  1. My son didnt attend the seminar but has to pay 400 pesos for registration, u need to bring your passport and your daughters passport and a copy of the paper on y'alls packet.

oh and by the way its a first come first serve basis 12 person per session, this is what my wife told me so better get there early. she did her CFGO seminar 4 weeks before her interview. I would suggest not to bring your daughter with you cause its a pretty long process.

  2. Congrats! How old are your kids? let me know the process for the CFO (requirements to bring for the kids) cuz we're also going

a day before our flight for Hawaii.

  3. So you mean I will be only able to check it when the passport's with 2go already? Is there any chance that the consul's decision would change? I mean if they've told you you're approved then suddenly changes their mind? :) thanks! :)

I had that same feeling of anxiety, my wife had her interview last Sept. 11,2012 and she got her passport and visa last saturday Sept. 15,2012. you should be fine. just give them a day or two and they will text you.

  4.  I'm Happy for your, Prayers Answered

by the way, hope she didn't forgot to drop her shipping form at Window 69   :

she did mentioned about window 69 but could'nt understand her, she was told that she will recieve a text message from them to pick up the visa, she told me that she choses a 2go outlet near their place.

  5. I would like to thank my fellow VJ'ers, without y'alls helpful advices and experiences my family will not able to reach this great moment. My wife's and son visa's got approved yesterday 10:30 am at manila embassy, The consul was very nice to them, she asked a couple of question. "Who is your petioner?", and "How did we met your husband?", "Have you been out of the country?" and for my son question was "What is your name?" and "How old are you?". after that the consul said congratulations your visa is approved. she claimed its was merely 3 mins of interview.

Again Thank you and good luck guys to your Journeys!!!

  6. Her NBI clearance is correct. The format is MAIDEN NAME, de MARRIED NAME, FIRST NAME y MIDDLE NAME. She needs an AKA if she had used for example, Perly in legal documents aside from Perla.

    Thanks!!

  7. True to that :D and hopefully your wife got NBI's also of her previous names used..just an add on :D

previous means when she was not married to me yet?

her NBI appears like this. CRUZ, de NATIVIDAD, PERLA y BAUTISTA

CRUZ is her last name when she was not married to me yet, NATIVIDAD is my last name, PERLA is her name, BAUTISTA is her middle name.

  8. Tomorrow is my wife's Interview, Does she need a new set of NBI for her inteview, Im so worried right now if this will make her to have a 221g. the date of her NBI issuance was July 3,2012. so its only 2 month old. anyone have experienced this?

  9. I had my BC corrected on 2004 that's why they need a new nbi with AKA.

gotcha, coz me and my wife is already panicking when we saw this, we got confuse for a bit.

  10. Thanks Everyone who also shared their experiences,

it really helped my journey.. and also friends

Don't Forget to PRAY. It's the most powerful

weapon you will have in your journey.

God Bless to ALL...just got home in my hometown, ILOILO

still stress from the trip  but my <3 still

Next step.... Packing our stuff and send them out Via POSTAL.

    Congrats!! I'm Happy for you!

I hope my wife and my son interview will be same as yours.

  11. we just got our visa in the mail via 2go yesterday.... our interview was on 30 july, the requested documents were received 3 aug, then it was reviewed until delivery to our door on 5 sep.... total turnaround time from submission of requested docs to visa in hand about 6 weeks... of course, timelines might differ based on the type of documentation being 'reviewed'... for us, it was a different copy version on a CENMAR and a CENOMAR... hope this information is helpful to someone, as calling USEM is usually a frustrating, time consuming, and fruitless endeavor.

    tony

Hi, What is the difference between CENMAR and CENOMAR.

  12. 7.9 earthquake just struck near Philippine....Tsunami Alert in afect

This is just Breaking NOW....more info to come.

Pray for our loved ones once again in Philippines....

Possible 1 Meter or more that will hit the coastal areas of Surigao del norte, southern Leyte and Samar.

Lets hope and pray they be safe.

  13. Good thing is you get to detroit... Mnl-NGO is 4 hours and NGO-DTW is 12 hours about. All the 747's at delta are just about done getting upgraded so good chance you will get your own in seat entertainment. Ya, of course asian flight attendents are better, might as well get use to the snobby women in the states right off the bat, haha.

Asian Flight attendants are much younger and really courteous, while on Delta they kinda seem a lil bit old and snubbish.

  14. I have a question for everybody. Who here has taken the Delta flight to Japan, then on to Detroit? If you have taken it please let me know how it was, what all you liked and disliked?

What I dont like is you have to sit for almost 16 hours Japan to Detroit. but food is great. I had sushi one time.
