So RFEs take longer to review than a normal packet?

today NVC sent email to my wife saying AOS and IV bills are paid and that she should download forms and send them in, but they are already sent in last week. I was not even copied on the email as Agent. is this something we should ignore?

Yes, its a false checklist. Normally they take 7-10 days to review and accept the packets once they are delivered at NVC. Until they are not reviewed they will ask you to send them. I also got a false checklist during my process.

Congratulations kpatel! I am also waiting for my stepdaughter's case to be completed at NVC. Her IV docs were received by NVC from Fedex last Sept. 27. May I ask when did NVC receive your IV documents? God bless!

Hi, if you see my signature, NVC recieved my packet IV on 4th Sep and I got RFE on 17th Sep (took 13 days for them to review the packet). RFE was delivered at NVC on 21st Sep and got reviewed and case complete on 1st October (10 days).

If you do not get any RFE then your packet hould be reviewed and accepted by this week end or early next week. Good luck!!

Congras!!! We're still waiting for that...we called them this morning our time, they said it'll take up to 4 weeks for the visa application to be processed in the system. I know it's just a deterrent to keep people from calling. At least, we haven't gotten any checklist for our IV package, so it could be good news!?

I am very positive that you will get a case complete (incase of no RFE's) by this weekend. First time when I got RFE it took them 13 days to review the packet and this time it was on the 10th day. Good luck!!

Hi Guys, today morning after a long wait of 15 minutes over the phone i got to hear that my CASE COMPLETED today at NVC. Now I am in the queue for NVC to assign me an interview date.

I know its country specific; however, just wanted to take a chance and ask people that do you guys think I can make it for late November Interview date? My 1st wedding anniversary is on 6th Dec and want to be with hubby by then. Thanks.

Can someone pls help with this question.. I would like to know when interviews for CR1 are usually scheduled.

Is it the beginning,middle or ending of the month prior to the month of your supposed interview? I heard they usually have a cut-off period in the month prior to your supposed interview month.

Based on what I have read, most of the people say that NVC schedules interviews on 2nd week of each month and the interview date will be of next month.

I sent via email and it took 9 days for them to send the acceptance emial. I assume you should get acceptance email on Monday by 5pm.

Mine was also delivered last friday (21st Sep), but no case complete yet.

I dont know whats wrong with NVC, they still have not reviewed my corrected DS-230. Still waiting for case to be completed and now cant have case complete in September.

I am still waiting on my case to be completed. I am calling NVC daily to find the status but no luck yet. Hopefully should get to hear 2 charming words today

I hope to get case complete by this weekend/month end.

Wanted to request if someone can help me in getting clarity that how long is the Police Verification Report valid. Last January 13 I got the PCC for the Fiance VISA (The VISA got rejected). Now I got married and I am going through the process again for the Spouse VISA. My I-130 got approved and now the paper work is at NVC. NVC will be requesting the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) with the DS-230 form.

So my question is can I use the PCC which got issued in January 13, or do I need to get a new one issued? Also how long is the PCC valid for? (Orginally we got 2 copies of PCC issued and I have used one in the fiance already and but I am still having one copy which I can use for this process.)

Please any help would be appreciated.

AS far as I know the PCC issued by police authority is valid for 6 months and PCC issued by passport office is valid for 1 year.
