Full disclosure is recommended
If they ask, just explain. Better to disclose than to hide it and they find out.

Ah, I see - as far as I understand it, the sentence portion consists of you writing a sentence that the IO dictates; it's more a test that you can understand spoken English and are able to write it down in a proper sentence. They seem to be more statements (like 'Columbus Day is in October'), not questions that you have to answer in sentence form. There are a couple practice sites like http://passcitizenshipexam.com/writingTest1/index.html and http://www.citizenshipstudyguide.com/member/citizenship-test-civics-writing-exercises.php. There is some discussion with sample sentences here http://forums.immigration.com/threads/new-naturalization-test-sample-sentences-lets-collect.277299 (a few years old, but gives a general sense of what to expect). Judging by your writing in this forum, I think you'll be more than fine!

akihon reacted to F & J in N-400 Filing: 3 years US Citizen Spouse
I would play it safe and just fill it out according to the form instructions, so 5 years.

It is correct the way you filled it. If the form says 5 years, you have to put that specifically, regardless of the time of your relationship.

Will probably be filing later this month, if not very early Feb! Good luck!

even if you're divorced, the I-864 binds the citizen to support the foreign spouse up until citizenship.

You can try filing early. You'll just have your entire application sent back to you because you can't "approach early" outside your 90 day filing window before your 2 year expiry.

akihon got a reaction from AmyWrites in overstay questions
I'm sorry, but you cannot use two US citizens' marriage after 10 years as an example to justify your completely different situation, especially since your foreign wife has violated a ban.
I would recommend a lawyer.

I would consider withholding such information from immigration, lying.

akihon got a reaction from galeface in Evidence to interview...will this be enough?
looks good. Do you have renters/homeowners insurance?
The bank statements should show the transactions already, unless you're only submitting the first page. It would be good for you to highlight on on both your statements the transactions where she writes you the cheque.
opening a joint account now may or may not be pointless. I wouldn't know.

akihon got a reaction from Darnell in Unable to Understand Aproval Notice of I-130
I think the biggest question here is why didn't the OP file I-130 and 485 concurrently?
-
akihon reacted to hmh33 in Applying for i-485 on my own
This is a very big problem. You need a good lawyer.
-
akihon got a reaction from newacct in Form I-130
1. it's kinda obvious that it's asking for the I-94 number.
2. Put the date that's stamped on the I-94.
3. If he entered on F-1, that date is D/S

akihon got a reaction from Kathryn41 in Being apart right after getting married
H1B is not a family visa, it is a work visa. What's the problem?
She is adjusting from a work visa status H1B to LPR based on marriage to a USC. If she isn't adjusting status from H1B, then what is she adjusting from?

akihon got a reaction from Peace.... in There should be a VIP line for K1 processing
want a quicker processing time? get everything right the first time. (I'm not talking about K-1 vs CR-1, just individual processing times - otherwise it's just bad luck sorry)
people just want to complain because they think their wait, their relationship, their love is longer and involves more suffering than anybody else's case. there's a reason why I don't even read the threads that complain about the wait or even the ones about their foreign partner having committed visa fraud. Boo hoo.
I agree with what Evylin and whoever else's opinion coincides with his/hers. I also disagree with the OP. Besides, everybody would pay the expedite fee and we'll be back at square one.
