  1. Yes they will give the shots needed by your child in in one day at st. Luke's...I remembered when I had my medical last July 2013, some children had 5 to 6 shots, 2 for each arm and others at the thigh..it is so terrible to see the young kids cry after.

I had 2 shots the mmr and flu shots one month before my medical cause I don't want to have 4 shots in one day cause I am afraid of the after vaccines effect....it cost me about 3000 php for the 2 shots because I went to a private doctor...it is definitely not cheaper to have outside shots cause all shots given by the SLEC will be included in your medical fee....check ur local barangay health centers they might give the shots for free.

...in case u opted to have shots given out of St. Luke's be sure you ask a vaccination record from the doctor with complete details as to the name of the vaccines, brand of vaccine, date given, route, site given, vaccine lot, mfr. date, signature of doctor, printed name of doctor, license number.

Lastly, it is very important to bring the vaccination record with you and present them to the St. Luke's physician during the vaccination evaluation.

waahhh!!! i'd rather bring my children to pedia than to have their shots all in one day. knowng my 9yr old daughter have phobia in injections...

ill print out the required vaccines and bring my 2kids on pedia this monday, this is ASAP -

thanks for the info - SOBRANG KINILABUTAN AKO

  2. is it really true that if ur child lack one or more of the vaccines they will give the shot/s all in a 1 day?

will you recommend i go to their pedia now to get their meningococcal and pneumococcal? will it be cheaper rather than to have their shots at slmcec?

  3. i just called NVC. now they are saying, information entered in the system but still not have case number. call after 2 to 4 weeks. it is very frustrating. waiting and waiting. sad.png

ei, kallo...no more "we receive you case january 7...."

    atleast they rephrase their spiel....

maybe by next week...it'll be diferent again

how bout stacey & misho, i wonder did they tried calling again???

  4. Hello,

I am a naturalized US citizen petitioning for my daughter. She received her visa last week, and will be traveling to the USA next month. She will become a citizen automatically upon entering the US because she qualifies for citizenship under the child citizenship act of 2000 (CCA).

Do i still have to pay the $165 USCIS ELIS fee before she enters the US?

Can we choose NOT to pay this fee and just apply directly for her passport as soon as she arrives and has been issued her SSN.? I don't see why a green card is necessary if she automatically gains US Citizenship upon entering the country.

    Thank you!

    hi!

just want to know when you file ofr her AOS, you fill up i864w? did you insert tax transcript?

  5. THANKS!

ive read this instructions many times, and we fall under CCA 2000 one parent is a naturalized USC. i just got confused when saylin said "depending on how you qualify"

and if our cases joined together at NVC this does mean he only have to insert 1 tax transript, w2, and AOS?

    Hi Saylin,

I know you put a lot of info about I-864 but what about I-864w? I fall in that category and correct me if I am wrong, that form do not require tax documents and employment letter like the regular affidavit of support, right?

Thank you in advance for your input.

Looking at the I-864W instructions, no that stuff doesn't seem to be needed. But, depending on how you qualify for the I-864W, you may need to send other documentation in its place.

    SAYLIN: :)

just want to clarify it...depending on what? in our case husband is naturalized USC, petitioning for my 2 minors ages 3 & 9.

  7. ya, we focus mostly on 'going fast' at NVC, shaving time.

Is rare to suggest to go slow, but with multiple casefiles at the same time? Is best to get them joined up. Sure, there's the reduction in fee on the AOS, but more importantly, the interview dates are all set together for the same day.

glad im always reading post here, thanks to the one who asked about this earlier in tis thread and thanks for elaborating it more.

and yes ur right, what really important is that we'll all be interviewed at the same day.

  8. when logging in to the nvc payment portal

if'n he sees 3 fees for AOS,

    then

the casefiles are not properly joined up, yet, at NVC. I suggest:

    1. delay paying the AOS fee until they are joined up and

    2. call NVC, get a supervisor, ask said supervisor to join up the casefiles.

    thanks darnell!

for all i know, he has goin to pay AOS for us 3. this will save us $176.dancin5hr.gif

just called today no case number yet. ill try my luck next week..

  9. Hi Saylin! smile.png

We just received an email containing the Case numbers for me and my daughter along with the IIN and Beneficiary ID numbers. Do we call NVC now and give them my email and my husband's email? My husband is the petitioner and will also be assigned as our choice of agent. Also, on the AOS fee, do we need to pay just one AOS fee or one for me and my daughter? I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!

lucky you, in just how many days you have your nvc case number

  10. Hello deescaff,

In NVC you will need to find out by calling every day your - Case Number and Invoice Number.

    Then you go here:

    https://ceac.state.gov/iv/

And fill the DS-261 Choise of Agent and appoint your husband.

    For that you will need:

    1. Select one of the following roles that best describes your relationship to the case: Principal Applicant, Attorney, Petitioner, or Third-party Agent.
    2. Enter the NVC case number located in the instructions that you received from the National Visa Center (NVC).
    3. Enter the NVC Invoice ID Number provided to you by the NVC. The information is located in the NVC instructions you received. If your case was not handled by the NVC (because the petition was filed at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate overseas), you will not have an NVC Invoice ID number. Enter the principal applicant’s date of birth in YYYYMMDD format instead.
    4. Click on the Sign In Button.

After that your husband will get email to pay AOS fee.

    Good luck innocent.gifyes.gif

    very informative...thanks for this post.

just got a question in number 1...im the mother of 2 minors , husband is the petitioner. ill be the one to fill up d261 inbehalf of my children, so what category should i fall. - principal applicant?

  11. Good Morning VJ's!! i have a question I hope you can help me. Is it possible to give the email address to NVC if they received to your case already? they said they received my case but it will take 10 to 20 business days before i can have a case number.

response will be very much appreciated.. Thanks!!!

correct me if im wrong, but with what i read here...you can give them email address once you have your case number...

    read saylins first 2 post....

actually im waiting for our case nunmber also for me to give them our email address

  12. My casefile shipped to NVC on Dec 26, 2013. Since January 2, 2014, I have been calling NVC everyday but still no case number assigned yet.

Furthermore, I was told that I have to wait till 8 weeks to generate the numbers, and another thing that puzzles me is that I was told that they haven't receive my casefile yet...secret7vf.gifprotest6wz.gif When I called service center about my casefile I got an answer " contact directly the department of state or NVC."

more patience.... i was also told the same to wait 8 weeks.

ours was transferred dec 11th and just got off the phone, the lady told me received it 2 days ago. still haven't got in the system yet and told to wait for atleast 20 days....
