You will get an email when your interview will be scheduled. Normally I have read that NVC schedules 2nd week of each month. So expect something in 2nd week of October.

I am not sure about FeDex as I have never used it. I sent via DTDC while sending all my original documents to my husband in US. They took 5 business days to deliver and u can track the shipment online.

I've never been so vigilant of my email inbox as I am now. Everytime my phone notifies me of an incomming mail, I quickly jump to check if it is the NVC notification of the interview date. It could be any moment from now to whenever. There is no more "20 business days", now it's "whenever one is available" so I have not timefram to attain to.
Yesterday, I had a mini heartattack when I saw the NVC emailed me a checklist document. I quickly recapacitated and remembered almost a week ago I had been notified of case complete and deduced that this must be a fake checklist. But ofcourse, I called to confirm and it was. PHEW!!!
C'mon NVC, I don't need fake documents I need an interview date !
Hope you all are swiftly moving along and keeping pacient. We know how trying the NVC journey can be but soon we will make it through, God willing.
I am DESPERATELY waiting for NVC to review the RFE and close the case ASAP. Please do it fast NVC.

Hi Goodmorning everyone.
I recently made the AOS fee payment to NVC and mail out my AOS.What is the next step?
How can i make the IV payment? or should i want untill NVC tell me what to do?
Thank You.
Conssidering that you have sent the DS-3032 form, as soon as you recieve the acceptance email of form DS-3032 you can start checking the payment portal for the IV bill to be generated. Once its paid then u can send the packet IV and wait for the case to be completed.

Just mailed my AOS package to NVC and hopefully they will review and approve sooner. do I have to call each day and ask if it has been review and accepted? any estimated time?
Thanks again family
Mine took exactly 7 days, you can refer my signature. You can call NVC from 5th day or so.

Just wondering ?
1.We havent sent AOS to NVC yet , can we still send DS-230 to NVC ?
2.Can I send the DS-230 packet directly to NVC from India using FedEx ? is the NVC address same or diffrent for receving FedEx ?
Thanks in advance !
Yes, you can still send the packet IV if you have paid IV fees. I had sent AOS and packet IV together (2 different packets) Even if you send the packet IV before AOS they willw ait for AOS packet and may generate a checklist for it.
You can send the packet IV from India, they need to receive it no matter from where you send it. The address is same for NVC to receive any kind of packets for this process.

Thanks, last time it took them 13 days to give an RFE to me for form DS-230. This means they took 13 days to review my packet.
-
Just got off the phone with NVC and still not yet reviewed, how bout yours? Any luck?
No luck yet, will call them tomorrow again.
-
I would like to guess so, but not seen anybody fron VJ getting date. we have some late august case complete people in the list.
How many days nvc took for your packet IV to be accepted since it was delivered? Can I expect 5 days for them to review and accept my RFE?
-
FedEx delivered to NVC sept 20 but when I called them Thurs and Friday they could not confirm receiving it yet, gave me the usual allow for 20 days for review. This wait is getting to be frustrating. I plan to call again this week
They will no be able to confirm receiving until its reviewed and accepted. I will call today to find out the status.

-
On the same boat as K Patel -got checklist for question 30 as well and waiting for NVC to finish review and complete my case. FedEx delivered new IV pack last Thurs good luck to us

Now wait for visa application bill for $230 to be generated, pay that and send the civil documents.

On the Mumbai consulate website they have not posted October Interview schedule yet. Does that mean there are still slots available for October interviews?
-
And ya my visa type is f2a
My I-864 took exactly 7 days to get accepted, you can refer my signature.
-
Thank you for all the information
We will try to get a tourist visa (fingers crossed)
Thanks
Hang on to your I-130. Refer to my signature and you will come to know the actual facts. It can take from 9-12 months unless you are very lucky. Patience is the key.

As soon as both the payments are shown as PAID you can send both the packets, it doesnt matter which you send first, you can even send at the same time. the faster you send the faster your case will be completed and you will be placed in the queue for assigning the interview date.

For Bombay, I have observed that interview date is about 2 months from your case completion. So my case was completed on 9/7/12 I anticipate our interview around 11/7/12. Plus or minus few days. However I have also noted that people that get their case completed around end of a month, they get their interview early 3rd month. So if one gets their case complete on 9/28/12 I would expect early December date. I hope this helps. This is what I have noted. I know some people form August end case complete date are still waiting.
Ooops!! I always thought that at least I will make it to November Interviews, if not October. This is really sad.

hAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR AOS DOC TOO AND PAYED BOTH THE IV AND AOS FEES?
I have paid both the fees, sent both the packets out of which AOS got accepted and got RFE for ds-230, sent new ds-230 form 2 days back which should have reached NVC.. Now waiting for case complete, please see my signature.

IT DEPENDS ON YOUR COUNTRY AND THE TRAFFIC. JUST TRY AND ENSURE YOUR CASE COMPLETE BY MONTH END. THEN YOUR CHANCES MAY BE INCREASED.
Thanks, I have done everything from my side now just waiting for them to review the ds-230 and complete the case.
-
I am waiting for the case to get completed and then I will definitely join this thread. Do you think I can get interview date before 20th November?
