Thanks everyone for the info. I will have to figure it out I guess

I am worried as to wherther my being outside the country will affect my husbands citizenship petition. I mean will they ask for me to be at the interview.. I ahve travelled to his country to help care for his sick father withthe kids and start a business. I just pray that they wont look at it as a bad thing that I am not there with him. Any one with advice or who has been in this position pls advise.

not sure of exactly where you are in Nigeria.. but pkt 3&4 are picked up so perhaps someone can just go to the embassey and pick it up.. but you will need to email or fax the approval letter so they can take it to the embassey with them.

I remember your user name from 2 years ago when we both were trying to do some of the initial visa stuff. I also went through the CSC. I'm sure you'll get approved soon. As you can see from my CSC time line. I had the NOA in mid-April, and just got approved recently (took 4 months). It seems the time length can really fluctuate from one application to another for some reason, but I'm sure if not in the next few days, then in a couple weeks or so. Good luck!

Ok.. I was not expecting an approval for at least another month since last week there were filers in mid-april just getting approved.It is officially safe to say that I'm approved right? I can't believe I'm still paranoid. It says Card Production Ordered.
It says sent 1245pm yesterday August 21st, 2008.

Thanks.. we are praying so. By the way.. what time did you receive your email. I am looking at approvals to see if they are generically sent in the mornings or if they come al day. I have been stalking my email every 30 min to 1 hr now
as well as checking my online status LOL guess the computer never rests during the visa journey Also please try to add yourself to the csc pace so you can give us some hope for processing times if you can find time.. I know you are celebrating now!!

I was in no way insinuatng that a 2 year old child walk in for the medical alone
.. I thought it was understood that he would be ging with an adult. Especially considering once you arrive you then have to travel to the bank to pay the fee then return again to kamorass with he receipt before being completing the tests which will actually be a 2 day process. You do test and x ray one day and then return on appointed date for results and any needed immunizations. My suggestion is if the child has shot records take them with you so that you wont pay for repeat immunizations not needed. I will also look for the link to see what immunizations are needed for his age group so they dont have you paying for things he wont need.HEY,IS BETTER YOU ASK ANY ELDERLY PERSON TO BE IN COMPANY WITH HIM WHILE GOING FOR IT. HAVE YOU GIVEN AN INTERVIEW DATE? COS THERE IS A PAPER THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THERE WITH SO IS BETTER YOU WAIT TO HAVE THAT PAPER FROM THE EMBASSY HERE. FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY OTHER QUESTION IF THERE IS NEED FOR IT.
