  1. I have to say thank you to the good guy at 2go branch in moa who help me out to get my passport. I told them that my passport has already been handed down to them but sadly my passport is not with their branch so he called to their main office and he spoke to this guy and then we found out that my passport is already there. Since it's their fault they said that they will bring my passport tomorrow at their moa branch but I'm so eager to get my passport I asked them if I could just pick it up to their main office, usually they don't allow to pick up the passport to there main office but because it's holiday they allowed me to pick it up. After saying thank you to the guy at 2go moa branch me and my family went straight to their main office and yeah after 7 sleepless nights I already have my passport with me. *big smile

  2. She was approved during the interview? Oh you are saying she called later and was told that it was refused.

You can log onto the USEM website to check the status of your visa/passport, this would be a good way to verify.

TRACK YOUR VISA/PASSPORT AT THE EMBASSY

Here is a link for requirements for receiving your passport with the visa, there are also options for tracking the status of your visa/passport is currently. You can also change delivery options.

    Yes... :) ok.. Thanks... :)

  3. If your friends visa was denied then USEM will return her passport using 2GO sending per the same instructions on the form.

So it's possible that although the visa was approved during the interview day the embassy can still denied/refused the visa? Ayayyayay... Thanks for the info hank... :)

  4. The visa will be delivered per your instructions on the form you completed for 2GO. Sadly there is a Holiday coming.

Just relax... after all you were APPROVED, the hard part is over!

    Yup.. Thanks.. :)

Btw.. Have you read or encountered some issue regarding a visa that has been approved but then, when she spoke to someone at USEM they said that the visa was refused and the passport was no where to be found. A friend of mine who had the same interview date with me has that situation, I pity her, do you think that there is a miscommunication here?

  5. I emailed USEM and they said that my visa was already issued and it will be delivered to my address, what confuses me is I choose to pick up my passport and not to deliver it at my house, but when I chatted to one of their representatives he said "as per our records your passport is still on process and is not ready for delivery" and then I decided to call them the lady that I spoke to said that it was in transit. SMH... I don't know what will I believed so I decided to go at MOA to personally see if my passport is already at 2go. Sadly my passport is still not there. The guy who is working at 2go told me that they pick up the passports at USEM twice a day. One in the morning around ten and it will be delivered to MOA (for those who will pick up their passport there) around 11am. Second, in the afternoon around 3pm and the passports will arrived to their branch at 4pm and although it's holiday tomorrow he said that they will still collect passports from USEM. I hope that mine will be release tomorrow, coz this waiting game really sucks :(

  6. No. My TB is not active. The doctor said that I had just an infection on TB, that's the reason why my PPD skin test is positive because I was exposed to someone who got TB. I don't have any symptoms also and my x-ray is normal or ok. It was just the PPD skin test went to positive that's why I had my medication for 6 months for prevention to become active someday.

    Salamat!

I see... So you have a normal chest xray, right? and your tb is not active... So it's latent tuberculosis infection is not contagious but you still have to undergo your medication again to prevent the development of your tb.

  7. Yes you can... That's what I did before... As long as you have your case number and you have already paid the fee you can proceed by scheduling your appt. OL or by calling them, but you still have to wait 24 hrs. after you paid your fee, you have to wait until they put you on their system and by the time of your interview your papers are already in the USEM. Good luck... :)

  8. Yeah..that's normal.... When I scheduled my interview..i did it OL... Wait after 24 hrs by the time you paid your fee. Then proceed scheduling your interview OL that's much more easier than calling them. We don't have any copy of our case number when I scheduled my interview and believed me I did the rest of the process without any hassle, because by the time you have your interview your docs are already in the embassy.

  9. Today marks one of the most memorable day of my life. Fellow VJ members thank you for all your support and for patiently answering all my queries. I'm so thrilled to say that my visa is approved and not only that I made some new friends today and the funny part is two of them will also go in San diego and their fiance's are also in the military. How cool is that? Of course I will not forget the almighty God who is always there for me no matter what and my family who never stop supporting me.

Last night I was so afraid because of some military docs that I don't have and thanks to my fiance's chief who helped us out.... and yeah that document save my ####... ;)

Before going to the embassy me and my family went to Baclaran Church we pray and lighted up some candles. The feeling is different and I lifted everything to God I know he will guide me. :)

I went at the embassy around 6am and yes! Theres a long line already. Thanks to Kath a friend that is also a member here and we accidentally met at st. Lukes she grab me and let me cut the line. They let us go inside by 7:30 am and sadly they have technical problems that's why I got to finished at 2pm.

The pre-screener is quite harsh I must admit I got intimidated by her. She asked for my nbi, BC, cenomar, the rest of my supporting documents. She also asked about my student visa before, it's a good thing that I brought my old passport and the docs for my f1 visa. She interrogated me and asked a lot of things especially about what I did when I went to US before not only that she asked me when and how did me and my fiance met, how many times did he visited me, where did he stay?, what's his job?, etc. We ended our chit chat by her looking at our pictures and saying that we are young couple and my fiance is handsome. *blushed :)

We've waited for so long and time goes by our numbers are not yet to be called until they announced that we should take our lunch first then go back by 12:45pm and when they said go back by 12:45 pm be sure to be there on time coz they will resumed the interview immediately. I saw my number at the board and I proceed to the window that was assigned to me. I said Good afternoon to the consul and he greeted me back he was so cool and easy to talk to, it's like I am just chatting to a friend. He asked me if I've ever been into US, and I said yes and I said to him my student visa journey, the school that I went to, my sponsor. He did asked about our pictures, emails, remittances. He just look at our pictures and when he saw the caption about tagaytay he said that he will go there tomorrow and I told him that he should try bulalo. He even asked me about how did my fiance courted me and what did made me say yes to him. (Awkward) hehehe next, he saw our engagement party pictures and again he did asked me about what happened there. He stamped cancelled to my old visa...smiled at me then he said the magic words. "CONGRATULATIONS" ohhh...hello goose bumps, my inner Goddess is screaming for joy. Hehehehe

All in all it was a very tiring, nerve racking but superb feeling until now I can't believed that I am one step closer to be reunited with my hunny bunny.
