  1. Late reply, you probably figured it out by now. I've used NY instead of AE in the past and it worked. Also used CA vs AP for assignments in the pacific. I suggest contact your post office on base to confirm.
  2. My ex-wife set a record well past 25 hours long ago.
  3. Traveled with my Filipina wife several times to the Philippines, both with her as a Philippine citizen with a GC and after she was a US citizen holding a US passport. All times my passport, and our daughter's, was stamped with a 1 year expiration stamp. I can't remember ever having to show our marriage certificate, but we may have. I'd bring one just in case.

    Eva Air

Flew EVA once LA-Taiwan-MNL and back. Nothing sticks out to remember, so it must've been decent. Not sure if they still do this route, but my favorite flight was with Philippine Airlines from/to LAX, direct flights with no transfers. A quick stop in Guam to refuel but didn't leave the plane. Worst one is China Airlines. Bad food and long layovers in Shanghai, which is a bad airport that requires you to process customs for connecting flights. Their customs is overcrowded and hectic.
  5. I PCS'd to Japan with my wife who was a GC holder and still a Philippine citizen at the time. She obviously couldn't get an official no-fee passport then. You must be listed on your spouse's orders to be permitted and given SOFA status. You will need a valid passport from your home country and your GC. I believe the Foreign Clearance Guide spells out requirements. This was in 2018, so make sure to check with the local personnel PCS team and check out the current FCG requirements.
