  1. Of course I blacked out lots of stuff on our personal chats but I left the bank statements as is - to me I really did not concern myself with what purchases I made - I simply wanted to show I had enough deposits and funds available to support us - you can however ask you bank for a monthly deposit statement - my bank did not offer that and I could not just print it online they wanted it officially from the bank - it costs me like $45 for one years worth of statements -

    Hope that helps -

    Jen

  2. My fiancée was approved without ap two days ago this is what I had ready for him

One year of chat logs ( I just pulled a conversation from each month and highlighted the dates )

    Airline confirmations from each trip

And of course the I864 - affidavit of support

Of course he took care of his part

    Medical

    Immunizations

Visa fees and forms , police certificates etc

    Hope that helps

    Good luck :)

  3. here is the consular / interview review

So my fiancee went back for his second interview today and was approved without AP - he said that he was there for over 3 hours and that everything moved very slow. His documents were checked , he was finger printed and the consular reviewed all our proof and asked the following questions - one about our age difference not being the norm in the middle eastern culture? about how his family felt about our engagement? had I met his family ? where I lived ? how we met? how many times I had been married before? where I worked? the dates of my first visit and my last visit, when he proposed and my mothers name? he answered all easily.
She said congratulations you are approved and your passport will be ready next week. He said he was really getting fustrated with everything going so slow and felt like they purposely drag it out.
Either way we are both super excited and so happy he does not have AP smile.gif

    thank you lord again

  4. I am sooooooooooo beyond happy

What a journey this has been

My fiancées visa was approved with no AP

The consular said he will have his passport next week :)

Thank you lord for hearing my prayers

Thank you for the patience only you could give me

Thank you for my friends and supporters here on VJ

Without them I would have been lost probably given up

When I first started this journey no one thought with a 20 age difference we would be approved

And now here I am on the official two year anniversary of when we met I also get this awesome news

    I'm shaking

  5. God bless us all - yes it's very hard - as I type this my fiancée is at his interview and I am up waiting on pins and needles for his call - today is our two year anniversary and its been the most beautiful amazing and difficult times of my life - to live apart from the only one you love - not to be able to share simple things couples take for granted is dam hard. Thankfully I have had five visits in two years but its never enough ....

I filed the petition last September - almost a year later I look back on these long months and know our relationship has been tested many times but here I am minutes maybe from approval inshallah -

Be patient ladies - focus on anything to keep your mind busy - pray ... I pray all the time

Inshallah you will all have your hearts desires ....

  6. Yikes -what do you mean CEO attitude? I really cant take much more of this :(

I have provided every possible bit of proof you can imagine

    Certified copies of my divorce

    3 years certified tax returns

    Letter from my bank

    1 year of bank statements

    Letter from my employer

    certified birth ceritifcate for myself

Copy of my passport including all entry and exit stamps for my 5 visits

Airline and hotel receipts , baggage tags and boarding passes

One year worth of chat logs

    photos from each trip

    gift receipts

plus all his documents - certified , translated - you name it we have it...

Yarubiiiiii please let it go smoothly

  7. Im not saying it will be easy by any means but i have seen it happen here

I am 20 years older than my fiancee - age has never been an issue - we have our interview on the 12th

its a folow up interview to the one we had on June 20th - we had a missing document

i was there with him and have visited 5 times in two years -

we have the proof in the world -

as long as the relationship is real/ solid and you have proof - you have a chance

i was told the same things early on that it would be next to impossible to be approved

my best advice to to visit him - take lots of photos - get his families approval

    and pray.

    good luck

  8. Hi Donna,

First I want to say that you and your fiancee are in my prayers... this journey is so so hard and really tests the strength of the relationship.

I just like you fell completely and totally in love after meeting my fiancee who is 20 years younger than me online...

six weeks later I headed to Jordan and I have been there a total of 5 times since we met. We started the K1 visa journey last Septemeber and our second interview will be on the two year anniversary of the day we met September 12th.

I faced many many obstacles to get this far and just like you I met many wonderful people on this site who until today still offer support me and pray for us.

when I first posted here about our situation I was bombarded with people telling me there are two many red flags - not to get my hopes up - but i refused to give up and trust me when I say it has not been easy - not financially, emotionally, or mentally but the heart wants what it wants and I truly believe in the end it will be worth it because a love like this comes very rarely.

Without a doubt I could have my pick of men but he is all that I want - the total delight of my heart.

It wont be easy and I have no doubt of the sincerity of your emotions and pray he is just as sincere...but must not take anything lightly, listen to your gut instincts and if you even have one tiny shred of doubt - dont ignore it. I am half middle eastern and it is very rare to find an unmarried man at his age

especially if he is employed - its just not common.

Gather as much proof as possible and if there is anyway - anyway at all you can get to Jordan do it - even one visit can make a huge difference and I totally believe that online - over the phone - web cam - email is fabulous but actually being able to see and spend a few days together will give you the strength needed for the rest of the journey and you will know if your feelings are the same.

I have a friend on this site that only met the man in Jordan who later became her fiancee once for a few hours I believe back in 2010 - no one believed their petition would be approved but it was and their interview will be in early septemeber.

I know its expensive and very far and I dont know the extent of your disability and I understand your fear of a foreign country - but the jordanians are very kind people , the new airport is very easy to manage.

Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or just need to talk - I am here for you...

    god bless you

    Jennifer

  9. I just wanted to give everyone an update - it feels like forever since i have been on this site.

Our interview had to be rescheduled becuase my fiancee did not have the correct poilce certificate/document he needed.

It really upset me that he didnt double check everything before i arrived in Amman , he had been sick with a bad chest cold and I guess just was out of the loop.

this whole process has been very stressful on us - our relationship has been tested to the max but I know we will make it.

our interview was on June 20th and they were very friendly and kept the majority of the documents we submitted, he never got to speak to the consul directly.

the first interview appointment they had open is September 12th - that really surprised me but I guess in the summer months the embassy is swamped.

the good news is Septemeber 12th is our two year anniversary so I am hoping it will be good luck.

I wish everyone luck on their visa journey and cant wait to update our timeline as approved :)

  10. not true at all, I know several in amman that did not have AP. Their passports were kept at the interview, and sent back within days with the visa. I get a kick out of people who comment about an embassy or country they know nothing about
