  1. Felshen~ I have got the chance to try pingo, you were absolutely correct. I love it, thanks so much. I hope you will get your $5.00 of calls soon. I have always used African Dream calling card and it gives me problems, I am sure you know, I don't need to say. Problems, problems, problems, expecially on the weekends. Well, I said let me try pingo on the weekend, the call went through the first time. Hmmmm, how wonderful. Thanks again, have a good weekend.

Thank you.. we just got the credit! I am glad you are enjoying it. we fell in love the first try as well. I was wasting 50-60 on calling cards and barely getting 3 hrs of talk time I was so frustarated. I recall getting mad at my sweetie because of the network!. It amazes me how the network to call here is so much better that us calling in with these calling cards! Happy holidays, I am sure you will enjoy the clear reception over the holidays!

  2. try www.pimgo.com they track your phone calls and you can print the records fr your interview. My husband still uses it because you get all the minutes paid for. its just like making a regular phone call.. no bad lconnections or loss of min due to bad connections.

Felshen, I was looking at the pingo site and wanted to sign up. They ask if someone has refered me and to enter their email address, so that person can get five dollars worth of free calls. Anyway, I was going to put you, but don't have your email address. If you want to give me your email, I would gladly say you refered me. It looks like a real nice system, I think it cant hurt to try it out. Thanks.

Thanks my husband could always use the credit. Its felshen@yahoo.com. we love it and as I said he even still uses it now almost a year after arriving here. We use about $20-30 a month and it just automatically recharges. It also helps me keep track of everyones # over there since its right there in the system!

One more question, to make sure, they want your email address that was used when you set up your pingo account. Is that the one you used? wanted to check before I go ahead and put my payment in. silly, huh? Thanks.

\Yep thats my one and only email. I just know that you are gonna love pingo!

  6. I used the same G-325 guide you have there and on the bottom instead of I-129 I put K3 Spousal Visa and they will infer the rest. If you have any more questions feel free to email me.
I put I-129F Petition but in my package along with the I-129F we included a cover letter clearly stating it was for a K3 Visa along with marriage certificate and NOA1 from the I-130 submission... I hope that doesn't delay my K3!

I used them as well so that shouldnt delay anything.. that is all listed under the "Guides" header. I was just showing her an example of what she would find there and in the " Visa Faq" header. There is some very detailed info listed there. I hope you remembered to make 2 copies of everythintg sent even the payment just in case. Good luck in the rest of your joutrney as well!

  7. Congrats on your marriage. When I started my journey in Aug of 5 The first place I hit was ther headers on the top of the page.. The one for guides has a very detailed description of the K3 process. Make sure that you make 2 copies of everything.. It will pay off in the end. The Visa Faq header is also guud it answers some basic questions like this one:

    |10.2)...How do I prepare the I-130 package to start the process for a K3?

A..Please see the K-3"Step-by-Step Guide". In short though you will require the following forms:

    Payment

    I-130 Petition for Immediate Relative

G-325A Biographic Information -- 2 required. One is filled out and signed by you, the other is filled out and signed by the spouse.

A copy of your birth certificate, passport, or Certificate of Naturalization (you have to prove you are a US Citizen).

A certified copy of your marriage certificate.

A photo of yourself (see note) with your name printed on the back of the photo.

A photo of your spouse (see note) with the spouse's name printed on the back of the photo.

A copy of the divorce decree, if you were previously married.

A copy of the death certificate if your marriage ended due to the death of your spouse.

A copy of the divorce decree, if your spouse was previously married.

A copy of the death certificate if your spouse's marriage ended due to the death of their spouse.

A check or money order for the required fee.

I used the same G-325 guide you have there and on the bottom instead of I-129 I put K3 Spousal Visa and they will infer the rest. If you have any more questions feel free to email me. Again Congrats and Good luck on the rest of your journey!

  10. That letter and email is what I scanned to my husband. I also started calling the embassy immediately to see if they had recieved it. It seems that it shows in their systems after a week or so. My husband went every couple days though with the letter that I forwarded to him via email. Each time the guard would check then finally he was allowed inside to pick the packet. Congrats and good luck!!!

  11. packet 3 and 4 are picked up together. It is a notice of your interview date as well as documentation needed, like where to go to get the police report and medical exam. There is a form that must be completed but NOT SIGNED and turned in on the day of the interview. It must be signed in front of the Interview officer. Oh BTW Congrats on your packet being forwarded

  12. Congrats Boaz on the upcomming interview!!! I was thrown for a loop at our interview because they asked for a lot of the info that was sent to the 1st interview in Naija, so if you have any bring it along just in case. Like phone records and such. Also they are going to ask a lot of info about your early relationship before he came. If you need more inlfo just call me or email me ok?

  13. I guess I'm kind of an old timer... I've just gotten so busy now that my hubby's here, but I still come on to lurk occasionally too

Sorry to hear that you guys are having some issues right now. We all go through that its a part of growing together I think. Stay strong and COMMUNICATE with each other no matter how hard it may seem. I have to catch myself even now and remind myself that its a process. I will keep you guys in my prayers.

  14. hey Felshen,

I remeber you! Hows everything? Any news from the guys i mentioned above? Hey what about Michael? Hows he doing?

Everything is going well for us. Michael is working and Finally getting settled into a routine. He got his US drivers Liscense yesterday and ia so excited about that! We are building a new house and hope to move in by the Summer.TMKUTI and KWEALTHY are doing well and will be joining us for Thanksgiving Dinner. Auntie Kathleen, as the children call her, is waiting for her Hubby to follow with his CR-1. Tamiika and David are well. David arrived shortly after Michael arrived, they spent Labor Day weekend with us. It was awesome, and they will be moving here in Feb for good! So we will have some of our VJ family close by.

How are things going with you?

  15. I am one of those old timers and that is the very reason I dont poust much.o I do drop in to lurk and catch up, and sometimes IM my response to the poster, but I dont have time for a lot of drama. I do keep in touch with the folks that you have listed though on a personal level. I, like you, thought this would be a great forum to build an extended family for our significant others, so I guess I have been blessed to have the friendships that I have developed here.
