Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update but I did my interview as scheduled on 8/8/19 and passed it. I was initially scheduled to do my oath on 8/15 but I couldn't make it because of preplanned travels so the USCIS officer moved it to the next available date for oath which is 9/5. The interview process went smoothly we only went over the yes/no questions on the application part making sure everything is correct, we then proceeded with the reading, writing and civics test. I can't remember the specific questions asked but they sure are in the study guide. They won't trick you. Haha. The whole process only took about 30 mins so no sweat. I'm almost done with my naturalization journey. Good luck to everyone!

Local field office is Agana, Guam

N-400 application submitted online May 31, 2019

Scheduled for Biometrics on June 18, 2019 at 3:00PM. I arrived at 2:30PM on the day of biometrics and finished at 2:45PM it went by pretty fast as I was the only applicant there. 

Received a notification that an interview date was schedule on June 22, 2019

Interview date will be on August 8, 2019

According to the USCIS my estimated completion time will be in November (a total of 5 months) but I believe it will be all completed by August upon checking other VJ users from Agana, Guam. Most people got their oath less than 10 days after the interview.

And good news, I was on a call with the Immigrant Unit at the Embassy just a few min ago due to the status change on the CEAC website this morning from "Admin Processing" to "Ready." It got me worried---only to find out the Consul approved my visa! To be released by tuesday or wednesday next week and sent to me via 2Go! Yehey! I am sooooo happy I can kiss you all!!!! Hahahaha! Not so bad bad with my 221g--took only a few days. Whew! I can breathe now!

Annie had her CFO class on the 15th and her embassy interview the next day. Both went smoothly and she was approved. Now waiting for the visa to be shipped. The information on tracking status is VERY useful.

HELLLLLLPPPP CSPA-AGING OUT???

To visajourney people, Im so sorry if i posted here. Iam a newbie here, don't know how to post thats why I replied to this topic. Iam very concern and worried about my case . I think its very sensitive. I don't know if Iam still be covered by CSPA.

Here's my info:

-My mother (LPR) filed a petition on me ( I was below 21 years old that time)

-BIRTHDAY: November 29, 1990

-PRIORITY DATE: October 5, 2011

-APPROVAL DATE (by USCIS): June 20, 2013

-I've paid all fees, AOS and IV fees.

-NVC CASE Completed on November 29, 2013 (however I received a checklist instructing me to bring AOS on the interview and that would be less than a week now)

-VISA BULLETIN-case become current I think in July up to September. Iam very sad because its like we're wasting time and effort here. So please give me some advice on what to do and please help me understand if iam still eligible for CSPA. All help is highly appreciated...

I'm sorry but according to my CSPA calculator you are no longer eligible to obtain a visa through F2A status.

This is just based on my calculation (with the given dates provided). I may be correct or not.

eversince we were "issued" on ceac website, ive been monitoring the ustraveldocs website to see when my passport leaves the embassy. until now it shows "passport has been received from the consular...." so i decided to check 2go website using my UID number... and there it says my passport is available for pick up since yesterday. whew! now im not saying all cases are the same but i urge everyone to not just rely on the ustraveldocs website. thanks!

I got interviewed today. Filipino consul told me that I have to get a another cenomar coz the one that NSO gave me did not include my father's name. When I got to the American consul he asked me a few questions and then told me those are all the questions he had for me, and that I just need to submit another cenomar. But he said everything else looks ok to him (with a generous smile) So I went straight to NSO and filed for another cenomar. Praying everything goes well. Does anyone have a similar experience and how long did it take to get your visa? Thanks so much!

Awww 18 na po ako. Haha. Sabi nga po dun sa commercial, Hindi na ako baby... haha.

NP po parang wala nga pong naitulong eh. Haha Very basic lang po kasi tinanong ng mga officer during our interview akala ko nga po sasabak ako sa gera ng araw na yun. Hindi naman po pala. Kung genuine naman po relationship nyo with the petitioner di nman po siguro kayo magkaka problem. Read lang po nung mga documents na isusubmit nyo. Oo nga po eh 2weeks na lang po. During petition stage nagmamadali kang tapusin lahat pero once na you're almost there nakakasad din pala. Especially kapag yung nga taong malalapit sayo naguumpisa na mag drama. Haha. Sa Guam lang po kami medyo malapit lang. Kayo po?

Hello ate CnYforever! Regarding our interview questions po not much question asked since children lang po kami and kasama po namin si Dad nung na interview kaya obvious na obvious na anak po talaga kami. lol

Basic questions lang po ni-ask samin like:

Name and DoB?

Petitioner?

Where will be living in the united states?

Yan lang po yata tinanong samin nung fil consul. No hard questions. haha

tapos nung sa american po. Name and DoB lang then nagbigay ng advice po. ganun lang.

Nakatulong po siguro talaga pagsama samin ng Dad namin during interview kasi konti lang po in-ask samin.

F2A spouses don't need to line up early as we are included in the daily 70 slots available and they don't get full.

How about for the F2A childrens po? Is it real na fridays lang may seminar for minors? I am 18, my older sis 20, and little siter 8.

Hey thanks for the info. I guess for myself the DS-260 selection of agent cannot be done since it is online and the NVC has been bypassed. I see you were an F2A visa, how did you get the expedite? Just curious because I was affected by the Bohol earthquake but did not request till after the typhoon when all power and water was lost, sort of hit my threshold for living there.

Where did you receive the interview letter? Since I have vacated my home in the PI my wife and son is now living with family in a not so great part of Mindanao. I guess tell the Embassy her families address when they finally get the mailing from NVC. Were the fees payable by dollars or credit card? Also I am wondering for this situation if my wife will be interviewed in a room as opposed to the kiosk outside since they need to review the affadavit of support and all, or maybe they will just look it over after the interview and before the decision.

DS-261 is the choose of agent form and DS-260 is the immigrant visa form.

As far as I know even though your case was expedited you still have to complete the DS-261 and DS-260 at ceac website.

Yes we are in a F2A visa. Since our case is within the given priority date. We requested for an expedite last october due to the circumstance that my sister is about to age out. Fortunately, we were approved.

Actually, no interview letter was received. I just kept on calling the US Embassy at (02) 301-2000 local 5184 or 5185 to check if they have received the case. Once they received the physical files they will inform you the details on scheduling of your interview. May i just ask, when was your case expedited?

The fees are payable by cash only. Dollars or Peso (check the prevalent exchange rate at ustraveldocs.com/ph)

Your wife will still be interviewed outside the kiosk. Just like everyone else. No special rooms for expedited case.

Actually about the Affidavit of support they will just check the most recent ITR to see if it is within the poverty guidelines during interview. The officer has a posted copy of the guidelines on the side of her desk.

A final screening of the documents will be done after the interview. I guess.

Usually interview with the consuls last for only about 20-30 minutes.

Just got notice that my expedite request for my wife was approved and NVC email said please contact the Embassy directly for interview and all fees will be paid at the interview time. They had asked for 2 phone #'s of my wife. I cannot use the CEAC website for status and I could not get through to the NVC phone yesterday, they said they were sending the case immediately to USEM. Have any of you gotten an interview date doing the expedite and how did you go about doing it.

I just got back from the PI 10 days ago, be back on the plane soon but not sure how soon I should go. I have all the original docs with me because I thought I would be sending them to the NVC. Any idea how long it takes for the docs to reach the embassy?

Our case was expedited too and had our interview last Jan 6. and we were approved!

1. All fees will now be paid on the interview itself.

2. All documents that should be submitted to NVC will now be submitted at the US Embassy Manila.

3. In our case, expedited Nov 1, NVC mailed docs Nov 5, Nov 19. Documents received by US embassy exactly 14days. Just keep on calling the US Embassy Manila hotline to check on any updates about your case.

4. Once they received your case they will tell you to sign up on ustraveldocs.com/ph to schedule your interview based on the available showing up dates or call the US Embassy call center hotline to have an agent assist you with scheduling your interview.

5. Make sure to complete all the necessary documents and wait for your interview date!

We will rather take it nalang po siguro after visa issuance. We're coming from Pampanga lang naman po kasi. Less than 2hrs away from Manila kaya medyo okay lang. I've read from the reply above na Friday lang yung PDOS for Minors? Hmmm. will take note of that. I will call them nalang tomorrow after interview to check if Friday lang tlga for Minors...
