to file once they are married?
Thanks for your help.
