The visa petition we filed in Jordan, after having waited the 1 year of my residence in order to do so, IS the I-130. Our appointment to file interview was Feb 5 2013. We were informed by our case manager there that we should recieve an interview date within 2-3 months of this date. As of 2 days ago, it has been 3 months. We met online through a marriage site (both being Muslims who had failed to find suitable partners where we were) and spoke online and phone for a year before I came to visit in March/Apr 2011 to be engaged/legally married and see my potential Masters college. August of that year I moved to Jordan to have the arabic wedding ceremony and to attend school; i lost my scholarship so never attended school and have been here 2 years now. Since filing our petition at the embassy we have been subjected to an excessive number of requests for proof of our marriage being genuine including things we cannot furnish as we are living as normal Jordanians (therefore poor and I did not work up until recently) The last email requested tax information which I know legally I do not have to provide, as well as a completely incorrect list of things I sent before (claiming the photos given them were pictures of us separately and our backs not showing us together which is a LIE) as well as all our email correspondenceG

God help you i can sense your fustration and stress - thank god atleast you are both together -

Inshallah your interview will be successful and you will be home soon.

Just got my approval - I'm numb I'm so happy - and the best part i found out while on the phone with my love -

I was so sad and complaining and he was trying to make me feel better and suddenly it appeared!!!

I just recieved a notice from USCIS that says my address was changed on my case???

I never changed my address??

has anyone else gotten this ??

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. When did the congressman say the expedite had been processed? That's good news at least? Hopefully that will mean your case is 'touched' really soon..

213 days

the congressmans office said that the USCIS agreed it was outside of the processing time and would ask for it to be expedited - yet when i called the next day and held for an hour for a tier two rep I was told it was within processing times and i would have a decision within 60 days...nobody gives you a straight aswer that is whats so fustrating. and its taking its toll on our relationship - I dont know how much longer I can do this....

Well past the 7 month mark now - and have no clue what is the hold up - service requests are filed - i get the you will have a decison within 60 days

congressmans office contacted them and they said an expedite will be processed - I think no one is actually has any clue what is going on - they all just give the standard answers.

I am miserable - icannot understand the delays - all the stupid calls i make to the USCIS - all i am told is i will have a decision with 60 days which would be at this time around 9 months of waiting - our realtionship is going thru a rocky time - the distance is taking its toll - I feel hopeless and helpless

Last week I contacted my congressman's office to help inquire about my case - this was the response from USCIS to the congressmans representative -

I received the following response from the USCIS:

This Petition for Alien Fiancé (e) (Form I-129F), Receipt Number , is currently Outside Normal Processing Time.

I will request that this petition be expedited on that basis.

Should I get excited? I am so tired of waiting and today is 207 days

October 5th filer and no sight of the NOA2

I'm making plans to go see my love - I cannot wait anylonger and this wait is just miserable

Another day of waiting

really sick and tired of the whole process - i stayed on hold 1 hour today to speak to a tier two officer who told me nothing but its being processed - it takes time ...blah blah blah

I have been 4 times in the last 17 months and its so dam hard - the last time I saw him was November 24th exactly 5 months ago today ( 151 days )

Its so expensive and I cannot leave my job anymore without risking it and I also cannot leave my girls again or they will really kill me....

If it were up to me I would be there monthly even if it were just for a few days.....

We have a 20 year age difference and Im praying to receive our NOA2 any day

it makes no difference at all - he is actually the more mature one and treats me like Im his baby

we are complete soul mates and compatible in every way ..... just need him here

I did the same thing - 5 before all have rfe and the one after me is approved - Im calling again - this is getting so on my nerves!!

I cannot deal with the robots at USCIS - today is day 199 and now I am told I should definitely have an answer within 30 days and my case is within normal processing times?? how can we be within normal processing times when they have them shown as 5 months and we are going on 7 months???

this is crazy !! again I hear they are working on October 1st files yet approvals show for later October dates??

does anyone know what the truth is??

I am truly sorry for your loss - I have lived thru that pain and loss and its tremendous - I will keep your family in my prayers.
